This is paradise. From stepping off the boat, the service at SAii Phi Phi Village has been nothing short of amazing. The check in process is very simple, there is an app which you download that gives you all the information you need. There is a 24 hour buggy service that you can use on the island and the estimated waiting time is around 2-3 minutes which is brilliant considering how many bungalows there are. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, special shout-out to Toomy who took care of us. The beach is crystal clear, If you want an alternative, you could always take a 15 minute walk to the back of the island where there is Lana bay. On you way there you will have a access to small bars and shops. There is also a wide variety of breakfast options. I highly recommend this resort. Thank you SAii Phi Phi🙂

It's just that the ebb tide is too much, it's a bit inconvenient to get wet on board and get off the boat, and it's really hard to carry luggage and climb stairs. I ’m sorry if you do n’t give it! The environment is still very good! It ’s just that I ’m going to board a plane and it ’s not convenient to get wet. Far islands! It's a bit inconvenient to bring children!

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Relax resort. A well run resort with great attention to detail and organization. A smooth service from the collection at Phiphi pier to your bungalow. Staff are attentive and friendly. Food and drinks have been among the best we have in our few trips to Thailand, both in terms of quality and price. There is great snorkeling along the reef in front of the hotel and a lovely private beach with natural shade for trees. The resort provides free beach chairs, tables and mats.

Jan'23: I honestly DON'T understand the 4/5 star reviews for this property. Most of them attribute it to the beautiful view from the pool. I do agree, the pool is awesome but only if you need to upload photos on IG. Other than that let me tell you some hard facts: 1. Room quality- These are smallest and darkest rooms I have ever been to. Century old furnishing, which feels like it will break down any moment. 2. Non functional AC - An AC which literally takes 45 minutes to get the room to a bearable temperature. 3. Inaccesible location - The property is literally the second last property on the island and away from all the stores, restaurants and bars. You have to walk atleast 15 minutes to get to the Tonsai market which you might need to do atleast 4-5 times a day. 4. Poor service- The staff were very rude and inconsiderate of any request that we had. No luggage carts, no fresh linen and completely non responsive to any request. I had to drag my luggage to the pier while leaving the property. 5. Exorbitant Pricing - I will concede that the pool view was great which is the reason that most people have rated 4/5 stars, but considering that we paid 125 USD for a night stay, you can get far better accommodation on Tonsai Beach with better furnishing and facilities. Koh Phi phi in itself is stunning and you will have far better spots to get those IG likes. Choose wisely.

I really enjoyed my stay there. The location is just perfect and the view from the porch incredible. I don’t understand why so many are complaining and leaving bad remarks. Yes, it’s loud at night and very quiet at daytime, but that’s Phi Phi Island. If you need quietness, don’t choose Phi Phi or don’t expect to live close to the city center and having such amazing facilities and views at the hotel for such an affordable price. The boss is especially helpful, gregarious and friendly. I really relax enjoyed my stay and will come back!

You can’t find a more spectacular location to stay. Our bungalow was number 505 and was on the beach front literally a stones throw to the water edge. The sand is white and water clear just as you see in the photos. Things to bear in mind. Cleanliness was not as good as expected. Under and around our bungalow there were things left behind by previous guests a lot of rubbish, slippers, towels which had been forgotten. The bathroom and shower was outdated and felt old and we didn’t dare use the outside shower as that whole area looked dirty and stained from the wildlife. I had to ask the cleaner one day for a cloth to clean the table outside on the balcony as it was stained from beverages used by guests before us. The breakfast area really was quite gross. I didn’t feel like i was eating in a clean atmosphere. Really basic things like the table cloth on the breakfast bar were stained and tatty. The bar being quite open to the outside had stains from the fauna which seemed to flow in and out at their leisure. Staff were attentive however you never saw anyone cleaning when they weren’t doing anything. Its a pity as it would make the atmosphere much more pleasant. We did encounter some problems with the verandah door not opening and it was resolved immediately. The hotel took full charge of collecting us from our previous hotel in phuket taking us to the ferry port and the boat trip to the island for 1500 baht per person also the trip from the resort by boat to the next hotel in Krabi also for 1700 baht per person. This service is a real benefit because otherwise you have to take several boats and taxis and avoid all the hassle! Also another thing which was fabulous and my highlight of my entire trip to Thailand was the private long boat tour to ko phi phi leh. Not for the visit to Maya beach (however it was included) but for the swimming in the lagoon and snorkeling experience. That was worth every baht! You pay for the boat up to 4 ppl and its 2080 baht for 4 hours. Highly recommended!

