At first I couldn't find the way, and the boss came out to pick me up. The boss is very good and very careful to introduce the facilities of my homestay and take me up. I live on the third floor. When I open the door, I feel that I want the comfortable personal space. There are also some aromatherapy books in the room. Very intimate ～ I also introduced me to a lot of Hengchun Kenting to see the place. Next time I come to Hengchun Talk will also stay here ～

Encountered a few minor problems, but the lady boss’s service was too good, and they were all resolved. From a hearty breakfast to a variety of warm tips and introductions. When I finally left, there was a problem with the car reservation, and the lady boss arranged a special car. This service is worth 6 stars

This hotel is located in Kenting's Little Bay, just across the road from Little Bay Beach, and the bus stop is also very close by. The hotel's breakfast spread is fantastic, and the seafood buffet for dinner offers great value for money. The best part is that the restaurant has a window overlooking the ocean (Picture 1), adding a wonderful ambiance to dinner. The hotel's garden is a lovely spot to relax (Picture 2). The swimming pool in the garden was under maintenance, so to compensate guests, the hotel organized some fun activities, like a night crab-hunting trip on the beach. Amanda Hotel is a very special hotel. Although it is a small hotel, there is a lift that is very convenient for the guests with the elderly. We stayed at the Rose suite that continues 2 bedrooms. The hotel also provides the Aladdin costume for renting to the hotel guests during the stay. The indoor swimming pool &the games in the game room are all complimentary. No bidet spray, hand soap, hair conditioner, shower cap, toothbrush, toothpaste etc. but there’s water dispenser on every level so saved us some money from buying bottled water. Overall it is still provide pretty comfortable stay & good base to be at for exploring Kenting & Hengchun. It’s easy to find this hotel. From Taoyuan airport we took Airport Express Train to Taoyuan HSR (High Speed Rail) station & took HSR to Zuoying THSR in Kaohsiung, then took Kenting Express Bus 9189 at bus stop #2 along the road outside of Zuoying THSR station (need to top up enough fare in your Easy Travel card at the station beforehand otherwise pay cash to bus driver). Alight at Kenting Police Substation bus stop (get ready to press the bell once you pass Kenting Arch otherwise driver won’t stop for you) & walk into small lane walk a short distance to the back door of Kenting Coast Resort. There’s a restaurant called Magic Kitchen for quick breakfast a very short walk to the right of hotel front door. We managed to book half day (4-hr) tour with the help hotel receptionist on both days, just tell the driver where you want to go for sighting/experience/food. We paid NTD 2200 for each half-day tour. We actually checked out early in the morning on the last day & did a 4-hr tour of Hengchun old town with our luggages in the car & get dropped off at Hengchun interchange bus station to catch Kenting Express Bus back to Zuoying THSR. But we discovered actually you can deposit luggages at the Hengchun interchange bus station for a fee then walk around Hengchun old town yourselves without worrying about lugging luggages around haha.FromSEK 380

The room type is good and the space is large. Although the location is in the alley. But when you walk out, you will find the busiest street in Hengchun. Eating and drinking are very convenient. There is a restaurant and pub on the first floor of the hotel, where you can order a lot of dishes. From arrival to departure, the service was excellent. The staff and crew displayed warm hospitality and were attentive to guests' needs. Like many hotels in Taiwan, in-room utilities such as toothbrushes and toothpaste are not provided, so you’ll need to bring your own.
Sunshine Liv partners with a scooter rental shop that delivers and collects the scooter directly at the homestay. The rental price is reasonable at TWD 400 for 24 hours, and there’s no requirement to return the scooter with a full tank. The homestay is also conveniently located, with the nearest night market just a 10-minute scooter ride away.
We were delighted to receive a complimentary room upgrade with stunning ocean views! The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The TV offers a wide selection of channels across various genres, catering to different preferences. Additionally, the homestay serves a delightful home-cooked style breakfast.
Overall, we highly recommend visiting Kenting, and Sunshine Liv is an excellent choice for accommodation!

It's a little far from Kenting Main Street. It takes two minutes to drive and more than ten minutes to walk. It's a little inconvenient. You can order food in the room, but it's very expensive. We arrived at 3 o'clock to check in and were told that the room was not ready yet. We were asked to wait a little longer. There was still no notification until 4 o'clock, so we had to go to the counter to ask. They gave 2 people welcome drinks as compensation, but I would rather the hotel should contact us proactively.
There aren't many shops near the hotel, so most activities are done in the hotel. The room doesn't feel too old, and the sauna facilities are well maintained. I'm quite satisfied with it overall. There's a park opposite the hotel where you can park for free. The overall experience is good, and I'd like to stay there again next time.FromSEK 388

The bathtub is very good, with sufficient water pressure and quick draining. The breakfast is simple and is freshly prepared by the owner, Sister Hong, which is very thoughtful. The location is also very convenient because it is right between Hengchun and Kenting. I asked about the motorcycle rental service, but the shop kept saying that they couldn't rent with my international license. Finally, I went to the aunt at ”Haizhijia” next door and successfully rented a motorcycle for a day. Fortunately, it didn't affect my original itinerary. Thank you Sister Hong for your help. The air conditioner in the room was a bit noisy, so I just turned it off at night and slept with the window open and the fan on the lowest setting. The weather now is not very hot and acceptable, but it is hard to say if it is summer season.
In addition, there is a small shop next to it called ”Shiyi”, the food there is very delicious. I would like to recommend where you can have a meal. You can google it for detailed reviews.FromSEK 305

Amazing stay! The whole Family owning the hotel is verz fruendlz and helpful! Every morning, breakfast was delivered to my door, so that I could enjoy it on the balcony with a great mountain view. I also rented a motorcycle directly the hotel, so that getting anywhere in the Kenting area was a breeze. Great experience, and I hope I'll have a chance to come back.FromSEK 421
