Good location, however in the faucet everytime you switch to hot or cold water something yellow spits out every couple seconds. There was a mini bar and we did not touch it yet still got charged for a peach water which I did not use and when I phoned once I got the bill they told me that because it was in my room I was charged regardless if it was touched by us or not. The bed was very comfortable, and I had a great stay. The hot water in the bath was excellent. My only minor disappointment was that no water came out of the showerhead, so I had to wash myself using the faucet below.

Had an amazing stay at Residence Inn! The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds (its on the softer side so you really sink in), perfect for a good night’s rest after a full day of exploring. Most of Calgary’s main attractions are within walking distance, which made getting around super convenient. The hotel also offers self-service laundry, which was a big plus. Washing and drying cost only CAD 3 each, which is very reasonable compared to other places we’ve stayed. Laundry sheets/powder are also available for CAD 4 in the lobby's shop.
Parking isn’t free, but that’s expected downtown. You can choose valet service or park in the next building for CAD 30 per night. If you prefer, there’s also street parking and several parkades nearby - both street-level and underground.
Overall, highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Calgary!FromRUB 13,784

I stayed here for two nights and had a very pleasant experience overall. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The bed was especially comfortable, allowing me to rest well after a long day.
I would like to especially thank Marilyn, who was very kind and helpful throughout my stay. She made the check-in process smooth and was professional and welcoming. Her warm attitude really made a difference.

I used this hotel for a transit layover. I was thinking of just hanging out in the lobby, but then I got scared of the cold and booked a room.
It turned out to be incredibly good! It was clean, had a comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. We also received vouchers for breakfast, which made it feel like great value for money.

I was in Calgary for a conference, and the hotel was booked by my office. There was a slight hitch during check-in, but the front desk handled it smoothly afterward.
Room types at the same price point varied quite a bit. Our room had a sofa bed, making the space feel a bit small and cramped for my liking. I later opted to pay for an upgrade to a suite, which significantly increased the overall space.
Surprisingly, the hotel's location was more convenient than expected. There's a convenience store and a Tim Hortons downstairs, and parking was relatively easy to find. From our room, we could see the ice rink below, which I imagine would create a festive atmosphere when open.
The pool is not large and doesn't have a slide, but it's fine for a quick swim when it's not crowded.

Location strategic as there are fewer homeless people around compared with the 7th Avenue or core shopping area, and I didn't feel unsafe during my stay. It's near Chinatown too. I however do not particularly like this hotel as there's no kettle inside the room, air conditioning is rather strong and couldn't be adjusted except the temperature. Nothing to eat nearby and the restaurant on 2/F requires booking. The hotel doesn't have a character itself. Most ridiculous is that they require a security deposit by really debiting my credit card upon my checkin (usually hotels won't present the card for similar deposit as security).FromRUB 13,437
