This is not a hotel, it is more like a bnb in a residential building. And there is nothing design about it. We waited 45 minutes before somebody arrived to let us in. There is No receptionist. The rooms are ok but way less nice than they look like in the pictures. A lot of street noise but that is to be expected of this location. The ‘decor’ looks like childrens craft projects. But that There Isnt anyone present i found the most annoying. We stayed here four nights and didnt see anyone the whole time, apart from the ‘receptionist’ that Made us wait 45 minutes in the scorching heat before letting us in. The positive reviews about this place must be a scam.

We could not have picked a better spot for our three day stay in the historic area of Rome! The building that houses the Pantheon Inn was built in the 1500s, so bear in mind that it will have quirks and inconveniences that occur from time to time. If you are for trendy modern places to stay, this is not the place for you. However, if you love history and you love being immersed in historic areas, the Pantheon Inn is exactly where you want to be. 1) Booking.com made it very easy for us to make a connection with the staff at the Pantheon Inn. We were literally in text or email communication with manager, Kuldip, from the very first day we made a reservation. 2) From a historic point of view, the Pantheon Inn was built in the 1500s and later became the home of one of the greatest leaders in Italian history, during the mid-1800s, Giuseppe Garibaldi. Garibaldi brought together many provinces throughout the country making it the Italy we know today. As a result, Garibaldi earned the nickname, the George Washington of Italy. 3) Pantheon Inn Is just a block and a half from the Pantheon itself and is also centrally located to the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and just 1-2 miles from Vatican City. The shops and the outdoor markets are everywhere, so the choices for gifts, for a lovely coffee shop, or just a place to rest at a fountain and watch the crowds can be found almost anywhere. 4) The manager, Kuldip, made arrangements for all of our no-line, walking tours to the Colosseum, to the Roman Forum and to the Vatican. Our guides were excellent. 5) Kuldip also made arrangements for the most important reason we visited Rome and that was to celebrate our granddaughter‘s 18th birthday and graduation. His expertise in choosing a wonderful restaurant that was outdoor and in the courtyard area of the Pantheon for the evening of her birthday was truly a special experience. He knows the people who own the restaurant and they treated us like royalty. 6) Francesca prepares a wonderful free to enjoy breakfast every morning with a wide variety of tasty choices, so take it vantage of that, as often as you can! In addition, Francesca worked closely with us, regarding a severe food allergy that could have had a tragic impact. So, she was extremely helpful in this particular area. 7) please be aware that with very old buildings there could be inconveniences that occur from time to time. Please Be Patient! The staff are wonderful and will do anything to try and make your stay comfortable, especially when inconveniences like an old elevator needing repair or possibly plumbing issues occur…it happens. 8) The rooftop terrace at night is amazing. Be sure to take a wonderful bottle of wine and just enjoy as the lights come on around you in an ancient city at night! 9) as the streets throughout Rome are very, very close just be aware of the traffic that you will encounter, especially when walking. There are many cars and motorcyclists, there a

This cute boutique hotel is tucked away behind really intimidating doors in an old pre-war building. It is endearingly eccentric -- you have to take an ancient elevator (think manual doors) to get to the hotel, then when you get there, you are greeted by a small, intimate lobby, which is more like a living room inside someone's really huge apartment. There are probably only 4-6 rooms... the place is small. The staff members are very on top of their game. They have great tips for sightseeing and they are very accommodating with getting you set up with your car service. Also breakfast is a fun little experience: you pre-order your meal the night before, pick a time at which you want to eat, then hotel front desk agent cooks it herself in the morning and serves it on a little cart outside your room. The room itself was very clean, with unique touches, like a ”Gone with the Wind” themed desk. The sink was a little idiosyncratic. If you turned the faucet on to full force, the water splashes outside... probably a slight miscalculation on the part of the designers, but one can overlook such things in light of all the other great things about this place. The bathroom has fun purple/pink/red lighting and an amazing shower system: you can choose different modes, like overhead rain, full frontal spray, or a hand held spray. The bed was quite comfortable--I like my mattress on the firmer side. The BEST thing about this hotel is its location. Very central and walkable to literally everything worth seeing in Rome. We never got on one bus while we were here and we saw the Pantheon, the Colosseum, the Forum, the Spanish Steps, Trastevere, the Vatican, Piazza Navona, Piazza del Popolo, and the Borghese Gallery. The hotel isn't staffed 24/7, so you should keep them updated about when you plan to arrive. Once you're checked in, you are given multiple sets of keys: one for the front door, one for the lobby, and one for your own room. On the last day, we were able to arrange with the hotel staff to leave our luggage in the lobby after checkout. Would definitely come back if we are in Rome again in the future.

