The overall hotel environment is great and very quiet. The hotel's location is super convenient, close to both Exhibition Centre Station and Wan Chai Station. You can even use the skybridge directly, so no worries about rainy weather. If you want to go to Tsim Sha Tsui, you can take the Star Ferry, as it's very close to the pier. The hotel's breakfast is fantastic; it's à la carte, with Chinese, Western, and Japanese options, plus some additional items you can order. Personally, I find this more convenient than a buffet. I highly recommend the Japanese salmon set! The in-room dining menu is also excellent. The room is quite spacious for a Hong Kong hotel, with two 1.5-meter single beds, making it family-friendly when traveling with kids. The hotel also provides unlimited complimentary drinks and snacks daily, which is a huge plus! They can even provide milk for children. Overall, it's pretty good, but there's room for improvement in the details. I had requested baby amenities and a cot in advance, but when we got to the room, none of them were prepared. The cot installation afterward wasn't professional either; the bars weren't secured into the mattress, and the bedding wasn't neatly arranged, with the mattress and bed frame showing, which wasn't a very pleasant sight.

The St. Regis has yet to disappoint, especially when it comes to breakfast – it's absolutely fantastic! 👍 My wife and I were here for a business trip (it's perfect for a getaway without kids). At this caliber, the facilities, cleanliness, ambiance, and service are all top-notch. (One small suggestion: perhaps a heads-up about the room's fragrance. Not all guests appreciate it, but it could be moved to a cupboard.) The service from all departments was excellent, especially the concierge. We were going for dinner a short distance away and couldn't find a taxi, so they arranged a hotel car for us. When we returned, they warmly greeted us and asked about our dining experience, which was very thoughtful. ❤️

My stay at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong felt very much like a business-oriented hotel. The property is nice enough and the location is convenient, especially for access to the Convention and Exhibition Centre, which makes it well suited for conferences or work-focused travel. Getting around was still easy, and of course it is Hong Kong, so you are never far from anything. That said, the overall atmosphere did not feel particularly warm or inviting. The experience leaned more toward efficient and functional rather than welcoming, which makes it less ideal for a family vacation or a more relaxed stay. The view was excellent, but at this price point, that is largely expected rather than a standout. The facilities are serviceable but starting to feel dated, most noticeably at the front entrance, which lacks the sense of arrival you would expect from a Grand Hyatt. Overall, it is a solid option for business or event-driven trips, but not a property I would choose for comfort, character, or a memorable leisure stay.

Spent Christmas Eve at this hotel. The lobby and the central hall on the second floor were adorned with tall Christmas trees, creating a festive atmosphere. The room size was decent, clean, and tidy, offering views of the Ferris wheel and some sea. The service was excellent; since I arrived early, they allowed me to check in ahead of schedule. They also helped carry my luggage to the room upon check-in and to the side entrance when I checked out.

Each time you living in Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, Each time they surprising you. I assumed the best harbor view at the Regent or Rosewood, even new Kimpton. But the Room503 is opposite to central Christmas tree, with both statue square and harbor view. It’s wonderful!! And also theirs employees are very very hospitality. I’m grateful for Miss River very much, who work for front desk(sorry her name is too long I can’t spell it), Rafa and her boss belong to in room dining department and Kevin who work for concierge. Happy new year and see you later.

Every detail and service at Mandarin Oriental was incredibly satisfying. Before checking in, I requested an early check-in, and upon arrival, I was able to go straight to my room, even before 12 PM. The front desk lady provided excellent service; she immediately brought out warm hand towels and hot tea during check-in, which truly made it feel like a vacation. On the 24th, during breakfast, the guy delivering coffee greeted me with ”Merry Christmas” right away. Everything felt absolutely wonderful. It definitely surpasses The Peninsula!