We were booked into a standard room by our travel agent - we upgraded as the standard was a tiny room with shower over the toilet. Backpackers style. The superior room, like in above photo was lovely but from street level was 229 steps up a hill. Room was lovely and view was fantastic. Shower had no pressure at all so very difficult to wash hair or clean yourself. Staff were very helpful however and friendly and carried our bags up and down all the steps when we arrived and departed. Cheap to stay at and the upgrade for 2 nights was only approx $25 NZD so well worth it.

This place felt like an escape from the hustle and bustle of town, the staff were so lovely and helpful. The scenery was gorgeous, especially if you like horses. There is a lovely infinity pool to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The rooms were modest yet super clean and comfortable with very effective AC. We were given bottled water and fresh towels every day, they also gave you bananas to feed said horse who was very sweet. We loved our stay here and couldn’t have wished for any better. Please do not be dissuaded by previous, outdated reviews. We would return in a heartbeat.

A very good hotel for this price. Perfect location for a relaxing holiday, great pools. The rooms have minor shoals, but the air conditioners, mattresses, pillows are new. Problems in the shower - the door did not work and the shower did not work very well. Upon arrival, the floor was dirty. But all this is not scary. Very good breakfasts: there are hot dishes, ham, sausages, toast, waffles with honey, fruits and vegetables. Tea and coffee from bags, juice is not natural. Great view from the cafe where breakfast is served. Transfer to the island can be ordered on our Phuket Plus website, we will explain how to have a great time on the Phi Phi Islands

We are a couple in our 40s from Scotland. This hotel deserves more than 3 stars. The staff are so helpful and we got an upgrade to a superior hut as it was my 40th birthday. This is a very peaceful secluded area of phi phi island and good to enjoy the slower life. The food was delicious. There are only a few bars and restaurants in walking distance and these all stop serving at 10pm. The air conditioning is also not the best in the room as with them being huts it’s like a sauna when you first walk in. Please pack plenty of mosquito repellent as I had so many bites when I stayed here. We came over in the ferry and left our luggage back in our Phuket hotel, I would highly recommend bringing a small bag only here as it’s all boat transport. Apart from the small negatives I would not hesitate in returning to this tranquil hotel. Take a boat trip round the rest of the island. Bring Bahts too as there is no atm in this part. Simply stunning location

I booked 2 rooms on Saturday night 3 days before we left on the slower ferry from Phuket Rassada pier £10 each return. The rooms were nearly £70 each but there is a distinct difference in 4/5 star and 3 star on this island price wise. I opted for this 3 star as the higher ratings were too expensive or in the North of the Island. This hotel is slap bang in the middle and it’s perfect for going straight out into the narrow streets to mooch around. It’s was quiet in the evening , you get a free welcome drink and our room had air con and yes the beds are hard but I like it with a bad back. I fixed a light that was hanging down from the ceiling as I am a sparky , the water in the sink takes it time to drain but is fine. Rooms were clean , Shower was nice and hot. Breakfast buffet was lovely with no complaints about the food. The 2nd room the air con wasn’t working but they fixed it whilst we were out. The next morning we went on a boat trip to Maya beach 2000 baht booked and paid at hotel , guy came and picked us up to escort us to his long tail boat. Overall considering I booked it very late for £67 a room it was good. If you book further in advance it’s cheaper. The pool isn’t that big but it’s fine , use the beaches instead. Only 6 sun loungers but use the beaches that is the whole point in going to Phi Phi. They looked after our bags after we checked out to go on the trip , the lady behind the desk was so friendly. My tip if you have a problem is not to overreact , I was travelling with 2 Thais and they showed me this , be nice ti the Thai staff as they will be nice back to you. I would recommend staying at this hotel for 1/2/3 nights as the location is so perfect in the middle of the island. 5 minutes from pier. Beaches are just as close to walk to. Restaurants and bars are right outside the hotel 1 minute away. We had a really good time and were treated well , they send a person to greet you at the pier and to walk you to the hotel. Just look for the sign with the hotel name on it and a person holding it. Thanks PP Palmtree it was a pleasant stay.

