We visited our new home by chance on an unplanned visit to the cape last Fall. With no serious intent on a purchase, we loved our little private cul-de-sac, but what sealed the deal was our less than 1 mile walk down Deep Hole Rd to our Red River Beach where we watched a beautiful sunset as our chocolate lab bound into and out of the waves. The beach is open off season to pets. And on peak season, Jack Knife Beach, a very short drive away, is open to dogs before 9AM and after 6PM. Brewster dog park is a marvelous contained area to watch them play. We are a very short distance from the Nantucket Ferry next to Brax Landing Restaurant's famous lobster rolls as well as the Cape Cod Bike Trail and Thompson's Field Conservation Fields. Over the past few months, we have totally refurbished our home, and if not relaxing watching tv in our living room, or grilling on our patio surrounded by pines and boulders, are getting perhaps a bit too competitive playing ping pong in our totally new redone first floor tv rec room.
