The most satisfying hotel I have encountered in Europe! The location is in Constitution Square, the city center, very lively, the traffic is very convenient, it is very convenient to go to the Acropolis and the pier by boat. Location: Not too close to the Acropolis, about 20 minutes walk, but very close to the subway, easy to find with Google Maps. Almost in the middle, you can walk to every attraction. It's also convenient to eat around. Environment: Overall good, the decoration is pretty good in Europe, it's probably newly renovated, the facilities are new and clean. Disposable slippers are also provided, which is rare. Breakfast: Very good, freshly made, tastes good. You can also have a drink in the tavern downstairs, which is quite cozy. Service: Very enthusiastic.

The location is great and convenient. The room is clean and comfortable. However, since I stayed with a friend, we used a foldable extra bed, but there were no sheets and the blanket had a big stain on it. Also, we didn't receive any information on how to check in until just before we arrived, so I was worried about whether we would be able to check in without any problems after spending a whole day traveling from Japan. I also had a hard time getting used to the Greek style lock. I've written a lot, but overall I'm very satisfied. Everything is within walking distance, and there are a lot of people around until late at night, so it's lively and safe.

The front desk was very nice, and after seeing my name book two different room types, they took the initiative to arrange the two rooms next to each other. All the service staff were very friendly and kind. The room can see the Acropolis, and you can go up to the rooftop restaurant to watch it at sunset and at night. The angle and height are suitable for viewing. It’s just that because it is on the north side of the Acropolis, you can’t see the ancient Roman theater and the gate; another angle can see the Wolf Mountain completely, which also has a beautiful view. Located in the heart of Athens between Akropolis and Syntagma Square it is in a perfect location to cultural explore, go for shopping as well as arrange business meetings. Many restaurants and coffee places, all in walking distance. Main reason to choose Elia Ermou was the room size as it is 20+ sqm, and it has a parking garage in the same building. Further to mention is the nice roof top restaurant in the 7th floor with terrace and Akropolis view. One minor issue to mention is if a little more silence is required a room on the higher floors and not on the Ermou side might be the better choice… Overall verdict, being a globally experienced traveler, 5 stars !

The location is very good, great, great. Airport bus X95, 6 Euro direct, 24 hours. Absolutely central, shopping, attractions, all very close. The hotel is small, but the room is very clean and especially warm in winter. Of course, breakfast is not as good as a big hotel, but it is also very warm. The staple food has a variety of breads, as well as freshly squeezed orange juice. Coffee, milk, eggs, cereal, several kinds of cheese. The front desk and restaurant are especially nice. Of course, the hotel is facing the street, a bit noisy, but I don't care, exhausted, can't hear noisy.

Excellent location and nice room. I stayed at the hotel for two nights. It’s very close to the Syntagna Square so basically one can walk to the main tourist sites easily. The room is well designed, bright , spacious and very clean and is equipped with everything one needs plus hot water came immediately. In addition, what I loved was that the window can be open a bit to let the fresh air come in —- nice circulation. Cleaning lady was friendly and diligent. And the staff at night shift was helpful that he showed me the way to the airport bus when I checked out in early morning.

I've been to Arethusa before, always having a pleasant stay there. This time it was even better as the hotel was renovated (comparing to my last visit which I don't remember when it was). The big plus of the hotel is its location. You get a stay at the very center of Athens in an excellent cost. Room was nice always clean and shining. Staff was really helpful, polite and very friendly! Breakfast could be improved but considering the overall cost it was quite okay. I'll definitely come again.

The hotel is located near a busy road. The hotel is located within walking distance of fun neighbourhoods like Plaka and Monastiráki. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was small but had a good assortiment. However not all pastries seemed fresh. Our biggest let down was the room. Our room was located on the ground floor, next to the elevator. The room was quite dark and very noisy.

Hotel location is good, see the Temple of Zeus, the front desk lady service is warm. We have a reasonable price upgrade to a large suite with a balcony with a kitchen sink and a separate hand washing bathroom. We bought a gift at the gift shop downstairs and also called the front desk into the room. The picture video was taken, but unfortunately transferred to the hard disk. We are two big and one small, the children live in the living room, the living room is very big. The layout is reasonable. Breakfast is delivered to the room, and the front desk downstairs is checked in advance.

The front desk and the cleaning aunt were very polite, but they seemed to lack some professionalism. The facilities that the hotel could provide were not clearly stated. Every time they needed to go to the front desk to ask. The room is large, but there are beds, wardrobes, TVs and TV cabinets, tables and chairs. It feels suitable to sleep overnight, but if it is a travel room, it is a little inconvenient, and it is not convenient to want to heat things. There is no hot water bottle. The decoration is still possible, and the bathroom has unlimited hot water. The front desk did not take the initiative to remind us of the breakfast time and place, resulting in us staying for four days without breakfast. Maybe I am used to the hotel taking the initiative to remind guests of the meal. This time, no one told us, resulting in us looking at the bill to find that our consumption included breakfast. All in all, it is a renovation, hotel location, and basic overnight environment All good hotels, but still a lot of shortcomings worth improving.

