My old bones couldn't handle sleeping overnight at the airport, so I decisively booked a capsule hotel at Haneda Terminal 1. After midnight, with no more trains running, I had to take a taxi from T3 to T1, which cost 1900 yen. Although T1 was closed, there's a special doorbell for hotel guests. You can enjoy a 24-hour bath or shower in a private cubicle. The capsule itself was clean, odor-free, and I fell asleep instantly. The next day, I had to rush off again at 6 AM.

Extremely convenient as it's directly connected to the airport. I felt safe because the women's and men's areas are completely separate. The amenities provided were also very generous. The room is partitioned by a curtain, so I'd recommend keeping a close eye on your belongings.

The lockers were spacious, the bath was nice, and the bathroom amenities were also very easy to use. They had ramen and curry for breakfast and dinner, which was nice. The popcorn was also good with the alcohol. However, it was hot inside the capsule.

This was my first time staying at this capsule hotel, but it was more comfortable than any other I've stayed at. I can understand why the price range is a little higher. In addition to the amenities and cleanliness, it also has a bath, so I feel like I was able to relieve the fatigue of work. One thing is that the location in Akasaka is a little inconvenient, but other than that I have no complaints. It provided a comfortable stay that I would like to use again in the future!

This is my second time to experience a capsule hotel in Japan. It is as clean and tidy as expected, and the shower room is also clean! I highly recommend it to those who travel alone. There are also many girls traveling alone. You need to swipe your card to enter the door when going up and down the stairs, which is very safe.

I absolutely loved this place! It has a great sense of comfort, It was great to come back here every night. It's super close to a lot of stations, easy to go anywhere. So many amenities, the do-it-yourself drinks at night are awesome!!! Lots of options. Massage chairs as well, ice cream! Machine to take out the smell from the shoe! Everyone working there is super sweet (althought I really would prefer all the staff was female as well - there's a lot of male staff). The only other complaints are that everything is plastic and paper cups, so much garbage!!! They could really make it a system of use and clean it yourself for the plates. The elevator can be veeeeryyyyy slow-its only one. And there's no shoehorn!!! So many amenities but no shoehorn which makes it kind of crowded at the entrance sometimes for putting the shoes on.
- Eleonora Del Bianchi
This female-only capsule hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's very safe, clean, and incredibly well-managed. You store your luggage on the second floor, which keeps the sleeping areas nice and quiet. I found the curry offered by the hotel a bit too salty, so I didn't eat much of it. The hotel's location is superb, making it easy to get to the subway station, convenience stores, and restaurants. I would definitely want to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo!

I was personally happy that the drink bar and curry were free. The facilities were clean and the amenities were plentiful. (Not only toothbrushes and brushes, but also cleansing and skincare products. The napkins were a nice touch!) If you're not picky about amenities or the hotel room itself, this is a great option as it means you won't have to carry around much luggage! There were three things that bothered me. 1. The cabin felt stale and had a peculiar smell. However, turning on the exhaust fan quickly cleared it up. 2. The dining area was cold. I agree that a cool room is desirable after a bath or coming back from outside in the summer, but many women, especially, are prone to feeling cold, so I thought it might not have been too much. 3. I think it was just a coincidence, but the towels that were supposed to be in the room were missing. I went all the way to the first floor to get them, but there was no apology or excuse. Well, maybe it's not something worth complaining about, but the fact that they went all the way to the first floor to get them and then said, ”Oh, this is it.” was a bit off-putting. I'm not saying they should apologize sincerely, but since the customer went out of their way to pick it up, I think it would be polite to at least say something like ”I'm sorry” or ”Thank you for taking the time.” (Sorry if it's a hassle.) Overall, it was very good. Unless you're sensitive to minor noises or have a germaphobia, I think you'll enjoy it, unlike a regular hotel.

A nice place near Haneda airport, ideally if you have a flight early in the morning and need a taxi. Comfortable floor beds and amenities like free ramen (1 daily) and unlimited free soft drinks and ice cream.

Send a first review, the positioning of the platform is wrong (the corresponding Google Maps photo is also someone else's courtyard), there is a distance of a few hundred meters, the result of calling the front desk is not very English, this is more pit, search ”THE CITY MAP Ten Pan EAST” and this next to, Otherwise, it is very annoying to drag your luggage. Good place: free hot springs, comics leisure area, public area is relatively clean. Insufficient place: the sleep area is relatively small (maybe I live less in capsules), find the most pitted store.

Generally the hotel is good, location is near the subway about 5mins walk and 7mins walk for JR. It is not facing the main road so its pretty quiet at night. The locker is suitable for hand carry size luggage, bigger size will have to be placed along the path or kept with the receptionist. They offer free storage during the check in day until check out day. One concerning point on hygiene, the towel and door mat are placed together each day for your usage, and placed in the same bin for washing. Some towel are tangled with hairs. The bathroom will be good to have some hooks for clothing.

It’s so easy to find the place. Shibuya Station was 10mins walk. It was my first time experience staying in a capsule hotel. I think I am in love. The bed is so clean, tidy. I love the concept of the room. You get to read books while you’re in the capsule. The shower area is so clean. Amazing! I would definitely come back and stay.

