Close to the Ganges River and also close to the famous Lassi shop, it is recommended if you want to taste the atmosphere of the baranashi
And the staff was great.
The facilities felt old, but especially the elevator is a retro manual door and can hardly be seen in Japan and has an atmosphere.
Cleaning was neat and there was no problem
It was a little difficult because it was in a very complicated narrow alley until I arrived, but I think it is one of the attractions of Varanasi.

|5km from B H U Bus StopThe rooms were good. The service was very poor. Ac was not working properly for a whole day. Tv was not working and it was not even repaired even after repeated complaints. Shaving kit was asked and they said that it will be given shortly but it did not came the whole day. When asked again the next day they told that it's not included the complimentary services. This could have been communicated the previous day itself so that i could arrange from elsewhere. The food in the restaurant was also not up to the mark and the service there also was dissapointing.

The hotel interiors, common area, lobby, and passages are very nice with a heritage touch. The room interiors are okay, but the size could have been better. We stayed at room No. 1010 and 1008. The rooms are a bit suffocated, especially 1010. Toilets are clean with good fixtures. However, the bathing area could have been well managed by segregating dry, semi-dry, and wet zones.
Dental kit and liquid soap dispenser should have been provided.
The dining area is very nice with a variety of food options.
The dining staff are very polite. Though, the housekeeping staff seem to be more eager to grab the tips just simply by carrying your luggage.
Overall, stay was pleasant and enjoyable for us.

We went to TAKE A BOATRUDE FOR CEREMONY at 5:15 in the morning. The hotel arranged a boatman and waiter on time to guide us on the boat, and prepared the blanket very thoughtfully. It is hard to imagine how cold we would be without the blanket. Then we went to breakfast. A waiter provided us with services. Usually they started the meal at 7 am, but because we left the hotel at 7 am, they prepared some hot meals in advance, and they were very warm. Then on time, the boatman and PORTER took us on board and went to Baiqiao to meet our driver. They didn't leave until they put the boxes in the car. The key point came, the driver whispered, the hotel front desk started to call him at 5 o'clock in the morning, and constantly reminded him that he must wait for us early, for fear that we were delayed or could not find him. In fact, we didn't tell the hotel in advance, we needed them to remind the driver and so on. We just told the front desk that we were departing at 10 o'clock and we needed to depart from the hotel at 7 o'clock. Makes the hotel more nervous than us, afraid of being late and so on. The meticulous and perfect service exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this hotel, BRIRAMA PALACE VARANASI, WONDERFUL HOTEL!

The staff was brilliant, full stars to them, hygiene was good but could be improved as i found a bug in bed, used dishes were just lying on tables in corridor! ac flap was broken so had to deal with either too cold or no ac, so that, staff helped in early checkout and keeping the luggage safe as 2 hours late check up will take charges of whole day. Overall it was a good experience

I asked for a guide in the morning, but he did it politely. It was a Chai shop where the owner always goes, and it was outstanding in the Chai that I drank during the trip.

Food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room and washroom were clean and spacious. There was elevator facility which is helpful for people who have problems taking the stairs. There was parking space as well near by hotel. Overall it was worth stay. I would recommend this property to everyone.

The staff here is very helpful with everything you need. The rooms are very nice, and the air conditioning works properly. The bathroom in our room was cleaned by the staff every day. I enjoyed the food here so much that I ate here every day. The hostel also has an app through which you can order food and beverages and open the door to your room. I liked it so much that I’ve also booked stays in Rishikesh and Jaipur with the same brand, as I hope they are just as good as this one in Varanasi.

The rooms and toilets are spacious, but the sink in the bathroom was leaking...Also, there are a lot of mosquitoes in the hotel. The staff however were very polite and helpful.

Out of 5, i would give: location: 4, room cleanliness: 3. 5, service: 2. Good points: we checked in at night 2:30am (with full day booking of course, but no issues for room getting. Also, they allow us to put our trolley and other baggage after check-out time. Bad points: one bedroom, out of 3 room bookings, was given as two separate beds though we see the bed type written in booking was double bed. Also, they refused to do the room service everyday. They did for every alternate day. Another frustrating point is: every time you came from outside you need to ask the service team to switch on the air conditioner from their backend. Then only you can switch on from your room remote. Also, every day they miss at-least one room to provide the complementary water bottles. They provided the water bottles after asking only.

The hotel has a great location - ***** the main roads through the markets you can get to one of the main ghats of Varanasi, Dashashwamedh Ghat. I easily walked there.
Direct distance from the ghats is a big plus: the area is clean, there are no extraneous odors, but at the same time there is the necessary infrastructure. There are several cafes with good coffee nearby, and opposite there is a supermarket where you can find almost everything you need, and, importantly, it accepts Visa.
The hotel itself is new, the service at the reception is excellent. We checked in an hour early, but had to wait a little. Fortunately, there is a nice restaurant on the roof where you can while away the time.
I really liked the room, especially its atmosphere and design. Lots of lighting schemes, which I always appreciate. Mirrors with backlighting are a separate plus! The shower room is clean and tidy, the water is hot and with good pressure.
The bathroom has everything you need: shaving kit, shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer (!!), hair conditioner, comb, dental kit.
The bed is just incredible! Very comfortable mattress, you can sleep 100%.
The window has a view of the wall - and this is rather a plus: silence is guaranteed, extraneous noise from the street does not disturb.
The room has a tea set, coffee, cream, as well as inverter air conditioning and TV.
Breakfast is rather formal, but it is nice to have a cup of coffee in the morning. For Europeans, the choice of food is very limited.
The price per room is about $ 40, and this is more than an excellent value for money.
I recommend this hotel, especially if you want to live in Varanasi in comfortable conditions, not far from the ghats, but at the same time in a clean and civilized area.

We had initially booked a non-ac room, however as it was humid - we wanted to upgrade it to ac room. The hotel management arranged for the same at the very earliest and accommodated us in a better room. However, the cleanliness is okayish, could be better. Nonetheless, the staff is very helpful- you can always rely on them