It was a seamless stay during my trip in Athens at this service apartment type hotel. Was able to get an early check-in by calling them the day before the stay to see if is available (usually 1-2 hours before 3PM check-in is accepted). As are no physical reception desk in the lobby, we were prompted to download an app one day before the trip as it is for hotel main entrance and room entrance.  The hotline is very helpful and reliable. The room feels modern and nice with a TV per room with bar area and good furnishing. The sofa bed was comfortable. Just keep in mind that there might be an issue on the hot water as the amount is good for three use max. The surrounding area might seem dodgy on google streetview but it turned out to be the opposite as family would come out at night around that area. Also the weekend is alive with the night bars and music events there (not too noisy).

Great location as all main tourist sites (including Kerameikos and Filopappou Hill) were walkable - also outside the main tourist area, which was a plus. Roof terrace also pleasant at the end of the day. Hotel facilities are limited: WiFi, internet tv only (on mine you had to log in with your own details), aircon, tea/coffee, free bottled water. Cold breakfast option (set price of €10 - not €8 as shown on the website). Airport pick-up is now also €50 (more than shown currently on website). Rooms modern but.mine was starting to look slightly tired. In theory it was a ‘suite’ suitable for four (two small rooms) but this would have been extremely cramped, particularly as each room had only a ‘space saver’ type wardrobe ie. wardrobe rail coming out from the wall with a mirror in front and no other storage and a sofa bed in the ‘living room’. Despite the website description of each room with (only) a power shower, mine had a shower over the bath. Service was average: front desk tried to be helpful but local knowledge was lacking. Bed was made each day, but tea/coffee/water were not refreshed and used glasses and mugs were not cleaned. Despite this, towels WERE refreshed daily and there was no option (card or other mechanism) to get this stopped. I was surprised: it seems that saving water and energy had passed the hotel by entirely. In conclusion: compared to other prices and areas of Athens I paid a reasonable amount, but given the reviews had expected more from the hotel, although I couldn’t honestly say that it was bad, just ‘average’.

A new hotel in the heart of Kolonaki, Athens' well-to-do district, the Modernist is a great blend of amenities and service. The hotel opened the week I visited and I expected there to be a few kinks to work out, but there were none! Service is wonderful, staff proactively asked what we needed, from carafes of sparkling water that they brought to the room on request any time of day, to laundry and other things. They also were very keen to know how they were doing, considering they were new. Breakfast is delightful, with a a creative mix of traditional Greek things and other international food. COVID setup is hygienic and efficient. We had a large room, which is not particularly large but has spectacular balconies overlooking the park across the street and with views of Lycabettus Hill. Windows are isolated and do a good job of keeping out the Athenian noise. Finally, the upstairs roof deck is a real delight, quiet, private, with a fantastic view of the Acropolis, and with a telephone to order drinks from downstairs. It's like being at the Hilton Bar across the street, but not paying 20 euros for cocktails. All told, a great start and a wonderful find, I wish the staff all the best of luck!

The location is very close to a main square and many streets lined with restaurants, also walkable to important sites. The location also provides a nice view from the rooftop bar (see the photo). The location is great! I marked the it low because being so central and close to all the main restaurants and bars also meant that there were extremely loud drunk people yelling in the street all night long. Bring your ear plugs or find somewhere that’s slightly farther away from the main drag. Clean and tidy, somewhat comfortable, there are lockers in the room if you bring your own lock. If you plan to drop off your bag before check in or leave it after, there are storage lockers for a fee that are somewhat confusing to operate. The front desk attendant assisted me.

It's spotless! Close to the subway station, bars, restaurants, pharmacies, and cafes, it's in a really good location. There are many things to do within walking distance. The only downside to our stay was that the building was undergoing renovation, and scaffolds were positioned outside our window, which affected our privacy. We had to keep the blinds closed all the time. I suppose this is a positive aspect, as they are taking good care of the building.

Everything was just wonderful. We were met at the entrance to the apartments and everyone was told in detail about the apartments 👍🏻 The room was very clean and with a comfortable balcony on which we had breakfast. The towels change every day. The apartments have everything necessary for comfortable accommodation. The location is good. The metro station and grocery stores are not far away. Great hotel close to restaurants. Rooms were clean and very aesthetically pleasing. Transport is very accessible and it’s easy to get everywhere. Office staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Great location. We chose a room on the 7th floor overlooking the central square and the Greek Parliament. From my room, I could clearly see the Acropolis and Panathinaiko stadium. The hotel is old-fashioned so the room is not spacious. I stayed on the 7th floor, below the restaurant, so at night the sound of tables and chairs being moved kept me awake.