Wow, I had a fantastic stay at the four seasons in HK. The arrival greeting, checking and personnel who greeted us were all fantastic. This was our final stay after 7 weeks away and I couldn’t ask for a better and more glorious end to our trip.. The room was perfect, a perfect harbour view, the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on, and that’s coming from a chronic insomniac, and the attention to detail was phenomenal. The blackout blinds, the quietness in the room, the level of cleanliness, no detail was overlooked. I can’t praise you highly enough. I actually missed our first night booked due to a time change error and that was a shame as I would’ve valued another night sleeping in those comfortable beds. Will I be staying at four seasons again, absolutely, can’t wait. Btw where can I get that bed for my home? More organisations could learn from your level of custom care and service.  Nancy

A rather stylish boutique hotel. The 'lobby' and front desk on the ground floor were designed to be incredibly discreet, so much so that when I first arrived, I wondered if I'd come to the wrong place. However, stepping inside, I discovered a hidden gem. The architectural space is visually striking and full of design flair. The guest rooms are presented in a Japanese style, with minimalist and understated decor. The layout is ingenious and well-thought-out, and the entire room is well-maintained, showing no signs of age. The bathroom amenity kit thoughtfully included lip balm and a small makeup mirror, showing a better understanding of female guests' needs than even the Rosewood Hong Kong. Overall, the stay was comfortable and relaxing. Regarding service, the staff were warm and attentive, but there are two areas for improvement: firstly, if they could offer a glass of water or a drink to guests waiting to check in, it would be a more considerate touch; secondly, for turn-down service, if they could proactively remove the paper seal from the slippers instead of just placing them by the bed, the experience would be even more refined.

My stay at The Upper House was nothing short of legendary. I managed to book an incredible package with a massive dining credit at a historic price. The service was flawless—from the unexpected harbour view upgrade to the waived breakfast charge. The design is serene, the Maxi Bar is a generous treat, and the attention to detail is impeccable. While a TOTO washlet would have been the cherry on top, the execution in every other aspect was perfect. It wasn't just a stay; it was a masterclass in value and a truly memorable experience. 96/100.

I originally booked a garden view room, so I was pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a sea view room at check-in. You can see half of Victoria Harbour, which was quite nice. The room facilities are a bit old, but everything you need is provided. The breakfast selection was a bit limited. All in all, it has its pros and cons, but the price is still a bit high. Next time, I'll try to come during the off-season to really enjoy the Victoria Harbour view!

Room type - Grand harbour one plus Good location, very convenient for shopping and dinning to arrive just a minute using hotel lift. Great variety choices of restaurants from food court to fine dining at K11 Musea. Hotel guests can even taking a relaxing walk and running along Victoria harbour view. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional service I received during my recent stay. From the moment I arrived, staff Ken Chui & Jimmy made me feel welcomed and valued, especially Ken sent me handwritten welcome notes, warm gift & thanks for his giving detailed information on my modification request of upgrading room. Every interaction, whether with the front desk, housekeeping & dinning staff, Hotel team's dedication to ensuring a pleasant experience truly made my visit memorable. Thank you for going above and beyond. I look forward to my next stay!

The environment, facilities, service, and location are all excellent. The rooms are spacious, and the sea view from the ocean-facing rooms is absolutely stunning. The Murray, a Michelin one-star hotel, is a luxury property under the Niccolo brand, transformed from the historic Murray Building. It opened in 2018, stands 25 stories tall, and most rooms offer city views. I booked through Trip.com's presale for about HKD 1800 per night, which included a HKD 300 F&B credit within the hotel. The N1 Deluxe Room is 47 square meters, which is quite spacious for Hong Kong. The room provides four bottles of VOSS mineral water, a capsule coffee machine, welcome fruit, and chocolates. They even surprised me with a cake for my birthday. During check-in, they offered towels and tea, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The N1 room doesn't have a bathtub, but the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. No need for power adapters; there are **sockets for Chinese plugs. The F&B credit couldn't be stacked or used at Cotton Tree. We opted to use it for in-room dining service. Turndown service each evening included TWG tea bags and chocolates. Minor hiccup: Around 11 PM, there was a water pressure issue, and they compensated us with chocolates the next day. Overall, it was still a good stay. It's located right next to the Peak Tram station, and the hotel is situated between Admiralty and Central MTR stations. They offer a complimentary shuttle service (advance booking required).

I had a really great stay at The Murray, Hong Kong. The room was genuinely spacious and the amenities were excellent; everything felt comfortable and well thought out. A special thank you to Teresa Li, the Guest Relations Manager, who looked after us at check-in. She was warm, professional, and made the whole arrival feel effortless. Also worth mentioning: the staff across the hotel were consistently fantastic, from the lounge team to the breakfast lobby. Service was attentive and friendly throughout. I’d happily stay here again.