We enjoyed our three-night stay at the hotel due to its commanding view of the area, isolation from the main town and arranging private long-tail boats tours. The hotel itself is located a short complimentary (check-in and checkout only) long-tail boat ride away from Ao Ton Sai Pier, which we had to wait a few minutes for after arriving by ferry. Once at the hotel, the staff greeted us and walked us up the several flights of stairs. Luggage is transported up to the hotel on a rail mounted cart. Our two bungalows (Bungalow West Seaview and Grand Seaview) had nice views of the Andaman Sea with lots of windows. The bungalows themselves were rather basic and would align with mid-range to slightly budget hotels. Our room was comfortable, including the bed, with all the features we needed and we enjoyed the bungalow feel with all its windows. I would have a preferred a nicer bathroom, due to the bungalows having a wet shower. The air conditioning was also a little noisy. Overall, I likely would pick the bungalow over a similarly appointed hotel with full bathroom. During our two full days, we hired a private long tail boat for 1,500-2,600 bhat/day (through the hotel). We enjoyed this option as we got to specify our schedule and got to Maya Bay before the tour groups. We also enjoyed snorkeling during our day tour. After the second day tour, I went snorkeling in front of the hotel by Shark Point. On our last morning, I asked the hotel about hiring a long-tail boat to take us to Shark Point and was quoted a 1,500 bhat, which felt really expensive considering it was a few hundred meters from the dock. I tried swimming out to Shark Point again, but the current/tide was too strong at times without flippers. You also need to be careful to avoid stepping on sea urchins. Overall, we would recommend the tours. The hotel itself is situated a 30 minute or so walk from the town center. However, we always took the long-tail boat, which cost 100 bhat/person before dusk and 150 bhat/person after. The hotel was fairly quick about getting long-tail boats to take us into town. However, hiring the long-tail boat by the pier to take us back to hotel was normally slow, as they seemed to wait for other people before departing. On one trip back (after a long wait) the boat left closer to the end of dusk and we got high-centered for a little while, due to the low tide. Typically, we would go into town in the late afternoon for groceries, arrange ferries, etc. and come back to have dinner at hotel next door. During Omicron, the town center was fairly busy near the water front, but away from main street many businesses were closed. I expect they all are open now. I preferred the quieter area surrounding the hotel and would likely choose to stay away from town center even if it meant dealing with expensive long-tail boat trips to town.

The hotel is about 10 minutes walking distance from Ton Sai Bay, Phi Phi Island. The whole hotel is like a garden. The rooms are small and basic facilities are available. If you don't like it, you can go out to eat in the hotel. There is a restaurant right across from the hotel entrance. Many Chinese people have been there. We have eaten once and it tastes good. There are bars and shops all over the small lanes, so you do n’t have to worry about finding something to eat. Hotel swimming pool is small, enough for children

We had a wonderfull time here. Honestly, we were a bit freightened by some of the reviews before we got here, but none of it was true. Excellent location, hospitable host at the reception, clean and nice looking room with all the wood. There was a mistake in our booking that they were more than willing to fix without any additional costs. All in all, the price/quality ratio was great. I would advice them to redecorate the garden though. Although the pool is great, the lack of chairs or couches is rather inconvinient. And all the tiles make it warmer than it has to be.

