Except for being expensive, there is nothing wrong with it. The hotel is owned by Dilmah, a famous tea brand in Sri Lanka. The whole hotel is on a cliff, so the beach is relatively weak, with only two small beaches, but it is a surfing paradise. The room density is very low, and the privacy is excellent. There will be a welcome drink when you check in, and you can order coconut or juice beer. The suite is very large, especially the bathroom, and the shower room can also be used as a wet steam room. Breakfast is ordered, with many choices, but they are all Western style, and the fruits are delicious. The room service is very good, and the towel elephants folded on the second night were so cute. I actually saw many peacocks walking in the hotel. The picture of animals and humans living in harmony is very interesting~

Very beautiful hotel, the bed is facing the pool, the sea is under the pool, the rooms and toilets are very large, everything is upscale. Bathing brands are very upscale. The most satisfying and luxurious hotel during the whole trip! Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful time.
The staff welcomed me with a smile.
The infinity pool visible from the lobby was breathtakingly beautiful.
Although I only stayed one night, I had a very relaxing and enjoyable time.
There was so much food, there was more variety than I could eat and it was all delicious.
Next time I would like to try the spa.

The unique Ahungalle Beach has unbeatable sand, beautiful sunset and first-class scenery. There are so many kinds of food that you can't take your eyes off. I will stay here again next time. The only drawback is that the toiletries are placed in a ceramic jar, which is very easy to break...

The best of the five-star hotels we live in in Sri Lanka. The thick colonial style rooms are all independent villas. Both the twin rooms and the big bed rooms are very good. The most favorite is the gauze mosquito net. It is very romantic. The room is full of porcelain ornaments and oil paintings. It feels like a room. Antiques. We went early the next morning, the hotel arranged for us, and the breakfast was very intimate.

The location of the hotel is away from the city which is very relaxing for honeymooners . The staff are very kind and helpful. I even got sick and they called a Doctor and brought to our room.
Ushadi and Chanaka have a very good welcoming and respectful.
The Rooms are always clean and tidy, we even tried their Landry service: it was Class A.
Highly recommended!

The hotel service is very good, the breakfast is delicious and the room is chic and warm. Going out is the lighthouse and the ancient city wall, you can go home and ring the bell, very retro and interesting. Unfortunately, the time is in a hurry, I really want to stay here for a few more nights! I will still choose it next time!

房間總體不錯的，高檔民宿。整個民宿衹有三間房，如果是幾個家庭都給包了，感覺還是蠻不錯的。性價比角度有點不咋樣，貴，服務角度其實就倆人，無論是服務速度還是溝通效率，跟正規酒店差的不是一星半點。比如早餐，我們六個人，要6份煎蛋，一個人端盤子+一個人煎蛋。可以想象一下需要多久.....

Frankly speaking experiences are not unambiguous. On the one hand very beautiful and comfortable. A wonderfully thought-out territories, swing and tarzanka on palm, all aesthetic, responsive and kind staff. But as always there is ”but,” there was no declared TV in the room, allegedly broken and in repair, the room didn't work now - there were no batteries, hot water from the boiler, it is 30 liters, warms for a long time. For a whole holiday probably not, as Talpe is in kilometers 6-7 from Unavantuta, not very convenient, tuck tuki at all do not take orders from there, and with hand the cost in 2-3 once more. The hotel is located far from the center. When booking, I paid for the most expensive room with a sea view, as a result, upon arrival they tried to move me to the highest floor under the roof in a small room; the room had a strong smell of dampness. I went down and explained that I had paid for the most expensive room from the website and asked to be moved, my request was fulfilled. In general, the hotel is not bad, with a beautiful view, the food is delicious, they even made me a dish that was not on the menu, they asked if I wanted to dance in the evening, they took me to the center to a restaurant by the ocean where there was live music and dancing in the evening, they asked me to write when to pick it up and They arrived and brought us back to the hotel absolutely free of charge. I travel very often and move from one hotel to another, from one part of the island to another, in order to see everything as much as possible, and not sit in one place, if I like the hotel, I usually extend it for another one or several days, the website says check-in after 14 check-out before 12, the next day I was still sleeping in bed, from 9 am they started knocking hard on the door and trying to get me out of the room, different people came several times, at that moment I felt scared, they were knocking hard on the door, I barely had time to pack my bag and take a quick shower. To clarify why they kicked me out of my room in the morning, when I still have two hours until 12 o’clock, they told me on WhatsApp that check-out is before 10 am and they need to have time to prepare the room for the next guest, but no one told me about this before I didn’t report and the website says until 12 o’clock, so I’m giving a low rating for the service, it was very unpleasant, I’ve never seen anything like this in any hotelFromSEK 483