The location is great, I always stay here whenever I visit Hong Kong. The rooms are a bit old and have a slight musty smell, but the cleanliness is good. It's a 5-minute walk from the China Ferry Terminal and Avenue of Stars. The Star Ferry Pier is right next to the hotel, and 1881 Heritage is just across the street. The hotel's elevator on the third floor offers direct access to Harbour City, making shopping very convenient.

Love everything about this hotel! The location is very nice, even it's not in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui but close enough to walk, ~10mins for walking to Tsim Sha Tsui. K11 Art mall is in the middle on the way from hotel to Tsim Sha Tsui so we stopped by for popular tea shops, CHAGEE and Heytea, everyday during our stay in this hotel. We booked premier room to enjoy the sea view and it's worth it! The hotel is located on the Mody road which have a beautiful Christmas decorations that can be seen from our hotel room, Avenue of Stars is also across the road. Room is true to pictures, all amenities are provided everyday, all staffs we met are easy approach and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone who's looking for luxury hotel in a budget!

The breakfast was excellent, very satisfying, and the dining environment was great. The breakfast manager was also very enthusiastic. The hotel's location is superb, close to both the subway and bus stops. The room hygiene was also good. The only drawback was the front desk staff's attitude; they were unhelpful and slow to resolve issues. We tried calling room service from our room but couldn't get through, so we went to the front desk to ask for a disposable razor. The English-speaking front desk agent we encountered was impatient, perfunctory, and even tried to send us back to our room to call room service ourselves. Shouldn't this be something the front desk could easily assist with? After we explained that no one was answering the phone, she coldly stated that a razor would cost 1 yuan and that someone would bring it up later. Do guests staying at a hotel really care about a 1 yuan disposable razor? Her comment felt very off-putting. Moreover, no one ever delivered the razor to our room, making us suspect that the front desk never communicated our request to room service. The front desk training definitely needs improvement.

The hotel is located in the city center and close to shopping areas in Causeway Bay. It is also close to the Causeway Bay metro so it is easy to travel around Hong Kong. The hotel is clean, and Ms. Chalette, the staff member, was helpful throughout my registration. My room is on the 34th floor, close to the swimming pool. However, the pool is closed due to the weather. The gym is on the B2 floor, which is in the basement area. I haven’t checked the gym, though. To get to my room, I have to change the elevator on the 31st floor to another elevator.  The regular elevator is slow but the elevators from 31 to 34 are fast. My room is big with a high ceiling, and clean. There is a big bathtub in the room as well. The view is awesome which is Victoria Harbor and Victoria Park. However, the heater in the room didn’t work properly so it was always colder inside. Overall, except for the heater that didn’t work, and the slow elevator, I do enjoy my stay here. If it is not expensive, I might stay here again.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Hotel Kowloon and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent — conveniently situated with a bus stop right in front of the hotel and surrounded by a variety of restaurants, making it easy to explore the area and find dining options. The room was spacious and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom, as I noticed a stray hair that appeared to have been left from a previous guest. I believe this is an area where the housekeeping standards could be improved to ensure a more consistent level of cleanliness. Despite this minor issue, my stay was generally enjoyable, and I appreciated the convenience and comfort the hotel provided. With slight improvements in cleanliness, this hotel would be an even better choice for travelers seeking comfort and accessibility in Kowloon.

The room was quite small, which is understandable given the affordable price. They put us in room 1517, and I could hear everything from the neighboring room, including someone showering and coughing, which seriously disrupted my sleep 💤. It was also inconvenient that there was no power outlet in the shower room for a hairdryer or straightener. I wonder why they designed it that way? Perhaps because they cater to a lot of tour groups, the front desk staff barely looked up or made eye contact. I guess you get what you pay for. Also, the carpets really need to be replaced.

