It is far from the city of lakes entrance, but the whole house is more comfortable. Since we will stay late, the hotel said that it sent a message to the mobile phone, but it has not been able to receive it. After many calls, we can finally receive the check-in guidelines for non-working hours.

It is a holiday villa suitable for families or friends to gather and play. The kitchen supplies are complete, and the yard can be barbecued. The location is a bit remote. The room is still relatively clean and tidy. It is a good experience.

Overall, we were pleasantly surprised. Excellent service. Answered phone instantly when I requested a late check in and made arrangements for that to happen. Great location on hill overlooking water and waterside park. Unit, balcony, BBQ and pool area well maintained and clean. Pool was heated but did not get a chance to swim as went to nearby hot springs instead. Had blinds to block out the sun and also some nice sheer curtains. Furniture was good quality and tasteful with attractive and interesting wall decorations, including hanging plants. Room was large with a dining table and a coffee table. Bed was comfortable. 2 types of black tea, coffee and milk provided. Easy access private parking out the back.

Great place to stay in this split level apartment located in the lovely quiet town. The place is well equipped with full kitchen, spa bathroom, second toilet, washing machine and swimming pool. You can enjoy the sunset at your balcony or walk 3 minutes for sunset and sunrise. The shops are just around the corner of this place. The bonus is you can wash your car in the driveway.

Disappointing — Not the Taj Experience I Expected
I stayed one night at Taj Cape Town and, having stayed, worked, and studied at other Taj properties worldwide, I left feeling that this hotel does not deliver the signature “Taj” experience.
Location: Excellent — centrally located and convenient for business and sightseeing.
Rooms: Very good. The guest room was well-appointed, comfortable, and met the standard I expect from a five-star property. No complaints on accommodations.
Food & Beverage: Below expectations for a Taj. The breakfast buffet was serviceable but average — acceptable for a quick meal, but nothing memorable in terms of variety, presentation, or quality. The on-site Asian restaurant is extremely small (about five tables) and suffers from poor ventilation: the exhaust does not appear to function adequately, so the space quickly fills with an oily cooking smell that lingers and detracts from the dining experience. The food itself was below the quality I would expect from a Taj-branded restaurant.
Service & Brand Feel: This is where the hotel most noticeably misses the mark. While staff were professional, the overall atmosphere lacked the warm, polished service and attention to detail that distinguishes other Taj properties I have experienced. It felt more like a standard city hotel operating under the Taj name rather than a hotel delivering the full Taj brand promise.
Value: Concerning. The hotel charges approximately INR 2,000 per day for parking — a steep add-on that should be clearly communicated up front and factored into the overall value proposition.
Summary: The location and rooms are strong points, but the average breakfast, a small and poorly ventilated Asian restaurant, and an overall absence of the characteristic Taj hospitality leave this property short of expectations. If you are seeking the classic Taj experience, this particular hotel may not meet that standard.FromUS$116

The room is very, very beautiful, and it is the most satisfactory accommodation this time. Table Mountain is right in front of the window, which is really beautiful. The sunrise, sunset, and night view are nothing to say. I want to live in a fairy tale.
The service is very good! ! I don't know why some people say that the review is not good! ! I am a girl traveling alone, and I dare not go to the city center by myself. The hotel lobby manager specially walked with me to the station and took pictures for me along the way. We became very good friends.
The whole hotel reveals the luxury of the old brand. From the entrance to the lobby to the port in the backyard, it is so beautiful. I think it is much better than the 1w one night next door, and the view of that house is blocked.
The buffet breakfast is also superb! ! There is an oyster buffet... It is perfect for an oyster head like me. I like to eat a barbecue, but the degree of roasting is different the next day, and the kitchen specially roasted some again for me.
There is a fine dinning downstairs. The chef/owner is a lady. There are many cultural interpretations in the dishes, which is very good. One dish was made to entertain Michelle Obama. I was surprised that feminism is also rising here.