Where to start! If I could give this place minus ratings I would. Damp rooms smelling like sewage, toilet was unable to flush, the room was filthy and clearly hadn’t been cleaned this millennium. Also heard a mouse in the air vents. We came from a 1 star hostel previously and that had better cleanliness than this place. Whilst the resort boasted a gorgeous sea view this was unable to make up for the horrendous facilities. You’d be better off sleeping on the beach. Breakfast was included… if you can call it breakfast. A few soggy pieces of Ham, some anaemic looking eggs and some questionable noodles made up the buffet. On top of all of this when we politely asked for a partial refund due to the state of the room, we were rudely told that because we had looked at the view and swam in the pool (both included in the hotel) that they were unable to compensate us. What’s worse is that we were spoken to like children and the man was incredibly rude despite us only asking for a partial refund with incredibly valid reasons. If you have any self worth please don’t waste your time with this joke of an establishment. Will not be returning.

The room was big but full of mosquitos and one of the day I left my swimmers drying and when I went to collect there was a cockroach in the bathroom. Everyday I had to go to the reception after the housekeeper because she would forget to leave water, beach towels or refill the shower gel. They leave the towels in the grass very early in the morning and it just seats there waiting until the housekeeper can go in, I believe that what’s caused itches in our body. Breakfast wasn’t really thinking of people that come from other cultures so definitely suggest people to book without breakfast and just go down to town to eat. Water park was not as expected, most of the slides are dangerous and the water inside the swimming pool is dirty I was afraid to catch something if I went inside. Shuffle bus is really helpful and the drivers are very friendly however the hotel keeps letting other people go inside the bus and then instead of having a nice ride which was included on the price of the hotel so we paid for it we felt like they were doing favour for us to be in the bus because there was no space.

This hotel is located at the southern tip of Ko Phi Phi Don. After the ferry arrives at the pier, you need to take a water bus to reach it. It takes more than 40 minutes by land. The hotel is an independent villa type. The rooms are large and clean. It is right next to the beach. Most rooms on the terrace can see the sea. The surrounding environment is very quiet. The beach is very long, but the beach that can go to the sea is not very long. Very comfortable, it's all integrated with the hotel. The hotel has its own restaurant, there are still many choices of food and drinks, and the price is moderate. It is not very expensive. The hotel is mostly European and American, and there are many Russians. It is a holiday. Good place to relax. The service was good and standard. Is the poor network, there is wifi in the hotel lobby, wifi in some places on the beach, I have almost no wifi in the room, domestic mobile wifi has no signal, I hope the hotel can improve facilities in this area. I still like this hotel very much, I will stay there if I have the chance, and will recommend it to friends!

We chose this room because it was the only one that looked nice (to our taste) from the available hotels for these dates, and we also extended it, since we couldn’t t leave due to health conditions. Of course, before booking it, I checked what is available in the room, there is no excess in the form of bathrobes, slippers and toothbrushes. I thought it is the island, probably everywhere, but no. We were not allowed to stay in the room for more than half an hour, there was a storm and we couldn’t leave the island again and checked into another hotel, how surprised I was when, for a fee less than in Andaman, we got a room with a bathtub with slippers, bathrobes, a balcony and a garden on it, and I felt sorry for the time spent in Andaman. It is also very noisy in Andaman, there is a mosque nearby, and conversations can be heard from neighboring rooms

The hotel has many strengths, firstly the courtesy and availability of staff, always careful to ensure that they meet the needs of the clients. The location is also excellent: it is a quiet area where no noises of any kind are heard, a few meters from the sea, and the noise area, reachable by foot, does not compromise the tranquility. We have stayed in the newest rooms of the structure, which we strongly recommend (I recommend selected those at the time of booking, the others are a little old). The cleaning of the rooms and the rooms outside of the room has satisfied us very much, and the rich and varied breakfast served in the morning, which meets all kinds of requirements (pancake, fruit, eggs, etc.). This is a good quality/price ratio, considering the location of the structure is perfect (the largest points of the island - view points, long beach, tonsai, port, etc.) you can reach walking in a few minutes. The hotel also runs a agency, with which we booked a tour of the most beautiful places of the island.

