Fabulous snorkeling just on the shore of the hotel. Black tip sharks, fish of all colors, beautiful coral. Amazing Infinity pool with swim up bar. Super room with great view. Everyone has a big smile. Great beach. You need to be semi fit as there is a lot of stairs but it is so worth it for the view. Food for lunch and dinner is great and reasonably priced. The only negative is the breakfast… it is really not great. Worsr than breakfast at 2 stars hotel.

Great villa, so peaceful and quiet but just a short ride away from the action. They give you a private phone to call and they can take you round the island (as part of the package) and answer your questions and help with anything you need. Food delivery options were amazing so even though you’re not super close to restaurants they can bring it to you. Clean with everything you need, coffee machine, microwave all kitchen utensils. They even left some beers in the fridge for us to drink :) thank you!

Not recommended to stay here. The room isn’t comfy enough to sleep. Air-condition was very noisy and the bathroom wasn’t working well. There are lot of staffs around but helpless. Only thing staff could do only says “Sorry”. They can’t fix anything cause management set the rule up very restricted. We have problem alot about the transfer car. It’s not cover the timing of ferry. Beach was nice. Food was okay. Better just to visit for sunbath. cause the tour boat will take you there anyway to see the turtle. Even we paid to stay there. They still asked you to pay for snockling anyway. Not worth it

We paid for an upgrade from a Sea Balcony Room to an Ocean Balcony Room, but the view of the beach was very poor. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend paying for the upgrade. The hotel offers several activities like kayaking. They help you rent a scooter since the hotel is located far from town. There is a transfer service to the city center three times a day. The beach is one of the best in Koh Tao.

The location is nice and quiet, walking distance to other restaurants through the beach. The beach is very nice, clean and good for kids especially when the tide is low. Our Cabana was spacious, beautiful, although a bit dark. The water pressure was low and we didn’t have hot water. We asked them to fix it but it didn’t happen on time before our check-out. We stayed for two nights. The pool has a waterfall, and it looks a little run down. Nice view to the sea from the pool, though. The breakfast (included) was ok. Fruits, bread, but not many options for vegetarian/vegans in the menu. Dinners were good. Overall, a beautiful hotel, kind staff, great location, maintenance response could be better.

Cape Shark Villas is a complex of villas with hotel service (daily cleaning, free scheduled transfer to the pier, food ordering to the room). We stayed at C1 Deluxe Villa (with a pool), 6 people. The accommodation was in two buildings - the main villa C1 (with two bedrooms, a gazebo, a veranda and a pool) and the guest house C1 nearby. The villa is located next to the reception - convenient when moving around the island by taxi or by hotel transfer. You can walk down to the sea in 3-5 minutes, but the climb back is quite steep. If you travel by bike, then the location on the mountain has only advantages! Excellent views, quiet and amazing privacy with nature! A squirrel, a crab, a small snake and a charming large gecko lived next to us. At first, such a neighborhood was a little shocking, but in 3 days we became friends with them. No need to be afraid - these are additional emotions and memories. Overall, we liked the villa, it was comfortable, clean and at the same time very colorful. Wherever you look, there is a great angle for a photo shoot. We will be happy to stay here next time. Of the minuses - only one bedroom has a sea view and in October there was a warm pool.

It is difficult to travel without a motorcycle. You can take a boat to Nangyuan Island or rent a kayak at the seaside hotel. You can watch the sea while lying on the bed in the cabin. There is an independent platform facing the sea. Bathing is outdoors, which is suitable for friends who like nature. The nearest motorcycle rental shop to the hotel recommends lightning avoidance. The car is in very poor condition and cannot go up and down the slope. Don't pledge your passport. If there is a small problem, a bunch of people will come out with big iron bars. They want some money for such a small matter. In the end, it was the front desk receptionist of the hotel who helped me get my passport back. Thank you very much for his help