I chose Pullman for my conference in Cape Town this time, and it made my stay incredibly hassle-free – perfect for business travelers!
The location truly deserves high praise. My conference venue was just an 8-minute walk away, so I didn't have to rush in the mornings. My daily commute was completely stress-free. It's right in the city center, and from my window, I had views of the city skyline and streets. At night, the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic ambiance with expansive views of the city lights and street traffic below.
The hotel's internal restaurant has a very comfortable atmosphere. The decor is modern and minimalist, with clearly defined sections for sofa booths and individual tables. The lighting is soft and pleasant, and the combination of carpets and greenery adds a touch of quality. It's suitable whether you're just having a coffee alone or a casual meal with others; it never felt noisy or crowded. The breakfast selection was especially rich, with a full spread of hot and cold dishes, fruits, and beverages. The highlight was the made-to-order omelet station, where you could customize your omelet with various fillings – fresh and incredibly tender. There was also a coffee bar where I ordered a layered latte with dense foam, which was perfect for an invigorating start to the morning.
The kitchen and food pick-up areas were well-organized, and the floors were clean. The staff were friendly and refilled items promptly, so I didn't have to wait in long lines during breakfast. The public areas are thoughtfully designed, with tasteful wall decorations and premium-looking hotel brand counters. The lounge areas have plenty of greenery, creating a relaxing and un压抑 atmosphere.
My room was on a high floor, and the soundproofing was excellent; with the windows closed, I could barely hear the traffic noise from the street below. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided great natural light. Overall, the facilities are well-maintained, and the hardware is up to par. All the amenities needed for a business trip are available, making it suitable for both short conference stays and longer visits. This is not my first time visiting this place but this time I don’t want to lie I was very disappointed.
I got charged 200 rand cause my pillow had oil(hair oil) I have braids on and additional to that they said there was blood on the sheets which was so weird cause I did not bleed
Mind you this blood was only mentions after I told them that I will come back tomorrow cause paying 200 Rand for small smudges of oil on the pillow cash didn’t make sense then the receptionist went on to say we saw blood
Then they said there was food sauces as well ..I mean I’m staying there and I was here for 2 nights ain’t no way am I going to leave the place spotless
But the receptionist was just being rude which was unnecessary
Like I said this wasn’t the first time coming here
I always come and never have I ever gone through this even after staying for more days with friends

The hotel was out of this world.The staff were friendly and extremely helpful .The hotel’s cleanliness was breathtaking .My room was nice and spacious The hotel bar has an outside are where you can chill and have a cocktail .The hotel also has a restaurant,you don’t have to order in or go out to eat because the food was very good .I cannot wait to be back and experience the pool areaFromUS$92

Would I stay at this hotel again? My answer is no. First, it's located on some kind of pedestrian street, which is very noisy in the evenings and at night. There are a lot of homeless people walking around and sleeping right on the street, so you don't feel very comfortable in this area.
Second, there was a group from Russia staying there, and two of them had money stolen—one from their safe, and the other from their suitcase. I don't know how that situation was resolved.
The breakfast was average, nothing amazing, but decent for the price.FromUS$65

Advantages: It is close to the waterfront, the room is okay, and the space is large, with a separate living room.
Disadvantages: Although it is close to the waterfront, the front and back buildings perfectly block all the landscape, and the waterfront and the Table Mountain cannot be seen. The worst part is that the hot water in the room is not automatic. My partner and I turned around for a long time and found a button. The water wasted for a long time. One person finished washing the other without hot water ... The worse thing is, A 1,000zar deposit was charged. My partner and I forgot to take the deposit when checking out, and they did not remind me. Then we took the deposit bar to retrieve the deposit, saying that the envelope in which our deposit was placed was missing, and we asked him to adjust the monitoring. One of them said that they could not take money from other places, but that the person in charge of the monitoring room was not there. We have to wait for the buddy who checked out the next day to come to work to pay the deposit. We also left our contact information and said that it resolved it and called us, but we did n’t call until the next day. Fortunately, we did n’t rush to rush the plane that day. The next day we went to get the money and the little brother took it out. 1000zar returned to us. I think as a hotel, the deposit bar is the proof that you owe the customer money. No matter where you keep the deposit, it should be returned unconditionally at the first time. If you do n’t lose your envelope, do n’t dare us. Those who check in must remember to take the deposit bar, we are fortunate to save it this time, otherwise they will be hacked. A good business hotel, really more of a 4 than a 3, they clean well, everything is quite new, the room is small, but for two it is quite normal, the location is very good, close to all locations, somewhere you can walk, somewhere you can order a taxi, taxis are inexpensive around the city. It is a 25-minute walk to the Waterfront. Standard breakfasts, but quite enough in the morning. The staff is good, friendly, we have never had any problems. The only thing that bothered us a little was the location of the night club, under the windows, pounding all night almost every day and until the morning, we had to close the window and turn on the air conditioner. Perhaps this is the only minus of this hotel, but there are rooms on the other side, we ended up not changing. A very good option in terms of price / quality!FromUS$74