Second stay at this resort, stayed for 5 nights. I don’t recognise any of the negative experiences. Our rooms were spotless and spacious. Air conditioning worked very well. If one thing not perfect would be the firmness of the bed but got used to it. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was sufficient. Freshly made simple omelettes, fried egg or hard boiled. Also toast, fresh fruit, Thai curries and rice. The pool was immaculate and the area clean and fresh. Our balcony area had wooden chairs and table. A few paces to a quiet beach and all very near restaurants and cafes and store. All at a good price. Will happily return.

Firstly the location, the hotel is directly on a beautiful ***** of beach with snorkelling opportunities literally metres into the water. The views of the islands etc are stunning and Ton Sai pier is a very short taxi boat (100B per person Vs the hotel 1,200B per trip) and is a vibrant and buzzing little pedestrian town. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't live up to the environment. It has so much potential but just appears to be run down, neglected and uncared for. Everywhere you look there are endless maintenance jobs that need doing. Worth noting that there is nothing that directly impacts your stay but it just gives the impression of not caring. Broken fences, fascia boards hanging off, every wall or wooden structure needs repainting, what looks like a construction site on one side and a dumping ground on the other. Non-functioning fountains, overgrown gardens, and some villas that look condemned. There seems to be plenty of staff but they just seem to have no one managing them and they were continuously on their phones. I've seen reviews stating the staff were rude and my personal impression is that they are not but they don't speak English very well and this could be misconstrued as rude or not caring. There is a restaurant onsite and even though breakfast is included after day 2 we preferred to pay to eat at one of the neighbouring hotels. Goes without saying that we also ate every other meal at the other hotels. Interestingly even though breakfast is 7am to 10am they have a sign-up inferring that they really want you there between 8 and 9! Would I stay here again? Yes, but not in its current state, the rooms were generous sizes, tidy and everything worked and to its credit, the prices were reflective of the standard of the hotel.

Getting there takes time and you need to plan ahead with flights and boat transfers. We were there during ”off” season, so this information could change during high season. (Check other reviews.) There was not any entertainment, which was perfect for us! We came to rest and relax and enjoy the beach. We read books, swam, walked, ate, exercised, slept. Best vacation ever. 1) When I go to a beach resort, the most important thing is THE BEACH. This beach is gorgeous, the sand is golden, the water is clear and beautiful. The swim area is very generous and cleared of large rocks. No trash or debris. You can also go outside the swim area and snorkel near the rocks that are in front of the neighboring resort. Lots of lounge chairs with a bean-bag type cushion and large umbrellas. If chairs are taken, they also have mats that lay on the ground but with a back cushion. They were very comfortable. 2) The other thing that makes or breaks a hotel stay is the comfort of the bed, and the room in general. The bed was perfect -- not too hard, not too soft. The rooms are individual teak wood buildings and have thatched roofs. The room has air conditioning. The beds have mosquito nets, but I didn't feel like we needed them during our stay. There is a beautiful breezeway porch with chairs and cushions, then an enclosed bathroom with toilet, sink & shower. There is a separate outdoor shower behind a wooden wall. Also an outdoor sink attached to a dressing table with chair and mirror plus outlet. If you have long hair that you usually dry, I would make plans NOT to do so. It is too hot and the hair dryer is not really for styling. (ours only had high setting and it made my hair look crazy) 3) Food/Dining - The resort had a large dining area where an amazing breakfast buffet spread was served daily. We were able to get lattes with several different types of milk (regular, almond, soy). There were western choices and traditional Thai choices. Fresh eggs to order. The other restaurant is on the beach. You can get lunch/snacks and dinner there (special occasions or rain would move to the breakfast area). For dinner there were delicious Thai choices. They also had western/American food, but we ate Thai at all meals except a hamburger & fries once for lunch. 4) Drinks/Alcohol - We're not big drinkers, but I felt they had an adequate range of alcohol to make a variety of drinks/cocktails. I don't usually like sugary drinks, but the ones they serve in the fresh coconut and the fresh pineapple were delicious. They also had a fair selection of wines. We don't drink beer, but they did offer it. 5) Spa/Gym - We had Thai massages that were wonderful. There's a workout room with some free weights and several machines (elliptical, treadmill, rower). Very nice. 6) - Pool - beautiful pool that