We stayed at the hotel in mid-May, it is not the season, there were few guests at the hotel. The hotel provides a free transfer from and to the ferry. It is not long to get to the hotel, just cross the island. The hotel is located on a steep cliff, at the top there are several buildings, and bungalows on the slope, in several tiers. The climb is quite steep, you do not go to your room from the beach - all movement is along endless stairs. Even lower there is a public road along the sea, along which sometimes a lonely motorcycle passes, behind it, hanging over the sea, is the hotel pool, from which there is a path to the site with an entrance to the sea. However, during our stay this site was not working, on the path to it there was a blockage: there was construction work there, they were also carried out by the pool. The bar by the pool was closed, water was pouring from the shower, but there was no shower head, but the toilet was functioning! If you walk 300 m along the road to the right and go down to the sea - there will be a small bay where you can sunbathe and swim. Right from the shore there is a large coral reef, so the bay serves as a starting point for snorkeling. The room is clean, quite old in furniture and design, but the TV is new, air conditioning and refrigerator work well. The bathroom is not very big, the plumbing has already outlived its usefulness, and there is very little light. The room itself is a good size and an even larger loggia with a couple of chairs, which together with the panoramic windows creates the feeling of a very spacious room. The view from the loggia to the sea is simply fantastic, because you are at a great height! And we got a corner room, the view opened in two directions! Of the disadvantages: a resort hotel, but they forgot about drying towels and clothes. You have to dry things on chairs. An attempt to hang shorts to dry on the railing ended with them being searched for the next morning in the thickets of bushes under the hotel. A hotel employee helped, a plus in the column about the staff's work. There is no general Wi-Fi network and you need to register in each zone: if you are near the router, everything works fine, but there are a lot of dead zones. Our room was like this, we had mobile internet, but the big new TV didn't work, because it received a signal via Wi-Fi, or rather, it didn't receive it. Of course, the staff couldn't solve the problem with the non-working TV. The hotel restaurant is very nice, with all-round glazing and a gorgeous view on three sides. The food was worse, a minimal buffet plus eggs in different variations to order. On the first day in the morning there were a little more people than usual, apparently a small group of German tourists was leaving, there was some chopped mango on the buffet, which ran out with them. We asked when they would bring more, and received the answer that there would be no more mango. We had an emotional conversation with the hostess in the restaurant: mango was suddenly found... During the other two breakfasts it didn't appear at all: apparently, during our first breakfast, supplies for several days were finished. The pancakes were undercooked, the coffee and tea were from a barrel, you just can't drink them! Hot dishes are minimal and they don't bring new ones. We had dinner at the restaurant of the neighboring hotel (View Point Resort), it is located on the seashore, to the left along the road. The restaurant has quite reasonable prices, restaurant quality and service, works for everyone, is marked on Google maps (The Cape). On the same road, 200 m away, there is a small family store where you can buy water, beer, chips, etc. Prices are like in a local 7-Eleven, and in a local 7-Eleven they are a third higher than on the mainland. If you go this way during the day, then after passing through the hotel you will go to the shore and moving to the left along the beach, stones, and through the Happy Monk bar, and then along the footbridge towards solid land, you will find yourself in a local village around a fairly large bay with hotels and diving centers. There are several ATMs, a real 7-Eleven and many small local restaurants. This path can only be done during the day, but not at night. Overall the hotel left a good impression, the sea view makes up for many of the shortcomings and we would stay there again.

We stayed two nights which was enough for us. Outdated rooms, but big beds that were comfy. Unfortunately had to move rooms halfway through due to availability. Location not too bad. No hot water one night. Tv did not work.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely come back. The location is great – you can easily rent a scooter directly from the hotel at a good price. If you prefer walking, it takes about 20 minutes downhill to reach the lively area with lots of restaurants, bars, and shopping options. Our villa with sea view was absolutely beautiful and worth it. The view was stunning, the room was very clean, and housekeeping came every day. Breakfast was tasty and had everything you need, even though it wasn’t very varied. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely book it again on our next visit to Koh Tao.
