Spotted a cockroach early morning around 4 am when i entered toilet. Head board of the bed had dust and looked dirty. Bedsheet might be washed but had stain marks and felt itchy. Towel provided was very hard may be because they were old. I asked the room boy to clean the table in my room for which he came with a similar white towel and leaned the dirt off the table which made me wonder whether they will wash that very towel and give it for clients as bathing towel

The hotel service was absolutely wonderful. As soon as we got out of the car, a staff member helped with our luggage, assisted with check-in, and then brought our bags up to the room. The service was incredibly thoughtful.
The hotel's location is superb, and the facilities are comprehensive. This time, we booked a room with a private hot spring, which was spacious and extremely comfortable.
The hotel offers a wide variety of experiential activities for guests. The breakfast buffet was of very high quality, with a great selection, and everything tasted excellent.
What's even more important is how much the hotel values the guest experience. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to change our itinerary and check out early. The front desk staff showed genuine concern, inquired about the reason, and provided all possible assistance, including communicating with the booking platform to minimize our loss. This left a very deep and grateful impression on me.
Next time I visit Yilan, I will definitely choose to stay at Mu Jiaoxi Hotel again and will enthusiastically recommend it to my friends and family.FromAU$281

Personal hot tub was relaxing with unbeatable views
Pool was great. Only exception was during the day it was unusable when sunny which defeats the purpose of a pool but we used it on the cloudy days.
Rooms were big and clean. Staff was friendly and kind to children

The room is a bit small, especially the toilet, but the view is marvellous. As for the buffet, it's decent but not much changes for the 3d2n stay. What most of the hotel doesnt have is the spirit of holding all guest together at a party from 8pm-10pm. The hotel host a all the hotel guest to self enjoy some food & treats. I think it's a great idea.
In terms of the location, must have transportation otherwise you can even travel to the night market.

We stayed in an Economy Twin Room. The industrial design was quite distinctive.
For the specific room my family and I occupied, if you're sharing with friends or someone you're not romantically involved with, you'll definitely want to draw the internal bathroom curtain (which covers both the toilet and shower) to avoid any awkward direct views from the bed.
Additionally, it's important to know that the bathroom door consists of two semi-transparent sliding glass panels and doesn't have a lock. The glass isn't very opaque, so those who prefer more privacy might feel a bit exposed or uncomfortable. While the door directly faces a wall, which isn't too bad, it can be a little unsettling if your companion is coming in or out of the room (especially from the right side)... though perhaps some might find it 'stimulating'?
On the whole, the most crucial aspect was how incredibly comfortable the bed was. The sheets, mattress, duvet, and pillows all perfectly met our preferences. The decor was also lovely, making the entire stay feel exceptionally pleasant.FromAU$50

During the overall stay, the front desk and service docking staff were very polite and friendly, the location is super convenient, and the interior design is very comfortable. However, it happened that the sloppy resident of the female room in the quadruple room did not clean the toilet that was stained with menstrual blood and had to wipe it himself. As for the only moments when I felt uncomfortable, it was before check-out time. In the shared bathroom, the housekeeping staff would use actions to urge me. Halfway through taking a shower in the shared bathroom on the top floor at night, the lights went out in the bathroom at almost ten o'clock and it was dark, that's all.FromAU$41

It’s literally the middle of nowhere, but the hotel is clean and room spacious. The staff were polite , and although the dining area was quiet when we went, the food was actually very good. 1. The room near the elevator is close to the road, with poor sound insulation. I could hear the sound of traffic all night and couldn't sleep peacefully.

The location is not very near city but with car or taxi it is easily access to anywhere.
What matters is the staff and their service. The family room we booked for 2 nights is spacious and has sufficient room to move around. However, the sewer smell is strong. We informed the staff and they rectified it immediately. The next night all good, room very clean.