The hotel's location and surroundings are excellent. The only minor inconvenience was having to walk all the way around to access the garden downstairs; I'm not sure if we just missed a more direct entrance. On our second day in Tokyo, we experienced a typhoon with strong winds and heavy rain, but the soundproofing in the room was so good we couldn't hear a thing – it was incredibly quiet. Getting around was also very convenient, as it's close to the subway station, making it easy to reach popular areas like Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Ginza.

Location of the hotel is excellent and is within close proximity to major establishments/shopping areas in the Ginza area. There is a convenient store (”Natural Lawson”) on the ground floor of the building. I booked the Standard Room with Queen Bed as I was worried that the Standard Room with Single Bed would be too cramped. I'm glad I made that decision. At about 20sq.m., the room is spacious and comfortable enough for one person but may be slightly cramped for a couple. Then again, hotel rooms in Japan tend to be small in general. Everything was clean and well maintained, and the amenities were sufficient. The lobby of the hotel is located on the 16/F of the building, and the guestrooms are located from 17/F up, so you get a very nice view of the Ginza area. I didn't try the breakfast on this trip, but I've heard nice things about that. Will definitely try that next time. Recommended.

Our first stop in Tokyo, the Imperial Hotel, brought many pleasant surprises. The hotel's decor has a classic, aged feel, which might not immediately impress at first glance. The bathtub in the room fills up very quickly, perfectly showcasing the Japanese bathing culture. The architectural style is retro, yet it's fully equipped with modern amenities like lighting, smart curtains, and control panels, creating a distinctive blend of old and new. The staff are attentive and polite, and fresh flowers are always on display throughout the hotel, adding to its elegant and vibrant old-money atmosphere. The buffet breakfast is very popular, requiring a queue as reservations are not accepted. However, the quality of the food is excellent, with every dish meeting à la carte restaurant standards. Room cleaning is thorough, making for a comfortable stay. Aside from the somewhat older decor, the hotel excels in all other details, making for a highly satisfactory stay.

When I booked online for the room, I stated very clearly no corner room, but when I discovered my room is nearly at the end, was a bit not happy. The location is 7 mins walk to suidoboshi station. But it's not very near to places like shibuya or Tokyo, a bit disappointed the single room is a bit small, but the milk lotion, liquid cleanser, face wash packet they provided is gd. A bit surprised they don't provide spoon but stirrer. The room is clean, and there is lawson at 2nd floor and laundry service at 7th level. I have taken video of the room but can't attach here, wasted. Near the suidoboshi station are some eateries. They provide one water bottle daily and clean the room daily which is good. If you preferred a clean room, this hotel is apt for u. The hotel provided airport limousine bus to airport but not vice versa

Our family trip to Tokyo was made much easier by this hotel—it was an excellent choice for us. They offer adjoining rooms and sofa beds, which gave us plenty of space and flexibility. The location is another big plus: set within a family-friendly park, it’s just a short walk to Tokyo Tower, great restaurants, and nearby subway stations. One thing to keep in mind: the elevators are split—floors 1–18 and 19–32 are served separately, and access to floors 18–32 requires a key card. So if you’re booking multiple room types, just double-check which floors they’re on to avoid any confusion.

The location is good, right near Ginza 2-chome. However, you have to walk about 7-8 minutes to get to any subway station, and Tokyo in the summer is incredibly hot, so you'll be sweating after just a couple of steps. Remember to protect yourself from the sun and heat! Check-in is on the third floor, and they offer free coffee every day from 2 PM to 11 PM. The chocolate and matcha lattes are delicious. Our two large suitcases fit and could even be laid flat in the room. The room itself was clean, hygienic, and had no strange smells. When I booked this hotel, I mainly saw that the rooms were spacious. Although a bit old, they were clean and had everything I needed. The location is great, near Tokyo Tower, Shiba Park, and right next to Zojoji Temple. The hotel also offers an airport shuttle service, which is very convenient. There's Oedo Station right outside the hotel, and Daimon Station is just two blocks away, both very accessible. On the basement level, there's a Lawson convenience store, making it easy to withdraw cash, exchange money, or top up. It's an American-style hotel with excellent service, definitely worth recommending. I stayed at the Tokyo Prince Hotel for 3 nights this time and had a great experience. Though small, this hotel has everything you need. Its Ginza location is incredibly convenient, perfect for shopping or quickly getting to Narita Airport via the expressway. What truly impressed me is how many features are packed into such a compact space. They have a coin-operated laundry and a large public bath. The room, which I'd estimate at about 20 square meters, even managed to fit bunk beds (1.2m/1.5m), making it very family-friendly. A minor point is that since the hotel is directly above the subway, you occasionally feel vibrations as trains pass. This led to a funny moment when an actual earthquake hit at night, and I initially thought it was just another train going by!

