I was a bit worried, but I found the hotel entrance quickly. The hotel staff were very friendly and spoke Japanese, which was a relief. It's an incredible price considering Hong Kong's small size. The location is great! It's perfect for a place to stay just for sightseeing. If you're shopping and have a lot of luggage, you can just drop it off, take a short break, and then head out again... It's the best! The building itself is old, so some people might like it, but it's well-kept, and there's space under the bed to store suitcases and other items, and there's not a speck of dust on the ground! I was able to blend in with the locals and enjoy the authentic Hong Kong experience! (Though it might not be for those with a germaphobia,) I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a unique Hong Kong experience. You enter a password when entering the accommodation gate and when entering your room, so it's very safe.

The service was excellent, and the price was reasonable. They even helped me with my luggage when I moved rooms. Sometimes people would smoke indoors, but the landlady made an effort to stop it. Thank you. Small is the expectation in an area as centrally located as this in Hong Kong. Good service, safe and comfortable place to sleep - thank you!

The boss is a handsome guy, very enthusiastic, because of pneumonia, check out early, he gave a refund without saying a word. The area of the hotel is about 150 square meters and there are 8 rooms. Although the rooms are not too big, you should have them all. They are clean and clean. The mattresses and pillows are similar to those of a 4-star hotel, which is very comfortable. TST is a great place to stay because there’s always life and something open late at night. The hotel is on the east side and has within the direct vicinity everything you need from tailors to corner stores, fancy restos, quick and cheap eateries, shisha bars and everyday massage places. Most people would probably walk out of of the hotel towards the bay (walking distance crossing pedestrian bridge to Bruce Lee statue) but if you walk inlands through the alley (or walk around or through the Peninsula building/mall to avoid the kids seeing the explicit **********) there’s a big square with the cheaper end amenities. Our rooms were on the 15th top floor which gives every lift ride the wonderful view of the transition from enclosed lobby to open restaurant inner courtyard but once atop, the railings are on and off glass with a direct view of the actual height between your floor and the restaurant buffet on the third!! We purchased flight and one night in a package deal and decided to stay and extend for two nights and the staff were kind enough to waive the extra fees for the upgraded larger rooms our original package offered. 1506 was our corner room giving you just about a glimpse of the bay from either side and 1518 was an extra large room perfect for the kids and to organise the extra shopping we did in Mong Kok. No special amenities for children however, I even had to ask for an extra towel for our third child. But there was a pool on the rooftop and the kids loved it!

My initial impression of Royal Plaza Hotel in Hong Kong was quite good. The location is very close to the school, and the room's facilities and city view seemed nice. The bathtub was large, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a good view. However, at 3 PM, a bump inexplicably appeared on my foot. I thought it was just a regular mosquito bite and didn't pay much attention to it. But around 8 PM, two or three more bumps appeared on my body. By 11 PM, I had accumulated five or six red, swollen, itchy, and unbearable bites. I suspected bed bugs. I never expected to encounter them at this hotel. I called the front desk to report the situation, and the hotel arranged a room change. Although the room change went smoothly, I was worried about getting bitten again and was on edge all night, so I didn't sleep well.

I stayed for three nights. On the first day, my flight was delayed by 4 hours, and I arrived at 4 AM. The front desk staff was on duty and processed my check-in quickly. The room had a direct drinking water tap, which was a nice touch. The room was also relatively spacious, and the windowsill had a soft padded cushion where you could sit or lie down. The bedding was a down comforter. Controls for lighting, air conditioning, and curtains were all push-button style, located on the bedside table, which was convenient. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Causeway Bay MTR Station Exit F1, very close to SOGO, and there are many dining options nearby. The hotel's Regal Palace restaurant is also outstanding.

I've unearthed an amazing, super value-for-money, divine sea view hotel in Hong Kong! 🏨✨ This time I went to Hong Kong for a business trip and blindly booked the [Butterfly on Waterfront Boutique Hotel] near Exit A1 of Sai Ying Pun MTR station. It's instantly become my top pick! ‼️ The location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a 2-minute walk from MTR Exit A1. You don't have to climb hills or go around with your luggage, which is super friendly for lazy people/those with kids 👏 Plus, the tram stop is right next to it, making it super convenient to get to Central, Causeway Bay, and Kennedy Town. Isn't it better to save on taxi fares and buy milk tea instead? 🥤 When I opened the window in the room, I literally screamed – a 180° Victoria Harbour sea view directly in front of me 🌊! During the day, you see blue skies, white clouds, and scattered sailboats, and at night, you witness the dazzling lights of Victoria Harbour. You can take Instagram-worthy photos right from your bed 📸 The room isn't huge, but it's well-laid out, clean, and tidy. The mattress has just the right firmness, so after a long day of walking, I instantly fall asleep 💤 Most importantly! The soundproofing is excellent! I couldn't hear any noise from next door or the street. Light sleepers will be overjoyed 😭 The hotel service is also super thoughtful~ The front desk lady proactively helped me call a taxi and recommended authentic local cha chaan tengs nearby (highly recommend the scrambled egg and char siu rice next door! 🍛!) The price is considered reasonable in Hong Kong. For an average of 400+ per person for a sea view room, what more could you ask for? 🚲 As for the downsides... the room size isn't particularly large, but Hong Kong is a place where every inch of land is precious. I used to stay at a hotel near Mong Kok Station when I was in town for business. This time, I saw a promotional rate for this hotel and decided to give it a try for 5 nights. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained and quite clean. The faucet in the room is a bit too close to the sink, making handwashing a little inconvenient. I'd suggest providing hand soap in the rooms. The restaurant, while not having a huge variety, does make small changes to the menu daily. There's an older chef who often comes out to check empty trays and replenishes food promptly, which is very professional. The front desk staff are friendly and resolve issues quickly. It's close to Olympic Station and the hotel also offers a shuttle, making transportation quite convenient. There are plenty of dining options nearby. I'd definitely stay here again.

The location is incredibly convenient, right next to The Peninsula Hotel, diagonally opposite Chungking Mansions, and on Nathan Road. The hotel itself felt a bit old and dated. Even though it was a non-smoking room, I could still smell a faint cigarette odor. It's a small detail, but the tissues were only in the bathroom, which was inconvenient. Also, amenities were charged, there was no complimentary water, and the shampoo was a 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner. The air conditioning was quite strong; I turned it off when sleeping, but it was still cold. However, considering its excellent location and value for money, I suppose it's acceptable.

You can tell the hotel has some history. Definitely book a newly renovated floor. I stayed on the 24th floor, and the room had a great view of Kowloon Park and China Hong Kong City below. They didn't ask for a deposit and provided complimentary drinks and snacks in the mini-fridge, which was a nice touch since there was no drinking water in the room. Because I was staying for two days, I went to Wellcome across the street to buy bottled water. Even though the room was newly renovated, for some reason, the power would cut out for a second sometimes 🙄 so strange! Since it happened on the second night, I didn't bother reporting it to the front desk. I was actually thinking I'd book this hotel again for future high-speed rail trips to Hong Kong 😂