My stay at the Ramada Hong Kong Grand was incredibly satisfying, offering excellent value for money. I checked in on the 22nd and checked out on the 23rd, and even though it was close to Christmas, the room rate was very reasonable – it completely exceeded my expectations. The hotel's location is super convenient, with various transport options nearby. It was easy to catch a tram, explore Causeway Bay, or visit Tsim Sha Tsui. Right downstairs, there are all sorts of authentic local snacks and specialty restaurants, so you can just wander around and try Hong Kong's local cuisine. The hotel's buffet is what I want to praise the most – I highly recommend it! It only costs a few tens of dollars per person, which is even more cost-effective than grabbing a bowl of beef brisket noodles outside. The selection is extensive, a great mix of Chinese and Western dishes, with seafood, hot dishes, and desserts all available. The ingredients were fresh and clean, the environment was tidy, and the taste was also excellent. The buffet restaurant also has an outdoor balcony where you can enjoy the breeze and the night view while dining, creating a fantastic atmosphere and a wonderful dining experience. Overall, this hotel excels in terms of transportation, dining, and convenience for sightseeing. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the prices are affordable. At around 1500, the quality is comparable to a five-star hotel in mainland China. Both the facilities and services are excellent, and it's very clean. For Hong Kong's city center, the room isn't too small; you can easily open a large suitcase. The location is superb, right next to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. There are tons of great food options and shopping malls nearby, making it convenient to get anywhere. The MTR connections are extensive, and many places are even within a 10-20 minute walk. This was my second stay here. My first stay in August '24 overlooked Victoria Harbour, but this time I had a city view in the opposite direction. **Environment:** Both room views are great in their own way, as long as the weather is good, they're fantastic! **Facilities:** As per regulations, they don't provide free bottled water or disposable toiletries. No big deal, there's a Wellcome supermarket and a 7-Eleven right across the street. It's super close to the West Kowloon High-Speed Rail Station, Austin, and Kowloon MTR Station. It's also convenient to walk to China Hong Kong City, Harbour City, and Tsim Sha Tsui. Public transportation is also readily available. **Hygiene:** To get your room cleaned, you need to hang the 'make up room' sign on the doorknob. If you don't, it won't be cleaned. **Service:** Both times I stayed here were to attend an event at AsiaWorld-Expo, and both times I checked in first and then met up with my companion. I recall getting a free room upgrade on my first visit, so I booked this time without hesitation. However, this time during evening check-in, they said the reservation wasn't under my name and I couldn't check in. Okay, I've had this experience before; in late December, a booking agent also made a mistake with the name, and I was able to modify the information on the app immediately. The front desk staff member quickly motioned for me to step aside so I wouldn't disturb others (the problem was it was past 10 PM and there was no one else behind me). Then I understood he meant that even if I modified it, he wouldn't look at the information on the app and had to wait for the platform to notify him. Okay, I went to the lobby sofa and called Ctrip customer service. A few minutes later, they notified me online that the information modification was successful and they had contacted the hotel. I went back to the front desk, and another staff member served me, checking the system again and telling me that without my information, I couldn't check in. I was extremely annoyed. I continued to call Ctrip again, asking if the modification was successful and where the hold-up was. Ctrip customer service replied again, saying they had communicated with the hotel, and a front desk lady said I could check in. Then, with my phone on speaker, I went to the front desk for the third time, and that lady said their process was rigid, but I could check in now. What kind of attitude is that? They clearly don't see any problem with their behavior. Please, I understand you value procedures, but can't you approach this with a problem-solving mindset? Instead of saying this isn't allowed or that's incorrect? You wouldn't look at my booking information on the mobile app, you wouldn't look at the modified information, and you ignored me when I told you Ctrip customer service had confirmed with you about adding a guest. What do you want? If it wasn't for the cancellation fee of one night's stay, I really wouldn't have wanted to stay. No one wants to throw money away, so I'll be more careful when booking next time. Fellow readers, please consider this yourselves.

Stayed one night at the Alva Hotel, and overall it was quite good, definitely recommend it. The room was very comfortable, and the bed was just right—neither too soft nor too hard. I have to praise the shower; the water pressure was excellent, making for a really refreshing wash, and the hot water came on quickly. Felt completely re-energized afterwards. The location is decent; it's about a seven or eight-minute walk to the subway station. Not super close, but acceptable, and a nice little stroll. The biggest plus was the concierge staff, who were genuinely enthusiastic. When I arrived, I realized I'd left my wallet on the bus. They helped me call the bus terminal and guided me through the next steps with such a great attitude. It felt very thoughtful and thorough. Summary: A comfortable and reassuring stay. The room size was quite generous, perfectly adequate for two people plus luggage. The service was attentive, and it offered great value for money.
