Vinayak Heritage

They wanted us to pay 1000 Indian rupees extra for early check-in, but we refused and waited a bit. The room was quite dusty, especially on the shelves, there were dirty glasses on the table. The toilet has a very small and inconvenient sink. It is very noisy, a loud elevator that constantly moves and loudly repeats the same phrases. There was some garbage lying around in the elevator for several days, a shiny package from a chewing mixture or something similar. No one picked it up during all these days. There is no refrigerator in the room. Tea, coffee and water are not provided for free. No shampoo and soap, no toilet paper. Small pillows. Wi-Fi on the second floor is poor and intermittent. In the evening, the cafe did not even have simple tea bags, the staff told us that tea can only be drunk in the morning. But in the morning, masala tea was delicious. Our room had a balcony, but we did not go out there, as the view was depressing on the building in front of the hotel and the balcony itself was dirty and destroyed. The photos on the site are more than 5 years old, so the administrator himself told us and laughed. It is inconvenient to get to any places, as taxis very rarely get to the hotel location. But you can walk to the Ghats. The hotel is definitely not worth the money and it is better to find another place for your trip to Varanasi.

Very kind and extremely helpfull staff. Location very nicely situated and accessable. Pricing is very reasonable and good beds. Will for sure come back again.
