The location of the hotel is excellent and the breakfast meets the general requirements. Affordable. Recommended for travelers to stay here

Loved the location. Hotel was very nice and most of the front desk people were very accommodating. The lady who held luggage until we checked out was so very nice and funny. The rooms were very nice for an older hotel. The restaurant was a complete dud. Breakfast was overpriced and appeared as if it were heated up in microwave. No refills on coffee. Staff standing around and showing no interest in people there. Felt we could have gone down the street and had a better meal for much less.

The facility,food , location, view was amazing

The hotel is clean, modern, and comfortable. That's not such a hard thing to find these days if you know what to look for when searching for a hotel. It's having an excellent hotel staff running the place that is so hard to find. Luis who works the front desk really went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. On top of being friendly and helping us find a good place to eat during our stay in Galveston. I needed a room with a walk-in shower, but unfortunately the one we got was a regular old tub. I spoke with Luis and he went looking in every single room they had available trying to find me one. Unfortunately all the rooms they had left were ones with a tub, so I didn't get my room with a shower in the end. But that's not something I can hold against him or the hotel. I booked the room only hours before arriving and I couldn't expect him to find me something that simply isn't available. It's the effort he put in that left me with such a positive impression of this hotel. I highly recommend staying at Homestead Suites if you're ever in Galveston. You'll be well taken care of if you do.

Everyone was nice and the property was conveniently located so you could walk to the main attractions. We also got a free upgrade when we informed them that it was our anniversary!

My wife and I were delighted to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary at the Dan'l Webster Inn. From the moment we walked through the front door, we were greeted by Dan, one of the warmest and kindest soul's we have met on our travels. He embodies the spirit of this fabulous place, transforming what could have been a life-less historical place into a joyful embrace of history and good will. I hope each person who enters your doors has the good fortune of meeting this charming man! We will be back.

An exceptional location for Marriot-family loyalists. The staff gave 5 star treatment. Miranda ran breakfast service the mostly effectively for a crowd. This is best service we've experienced at a Marriott self serve. Meal had common finds in addition to a scone bar. Hot breakfast was higher quality options than most too. We will be back for the breakfast. Rooms are small for suites but to be expected for a coastal location. When we were there, they were in the procress of remodeling. Internet TV is in the works.