We booked boldly Torre Caparanica despite quite a few of the TripAdvisor reviews, which we have thought were based on unusually unrealistic expectations, and we were not wrong. First the location- so central and so quiet at the same time, on Piazza Capranica, in the middle of the middle of Pantheon area of Rome! The room was spacious, greatly decorated, without even mentioning a superb masterpiece on the ceiling and the upper parts of the walls. The staff were extraordinary welcoming, friendly and helpful. everything worked like a charm, from airport transfer to the reception. As we were entering the building I was trying to figure out what were all those complaints in reviews that I had read about. The area is super safe, the entry to the building is quite grandiose, and the room that we stayed in was marvelous. And no, I do not think that the elevator is small in contrary, I though it just added to the feeling of cosiness of the entire building. All in all, a great experience, worth maximum rating!

Good location, very convenient by bus, walking to the Colosseum is also very close. When I arrived at night, I couldn’t find a place to live and die. I didn’t think of the hotel in a church. When I was sleeping, the quilt was very thin. I felt that all Italy was a thin quilt. Breakfast was not good. I drank the most difficult coffee to drink so far. I suggest that I should find a cafe outside to enjoy breakfast.....

Accommodation is always important and I must say I had a great experience with this hostel. Sometimes I even forgot it was a hostel. I had a single room and a private bathroom. The room was small and cute. Always clean and housekeeping came everyday. I was reluctant to choose a hostel when visiting Rome because I had a unpleasant experience when I visited Sydney but if other hostels provided the attention I was given such as Radio hotel, I would most certainly not be reluctant prior to booking. There was a little issue with a small leak from the bidet in the bathroom and when I mentioned it to the front desk, it was fixed immediately. Every single person I encountered at the front desk were very nice and provided me with great detail how to explore the city and best travel options to get there. As a single female traveler I did not feel uncomfortable at any time. The train station near to this hostel is Roma Travestere. About a 8 minute walk or so from the hostel which you can buy train tickets to visit other cities if you wish. There is also the number 8 tram near the train station which will take you directly into the hotspot where you can roam and see great sites like the Trevi Fountain, Spanish steps etc. Thumbs up to this place.

Fantastic village, beautiful surroundings and very peaceful. Train station is around a 30 minute walk from the village where you can get cheap trains to Rome and the airport. Great place to get a good night’s rest and good value too. I stayed there between flights so it was convenient as it is only 1 hour 15 minutes by train to the airport. There are restaurants, plenty of toilets and even a shuttle bus. I didn’t use any of these services because I just needed to sleep but there are lots of amenities. I stayed in a basic room which had 2 beds, table, light and power socket. That’s all you need. There is a heater and blankets for when it gets cold. A generous amount of toilet paper is also provided which can be used in the shared toilets. Staff are friendly. All in all a great place to stay!