Bad hotel. The location seems good as it is very close to the center where the shops and restaurants are, but the truth is it is a terrible location. When passing through a very beautiful and clean reception, they tell you that you must exit and go through an alley to enter the hotel. It is extremely poorly maintained with many flaws in finishing and cleaning. It looks more like a hostel than a hotel. In the bungalow that should be a more reserved accommodation, you hear the noise from all the other bungalows. And everywhere you look there is dust and something broken. There is an air conditioning inside the room, but it's as if it doesn't even have one because it doesn't work. We put it on 16⁰ C and it felt like it was just a fan. We stayed at the hotel for 2 hours and preferred to check out due to all these flaws. At the end, we asked to check out and request a refund for the remaining nights that we did not use. We didn't get a refund, because despite showing how different it was from what was advertised to reality, the receptionist informed us that they don't make any type of refund. This type of hotel is just to deceive tourists who don't know the region and pay a considerable amount for a hotel that isn't worth even 1% of its real value. We feel deceived and robbed.

I personally really liked this hotel and slept well while here. I had a groun floor room with pool which they upgraded for my husbands 40th birthday. The pool wasn't in the sun but that was okay as we went around the main pool while not exploring. Location is fa tantastic. Its far away enough not to here the party's on the beach. You can go wild or have a relaxing night in phi phi. Walked to the view point which was lovely and had some great food near by. For Thailand I think this hotel is a really good option.

Our stay at PP Charlie was amazing. The room was spacious and offered little luxuries we were not expecting like flip flops and beach mats. The tv has access to Netflix which we enjoyed. The resort is close to bars and restaurants but you cannot hear the noise from your hotel room. The pools were refreshing and it was easy to get a sun lounger. The breakfast was good, there was ample variety and always had an option which suited us. The hotel collected us and our bags from the pier and took our bags for us when we were leaving this service was very much appreciated. We would stay here again.

The resort itself is beautiful and the beach is nice and secluded. Downside, to get to town you either have to walk the 20/30 minutes or take a long tail boat (200 baht one way). The room/cabin is beautiful, but unfortunately the home to a lot of gecko's screaming at night as well. The fan in the bathroom seemed like it was leaking sewage water or something and had a terrible smell. If you're not a nature person. Definitely not the place for you, as monkeys, lizards, snakes are all there with you. Some advice, try and keep your cabin door closed at all times and don't forget bug spray. Addition, the resort has massage facilities and scuba diving. The swimming pool on sight is very very small and mostly for children. It's best to just enjoy the beach.

The staff here were very friendly and welcoming. There is water, tea and coffee included in your stay, as well as a towel, which is really nice! The dorm room itself is clean, fresh bedding, and the air conditioning works great at night! There are lockers provided with a key to use, but they are fairly small - making the dorm rooms cramped with everyone’s luggage. The washrooms were gross, in my opinion, and in need of a good cleaning - the one toilet had no toilet paper for both nights I stayed there, and bathroom garbages were full and not taken out either of the days I was there 🤢. There is a bar/restaurant just across from the hostel as well, so unfortunately their music is heard loud and clear in the hostel until at least 1:00am - I understand this is common for Phi Phi, but I stayed away from a party hostel to avoid this. Overall, it is one of the cheaper options on Koh Phi Phi and the staff are great. If you don’t care about washrooms and going to be out late anyways, then this is a good option with a clean bed and good A/C!
