There are limited means of transportation to get to this hotel.
It took about 3.5 hours by UBER from Alexandria, costing 1400 yen in local currency, but UBER could not be used from the hotel to Marsa Matruh, so I had to call a taxi, which took about 45 minutes and cost 600 yen. Also, communication at the front desk was not good at dispatching the car, which was very unpleasant. There seems to be no taxi nearby, so it takes a long time to call one, so I recommend requesting a taxi at least an hour in advance. There is nothing nearby, and it is a different story if you want to enjoy the pool and the sea on the hotel grounds, but if you are thinking of sightseeing from the hotel to Marsa Matruh, I think it would be better to stay at a hotel in Marsa Matruh, considering the round-trip taxi fare and travel time. It may be due to the season, but I felt that the beach had strong waves and was not suitable for swimming or for children to play. The rooms are clean, but the amenities are basic. Drinks in the room other than water are charged separately. It is not all-inclusive. Dinner was included in the price of the room, but the only drink available was water; other soft drinks and coffee were charged extra.

Everything was wonderful.
Efficient, friendly service, lovely, spacious room, well equipped gym, excellent facilities, plentiful, delicious breakfast & dinner.
And the most beautiful beach I have ever seen, with crystal clear water, gentle waves, soft white/gold sand.
Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable.
I will be back next week already!

The hotel's location is decent, but since it's only four stories high, there isn't much difference between a sea view room and one without.
As for breakfast, it's not about whether it's good or not, but the staff served us so much food, it was almost embarrassing!
All the electrical outlets in the room were round, so my plugs wouldn't fit. I had to ask the hotel for an adapter. And there was no hairdryer either, so I had to ask for that separately too. Oh my god, it was such a hassle, constantly having to go down to the front desk to ask for things.
At checkout, I encountered a front desk receptionist who didn't speak English. We were completely unable to communicate. I don't understand why a hotel that serves travelers would have an employee at the reception desk who can't speak any English at all.

The hotel is in a pleasant location, not far from the city center, on a quiet street. The name lives up to its name: white sand, a beautiful bay, a wonderful view, and an excellent, filling breakfast. I'd especially like to mention the best falafel I've ever tasted in Egypt. I really liked the treadmill. Unfortunately, we were there out of season, so the spa treatments were unavailable, but the hotel staff was embarrassed to point this out. There wasn't enough water in the room either. Dinner at the hotel was great; the grilled seafood was delicious, and the sauce was amazing. If I go to Marsa Matruh, I'll stay at the Triumph White Sands.

Overall way a lovely relaxing stay. The resort is generally clean and well maintained. The rooms we booked were spacious and have a nice view on the beach. The breakfast is good but the quality and the cooking could be better.
The beach is not large but there were always spots available. The water is calm and warm (in September) as it is an artificial bay not the open sea water making it very suitable for families with small kids. This is a plus since the many days the mediterranean can be high and unswimmable. The sea bed has some black sand underneath with faul odour but generally it is covered and not directly noticeable.
The main downside is the location. It is about 30 minutes drive from the city center, with virtually no services around. One has to order either a taxi or have a car to move around. But there are delivery services if you need food if you ask the reception, as it might require an arabic speaker.
Lastly, the staff are very friendly and were always eager to help.From€117

Despite the mixed reviews online, I decided to stay here mainly for the Mediterranean views and the hotel's location. It's situated in a beachside amusement area, about a 17-minute walk from the city center. The nearby restaurants generally have lower ratings and are mostly ice cream shops. Many trendy spots are in the city center, requiring a taxi, or you can enjoy a pleasant walk along the beach in the evening. The hotel facilities are just adequate; the room has a hairdryer, a drying rack, and the hotel boasts its own beach and swimming areas. The service is excellent; the staff are very patient and helpful with any issues, and I'd particularly like to commend Ms. Mahytab. The scenery is absolutely stunning – the 'Matrouh Blue' lives up to its reputation. Waking up to that brilliant blue every day really boosts your mood! P.S. You can even catch the Mediterranean sunrise from your window.From€54