First of all we checked in at midnight and waited over an hour for the guy at reception to finish with ONE customer. The hotel room was old but reasonable for €70 a night; although the SAFE didn’t work and some double beds are two single beds put together. The hotel overall is clean but it’s in a pretty rough area with hardly anything open after 9pm. Now if the reason you are staying is for access to Rome then be prepared for a 25mins bus ride to a very grotty Metro station and then another 25 odd minutes to Termini - which is the centre of Rome. Uber doesn’t take orders from area, and quite frankly isn’t very good on Italy. BREAKFAST: there isn’t an eggs bar or anything that is cooked fresh in front of you for but there is a reasonable hot food selection and juices with fruit. I’d give it a 4/10 for breakfast. There aren’t irons in the room but you can iron clothes on the ground floor “ironing room”. The WORST part of the hotel was that the swimming pool, Spa and gym is not accessible for months due to renovations which given that it is so far from civilization leaves nothing to do at the hotel apart from walking the pretty dodgy surrounding streets. PS: parking is free but in a dark and small underground space with no valet.

Everything needed was in the room (fridge, conditioner, hair dryer), clean, everything in good condition. Reception desk staff speaking adequate English. A nice little pool was also available for us, my son enjoyed it. Didn't buy breakfast, so I cannot say anything about it. Were mostly in the city, came to hotel only for sleeping. FIRST of all I'd like to say that we went to this guest house expecting that it would be a small room with minimal amenities. DO not expect a 4 star hotel.. The room and beds were very comfortable..air conditioning worked well once it was turned on. The bathroom also clean and a reasonable size.. We had an unexpected added addition, a mini balcony overlooking historic Roma. The fridge had beverages to purchase if we needed.. We didnt use the tv so can't comment.. The guest services Reception Julius was wonderful, he made our stay much more enjoyable as we had a lot of questions and concerns that needed to be addressed. Breakfast was ok no hot foods and coffee came from a machine.. Now for the not so great part.. The hotel actually is on the 3rd floor..its almst 5 flights of stairs so if you want to get in shape this hotel is for you..there is an elevator but if you are claustrophobic this is not for you..If you have a lot of luggage this wont work for you...if you want coffee in your room in the morning good luck..both coffee makers brought to our room would not work..Great cafes everywhere though...If you like getting soaked before entering the shower this is for you..shower head water fall off wall and shower wand sprays in your face when you try to switch over or during your shower the wand may switch back to rainfall shower so wear a shower cap if you dont want to wash your hair. Only 1 plug to use all others are being used..dont forget your 3 prong euro adapter.. Get a tutorial on how to open the Guesthouse entrance door or you may be sleeping there as the door is locked after 8 pm til 8am. Added highlights close to everything..5 min from Republic station metro and 10 min from Termini Station. Lots of restaurants everwhere..

One of the best choices for the Vatican Museum in the morning, it's convenient for Tete, and you can walk in three minutes. It is strongly recommended to make an online reservation in advance, with the printed order entered, and the automatic machine exchange ticket inside. 2, breakfast, very good 3, service, very good 4, the price is very good, it is two nights with very high cost performance. 5, the surrounding environment, found a very good steakhouse, Chinese food is also good, Sichuan cuisine is still authentic 6, other traffic: when you go, a certain rickshaw delivery station is also very convenient The hotel front desk also has its own recommendations. Beautiful Hotel, great value, a bit far from Rome and any activities. The pool had not opened yet so not much to do as tourists in this beautiful hotel . The staff was friendly and helpful. Front desk helpful. As others have discussed, on multiple occasions, room service phones go unanswered, just ring and ring. Breakfast for $15. Per person is the best you will ever experience. The wait staff were awesome. The shuttle service into Rome is a good value, $15 round trip but only runs 4 times per day, does not leave early enough to get you to the airport for an early flight and returns at 9pm, just when the Romans are waking up. The shuttle also stops at 2-3 other INH properties, which causes it to sell out days in advance ( frequently). If the shuttle is full or the times don’t work, now you are into serious dollars to hire a taxi into Rome center. Depending upon where you are going, $45-60 one way ( for 2). We also paid $50 taxi fare from the airport each way.so over the course of the 4.5 days at the hotel, we spent $250-$300 for transportation just to get to town. If I were not staying on points, I would consider an in-town option.

