Thanks for the wonderful five-day stay! I had such a comfortable and restful time. Every evening, the hotel would bring us various traditional sweet soups they brewed themselves, which was a lovely touch. Getting around was super convenient too; we just called for the shuttle service and they responded very quickly. I also tried the singing bowl healing session, which was a truly relaxing and peaceful experience. I loved waking up each morning, drawing the curtains, and being greeted by the healing view of the mountains and wild nature. The third floor was relatively quiet, and we weren't disturbed by people soaking in the wild springs by the river, so privacy was well-protected. Booking the complimentary travel photography service was quick and easy as well, and some of the fixed shooting spots produced really great photos.

Overall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly! But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good. The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality. Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient. To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person. They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa. We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room. I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment. But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade. Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high. I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page. We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget. We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us. And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.

Our butlers, Xiao Zou and Xiao Chen, provided excellent service. Before we even arrived, they sent a video of the room to confirm the room type. During our stay, their responses were incredibly quick. Because the weather was so hot, I mentioned that the mini-fridge wasn't cold enough. They offered to bring some ice for my drinks, and to my surprise, they brought a huge box of ice! It hadn't even completely melted by the time we checked out the next day. 😊

Wow, I’m so happy I decided to spend my birthday weekend at the hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful to us. The beds are extremely comfortable, cleans and elegant. It was so refreshing to have the hot pool which I enjoyed well at the evening, as weather temperatures were much lower. Thank you to all the staff members who made our stay more pleasant (@Rachel) . The hotel amenities are top tier. The breakfast was great, well cooked and liked the fact that they serve western breakfast and not just Chinese. The pool was clean and great to be around. I would definitely recommend the place and I hope you enjoy your stay like I did. I look forward to coming again ☺️

The rolling meadows and scattered houses were breathtaking from the first, second, and third glance. I actually found the lawn outside our room more beautiful and photogenic than the main grassland in the scenic area. After breakfast, my mom went to the Wellness Center for a healing session, and my child had a blast at the Tree Hole Playground – it truly felt like an idyllic life! The hotel's butler, shuttle bus drivers, and therapists all had excellent service and attitudes, a definite thumbs up! My only regret is that we were too rushed. I really wish I could come back next time and stay a couple more days to slowly enjoy tea in the courtyard, stroll leisurely through the woods, and experience a few more healing treatments.

This hotel has a very unique Republic of China-era charm, elegant and grand. You can enjoy river views right from your balcony. The rooms are comfortable, and although breakfast is a set menu, it's very hearty and delicious. The hotel also features a small, distinctive museum. The staff are incredibly warm and attentive, going above and beyond to meet guests' needs – truly thoughtful and welcoming. The complimentary travel photoshoot included with the booking was a huge surprise; the photographer was very professional, perfectly blending the subjects with the background. It was absolutely stunning! Mangeng Mansion is definitely worth a second stay.

The Regent Hotel truly lives up to its reputation as Chongqing's top hotel. The service is exceptionally thoughtful, with the butler service being incredibly meticulous. The hotel environment is clean, tidy, and exudes elegant restraint. Both the lounge and Ba Lang restaurant offer first-class food. We were pleasantly surprised by the many Christmas decorations throughout the hotel. For first-time visitors to Chongqing, a stay at The Regent Hotel is a must-try experience; it will definitely enhance your trip significantly.

This stay was absolutely perfect! The lady at the front desk greeted me with a warm smile upon arrival, and the room view was incredible. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so soft I slept like a baby. The breakfast spread was extensive, and even the freshly ground coffee was authentic. It's close to the subway station, making it very convenient for getting around. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Chongqing, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip here! Jinx provided excellent service!

Our room on the 63rd floor was incredibly spacious, comfortable, clean, and bright, offering stunning views of both the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers. To one side, we could see the Old Shuimen Yangtze Bridge, and to the other, Hongyadong and Qiansimen. As soon as we arrived at the hotel entrance, a very handsome concierge quickly came to help with our luggage. At the front desk, the 'yaomei' (a friendly term for a young woman in Chongqing) was patient and meticulous in explaining the hotel's amenities and even offered welcome fruit. Once we got to our room, the concierge swiftly delivered our luggage. The room facilities were excellent, clean, and tidy. Plus, there's a shopping mall right downstairs, along with Chaotianmen Square where the two rivers meet, making the location very convenient. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Chongqing.

Had an amazing staycation at Conrad! We got a room upgrade upon check-in, and the room was spacious and bright with top-notch amenities. The bedding was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep, and the toiletries were Byredo. Our butler, Melody, provided thoughtful service, from planning our itinerary to responding to our requests with great attention to detail. It's the Christmas season now, and the entire hotel, from the ground floor lobby to the sky lobby, is filled with a festive atmosphere thanks to the Christmas trees and lights. The Lobby Lounge offers exquisite food and drinks; both the cocktails and snacks were excellent.