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi Tokyo|1.84km from city center
[HOSHINOYA Tokyo: A Vertical Ryokan Experience] HOSHINOYA Tokyo offers a truly unique concept. It is a traditional Japanese ryokan built vertically within a modern skyscraper, located in the prestigious Otemachi district. It provides a serene, luxurious escape right in the middle of the bustling city, perfectly blending classic ryokan hospitality with world-class modern design. We enjoyed a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the property from 29 May to 31 May. We chose not to make any meal reservations, which gave us the flexibility to simply relax and explore the surrounding city. [Getting There] We travelled from Fufu Hakone via a day trip to Enoshima and Kamakura. We took a direct train from Kamakura to Tokyo Station, followed by a short walk to the hotel, and arrived at around 8:00 PM. To make the transit completely effortless, our luggage was picked up and delivered directly to the hotel by LuggAgent on the same day. [Arrival and Check-In] The hotel is situated in the central business district and distinctly stands out from the surrounding buildings. The discreet entrance completely shields you from the busy streets. Upon entering, staff immediately store your shoes, as the entire tatami-matted building operates on a barefoot or socks-only policy. We were incredibly lucky to catch a traditional jap instrument performance, which is usually reserved for weekends. A designated staff member managed our check-in with welcome snack & tea and escorted us to level 15. A major highlight is the exclusive lounge on each floor, shared by only 6 suites. It functions as a private living room, fully stocked with complimentary seasonal teas, coffees, and traditional snacks. [The Suite] We stayed in the Sakura suite. Rather than trying to describe the beautiful layout in words, I will let my photos speak for themselves. The beds are low to the floor with a mid-level hardness that we found quite comfortable, and each bed comes with two soft pillows. There is also a television cleverly hidden behind a mirror, though it is worth noting that it only broadcasts Japanese channels. We kept it switched off to maintain the consistent traditional ryokan feel. The provided yukata is absolutely superb. It comes as a full set complete with an inner layer, an outer layer, socks, and a small handbag. The material is soft, stretchy, and incredibly comfortable for lounging and walking around the property. [The Top-Floor Onsen] Having a natural hot spring in central Tokyo is a rare luxury. The onsen is located on the 17th floor and features a stunning design where the roof is open to the sky. As cameras are strictly prohibited, you will have to visualise it or check the hotel website for gallery photos. I understand that the bath is a salty hot spring containing a high concentration of seawater and seaweed minerals trapped deep in the ground. Soaking in this soothing water gently embraces the skin and helps alleviate fatigue in both body and mind. The onsen is open daily from 3:00 PM to 11:30 AM. It was the absolute perfect way to warm up and recharge before we headed out for a busy day. [Areas for Improvement] Toothbrush Set: The provided toothbrush is far too small and takes ages to use. I strongly recommend bringing your own.

Review: Remm Roppongi (レム六本木) Our stay at Remm Roppongi was very enjoyable and a great base for exploring Tokyo. The hotel’s location is absolutely one of its biggest strengths — it’s just steps from Roppongi Station, surrounded by restaurants, shops, and nightlife, and in a vibrant part of the city that’s easy to explore on foot or by subway. The rooms are clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed, with free Wi-Fi and comfort in mind. Although the rooms are on the smaller side, as is common in Tokyo, clever layout and features like a massage chair made the space very comfortable for relaxing after long days of sightseeing. One of the memorable parts of our stay was the night view — higher-floor rooms offer beautiful city and Tokyo Tower views, which was a highlight of the experience. The staff were friendly and professional, always ready to help with requests, and check-in/out was smooth. Guest reviews consistently praise how attentive and polite the team is. Breakfast (optional buffet) has a nice variety and was delicious — a great way to start the day before heading out. On the flip side, there’s no bathtub in most rooms, so if you really want a bath it might not be ideal, and the hotel doesn’t have extensive facilities like a spa or gym — but for a city stay where the focus is exploring Tokyo, it’s perfect. Overall, Remm Roppongi offers excellent comfort, great convenience, and a high-quality experience for a business or leisure trip in Tokyo, especially if you value location and a modern, comfortable room to return to each evening.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Exceptional Stay – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Royal Park Canvas - Ginza 6 Hotel, Tokyo, from 5 June to 9 June 2026, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we checked in until the day we departed, the front desk team was consistently warm, friendly, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Their genuine hospitality, professionalism, and willingness to assist with every request made us feel truly welcomed and well taken care of. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant and memorable. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the housekeeping team. They did an amazing job every single day. Whenever we returned to our room, it was always spotless, fresh, and beautifully made up. Their dedication and attention to detail deserve special recognition. The location is simply unbeatable! The hotel is only about a 3-minute walk to the famous Ginza shopping district, where you’ll find countless luxury boutiques, department stores, cafés, and restaurants. It is the perfect place for anyone who enjoys shopping and exploring Tokyo. As Muslims, we were also delighted to find that halal food and restaurants were easily accessible within the area, making our trip even more convenient and enjoyable. Without hesitation, we will highly recommend The Royal Park Canvas - Ginza 6 Hotel to our family, relatives, and friends who are planning to visit Tokyo. In shaa Allah, we will be returning in January next year, and we already know where we’ll be staying. We look forward to coming back and experiencing your wonderful hospitality once again. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so special. We can’t wait to see you again! ❤️