This is a really very good hotel. I enjoyed the quality of the staff, the room ,the location and general quality of the Hotel. It would have got 5 stars but for 2 things.. and both relate to Cielo bar..a superb place for a visitor to Rome staying in the hotel to enjoy the great views of Rome particularly at sunset and a drink. Firstly,we arrived at the rooftop bar to find it full of people not staying in the hotel and there was no priority whatsoever for guests of the hotel. Here the bar and the views were filled with locals paying 16 euros for a drink and the guests paying hundreds of euros each night could not get a seat..and the Restaurant above not open till 7.30. Secondly, the appalling loud music at the bar was totally disruptive to a sophisticated enjoyment of the view trumpeted in the hotels advertising.. It detracted from the general quality of the hotel.. The Hausler next door has a total priority policy for guests next to the De La Ville on their rooftop and indeed our existing hotel in Portifino the same,. Pity it detracted from our stay.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Holiday Inn, the airport shuttle was not available to bring us from the airport but we were able to get it back so can't really complain. No problems with check in, the ladies on reception were very friendly as was everyone we encountered at the hotels. Rooms were good size, very clean and serviced every day. Breakfast has plenty of variety there is something for everyone, honestly if you couldn't find something to eat its not the hotels fault. The hot food isn't exactly hot but the hotel caters for large numbers so its not a cooked to order type of place and again if you want a full English this is not the place to go. We ate a few nights in the restaurant and to be honest if was very hit and miss, pizza was good as was the pasta dishes. we had the chicken one night and it wasn't the best. Kids eat free so added bonus. The gym is well equipped. the pool was being renovated so we got to use the pool a few minutes walk from the hotel again it would have been nice to be informed that the pool was being renovated just so we would have had choice about our booking but again nothing major about a few minutes walk. The bar is really lovely to have a drink and chill but the hotel when we stayed was very busy so didn't get a real opportunity to sit and relax there. No major complaints from us but would have loved a fridge in the room it was super hot outside and would have been nice to have the complimentary water chilled. On our last night a tour group arrived so there was a lot of banging of doors and people talking in the corridor late in the night, nothing the hotel can do about loud individuals being inconsiderate to those asleep but other than that a very nice stay. Reception sell the train tickets into Rome and the station is a short walk away. The area is a bit run down but that's nothing to do with the hotel. We would be back to see the renovations in the pool area. Thank you

The hotel front desk is very good in English and the communication is barrier free. Because it is a Marriott member, you can get free internet access. Compared to the hotel in the city center, the room is large and the balcony is large. That is, the kettle will cause a jump, and directly find the problem within five minutes. Next to the hotel is the Gemeli Railway Station. Take the three stops and get off at the Metro Line A to get anywhere in Rome.

The room was small, but it had all the internal organs. We went in winter. The room was warm and quiet. The hotel is relatively new and the service is good. There are bus tickets at the front desk, which were refunded when we bought more. You can book a business car at the airport hotel. 58 euros, not cheap, but convenient. Overall, not bad. Praise!

Very nice surprise for the location and the neighborhood, we are 200m from the Colosseum and in front of the San Clemente church. I had a balcony set by windows which made me dizzy with a total view of the Colosseum, very beautiful memory. Small less the hotel has a dreadful modern architecture, but from inside it passes. The rooms are well equipped, the reception is very attentive and spoke perfect French or English. Breakfast takes place on the ground floor with a view of the street, you are served as much as you want but the service is done behind a plexiglass, tea, coffee, eggs, bacon, sausages, etc. I recommend the pancakes with maple syrup but the coffee is really disgusting, it's freeze-dried powder in the machines. There is a bar on the top floor, open from noon until midnight and the pool was not authorized for this beginning of October, too bad it was still 25 degrees! Finally I took advantage of the proximity of the Colosseum I went there very late or very early to have it all to myself. Magical moment !

The hotel is nice but something very very horrible happened to me. On the day I left, I checked out the mini bar I had used at the front desk, and then the front desk asked me if I was going back to China? I say yes. Then 5 hours after I returned to China, I received a deduction of 1503 euros from my credit card... People who know it will naturally understand. It's just that the front desk used my card number to spend. Because foreign countries have a card number and a security code on the back for direct consumption. I can't say that it must be this hotel. But I kept lingering in my mind and he asked me Are you going back to China? I think it's almost a good thing the front desk does. What should be said is not smooth, what should not be said is still to be said, when you pay the deposit abroad in the future, you don’t need to remember to lock the card after the deposit... Warm ⏰ reminder...

At first, we thought we had a great deal and would be staying at a great hotel. The TripAdvisor photos looked great, the place looked clean in the pictures and it looked like it was a great deal. We ended up cancelling our entire trip which was meant to be Rome, Florence and then Milan and booking a next morning ticket home because the room had left me with such a major allergic reaction that I could barely see more than a foot in front of me. On the first night getting into Rome, we just arrived from the airport to try and get in the front for it to just be closed entirely having to figure out that we had to walk down this alleyway road to the bar and check in which honestly we thought was no big deal but we should have realised this was the first red flag. Then we were put on the first floor with a booking that had been in advance to enter the room and be hit instantly with such a strong smell of chemicals and perfume which was clearly trying to cover up the unpleasant smell which it didn't so it created this mix of intense chemicals, perfume and putrid smell. The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly and I could barely stay in there without my face starting to have a reaction so my partner seeing this got me out as quickly as possible and we found somewhere to eat and talk. We agreed that we would ask the reception in the morning if we could wash the sheets with a non-bio wash instead I had to see if that helped because before going for dinner we realised one of the perfume smells was coming from the sheets itself. When we got back we tried to enter our room for our key did not work until the 5th try and then we got in. This problem happened over 6 times and we had to go to the front desk half of those times to be let back in the room. I tried having a shower and while using the towel in the bathroom I was hit with another smell of some terribly cheap perfume completely drenching it. Water was coming out from both the bath and shower faucets and the mechanism to switch between the two wouldn't lock. Half an hour later my face swells up to a balloon, my partners booked our flight home and I'm sleeping in a hoodie with the hood up making sure not to put my face on the pillow because it's drenched in even more chemicals. We checked out the next morning first thing even though we were meant to be there for 4 more days and in Italy for another week. The last time I stayed in Rome I stayed in a hotel that was a lot cheaper and their sheets were 1000x better. We lost out on all of our holiday and money and I've never once experienced or left a bad review for a place or left a place the very next day. If you want to pay a large amount for cheap hotel accommodation this is the place.

Advantages: Although very biased, but cost-effective. The front desk service is very good, you can help to call taxi at the front desk, very convenient. Breakfast is very cheap, but there are very few options to choose from, but the breakfast in Europe, wherever you go, is nothing more than those things, and the category is a bit less. The surrounding environment is relatively quiet, but the school is a school opposite the day, slightly noisy, but it won't start very early, so it will not affect the rest. There is a balcony, the balcony is very large, sitting on the balcony and smoking a cell phone is very comfortable. Disadvantages: 1. The equipment is really old, the bathroom facilities are very poor, but they are all easy to use, just old. 2. The bed is not very comfortable, it seems that the two mattresses are put together, and there is a dividing line in the middle of sleeping. 3. The lights in the room are very dim, and the tables and chairs feel like what I was at home in the 80s. 4. The surrounding area is not very prosperous. The need to eat is very far away. The supermarket is about 1 km away. It is recommended that the selected small partners buy all of your accommodations in the supermarket one day. You don’t have to go back and forth. 5. It's really a bit biased. It takes about 10-15 Euros to get into the city. The cost is a bit high. Next time I would rather live in the city. In fact, the money for the taxi is coming out every day. But if you have an international driver's license and can rent a motorcycle in Italy, you can still consider it. personal suggestion

We had a great experience at this hotel and the rooms are surprisingly big for Europe with lots of space in the bedroom and a roomy bathroom. The front desk was also very friendly and helpful. The hotel's location is very convenient and we were a 10 minute walk to Roma Termini and within a half an hour walk of the many sights of Rome like the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. There are many good restaurants in the area too.
