I've been in this hotel for few days the first week of December with my partner, and since the warm welcome we received at the reception, we understood that we made the right choice. The Hotel is lovely, newly refurbished and very clean. But the staff is what makes the difference. Everyone is very attentive, caring and smiling, and they go over and beyond to satisfy any request. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Claudia and Luisa (hope I get the names right) at the reception have been amazing. They always recognised us by name (yes they remembered our names), and greeted us with a smile even though we had few requests for the room. They simply accommodated our requests in an efficient and timely manner. We had breakfast every day and few times lunch or dinner as well during our stay. Food was great and the Chef (Stefano if I am not wrong) was often going around the table to make sure that guests are happy and satisfied. We also felt very safe thanks to the Health & Safety measure they have in place in the whole Hotel after Covid. Staff is wearing masks and they follow the government guidelines. We had the chance to meet the General Manager Marco, which helped us in various situation with suggestions and directions to make sure that we enjoy our trip in Florence. He is passionate about his job, and you can clearly feel it when he talks. Overall, me and my partner had an amazing experience. It was our first trip outside UK since Covid, and we are happy that we choose this hotel. We will definitely come back, and recommend to our friends.

Good location. With friendly, comfortable and very prepared staff in the various tasks. The rooms are always clean and in order. In practice, a quality guarantee. A separate mention should be made for the two owners who are unique, Alexandro and Stefano. What to say more ... boys, you need to transform the reception room into a dance room and then have fun together! :D :D :D

Single occupancy, the room is clean, but the decoration is outdated and looks a bit old. The shower space in the bathroom is small, and people who are a little taller may feel restricted movement. The parking lot is free and the breakfast is OK. Generally speaking, it is a good deal at this price.

Self-driving to Florence, the car can not drive into the old town, I chose this hotel, free parking, but relatively remote! The hotel is a 10-minute bus ride to the old town, the room is clean and big enough, quiet, and the waiters are so polite , Explain how to enter the old city so clearly, you can buy a round-trip bus ticket at the front desk, and I will stay again next time!

We’ve booked two rooms for three nights in this hotel. The rooms were not ready when we arrived, which was totally fine. We asked the staff to add an extra bed given the hotel was fully booked that day (no extra room available). However, when we came back to the hotel in the evening, the extra bed was still not ready. We also found smoke smell in one of the rooms as well, but we couldn’t change the room for the first night given the hotel was fully booked... Breakfast was good with various of coffee and omelet available upon request. The staffs have prepared breakfast boxes for us as we have early flight to catch the day we checked out, which was nice. The facilities in the hotel are well maintained. Overall it is a good hotel to stay if you want to spend a few days to explore Florence.

We had a lovely stay and were made to feel really at home.  The host was very attentive and could not have been more helpful.  Because of the Covid we had to have breakfast in our room but the host brought fresh coffee every morning.  The room is big and airy with a lovely clean bathroom that has everything you could need, shower cap, shower fresh etc.  The location is close to the train station and only a few minutes from Tram 1 which is every 5 minutes and takes you into the center of town for only 1.50euro.  would really recommend the ”Leonardo da Vinci Interactive museum”, really interesting and fascinating for both children and adults!   Florence is about 1 hour from Pisa which is worth a days trip. But Ladies watch your bag in Florence as I had mine dipped, they only got a purse of change but it did upset me and left me feeling very shaky :-(

The service is good, and the two front desk services encountered in two days are very professional and meticulous. The original order said that there was free parking but the parking space was tight. We stopped at the roadside. Fortunately, there was no charge on the weekend. Clean and comfortable, there is still a distance from the scenic area, breakfast is good! The Ctrip hotel order is for two adults plus one child. Ctrip only has the option to have a child and an adult free of charge. At the time of check-in, the front desk said why not tell them that there are three people, the children are free to stay, let us wait a half hour to prepare a room with a bed. I have to sneak in Ctrip. In other Italian hotels, I also choose two people and one child, so I need to fill in the names of three people (children need extra fees, which is very common in Europe). And this hotel has no option to fill in the names of three people because the children stay for free!

The room was large, the room was very clean, there was a kitchen living room, and it was very comfortable for three nights; the front desk service was very warm, and the day before leaving the store, she was asked to help with the taxis to the train station. The only problem was the old town of Florence. The road is really hard to push the box, the hotel is really far from the train station, the push box will be desperate, and there is no one around the hotel, the night is a bit desolate, the tour is gathered near the train station, indeed the vicinity of the Florence train station is the attraction Going to the outlet, eating and shopping are convenient, but the price is also expensive! So if the baggage is relatively small, it is recommended to stay, cost-effective, anyway, you can ride back and forth in Mobai is also very convenient!

The room is a bit small, but it has a balcony where the laundry can be dried on the balcony. There are a lot of mosquitoes in Florence. You must prepare a mosquito killer or fight against the mosquitoes overnight. For parking, there are about 10 free surface parking spaces at the back of the hotel. After staying for a day, I discovered that the hotel has an underground parking garage, but I am not sure if it is free. It is recommended that if you have a free parking space on the ground, you can leave the car on the self-driving tour. Stop, if you go to the city, you can take a tram, and you can walk to the tram station in about 10 minutes.

We wanted to love this place so much, but in the end too many issues unfortunately ruined our stay. The main two issues were 1) our room location and 2) the property’s response to other guests. In our view, Room 1 should absolutely be avoided at all costs unless you are a deep sleeper. It is situated directly next to the front door and faces the busy street at ground level. We live in Chicago and are used to city sounds — this room though is worse. The sounds of traffic and guests coming in and out make it challenging to truly feel relaxed. A horribly annoying lose manhole cover makes a “thud” that shook the room every time a car drives by — not great to hear repeatedly at 2am. The positive is that the room is furnished beautifully and was very clean. The separate main issue involved other guests virtually taking over the property’s very limited public areas. At both breakfast and in the evening, an extended family with babies and small children camped out in the main room and garden area. In the evening they treated it similarly to how families would approach a shared vacation house or Airbnb by gathering and playing cards in the living room. While on its face this doesn’t seem like a big issue and while the family was very polite overall, most people coming to Florence likely aren’t seeking to “third wheel” it with babies and toddlers crying throughout breakfast, a loud baby monitor placed outside your room in the evening, and shouting for luggage during checkout. It ruined any sort of image portrayed in the property’s photos of contemplation by the mantle or a quiet morning in the garden. Other very small issues include that the entry code did not work for our room key (so had we arrived outside the limited staffed hours we’d have been out of luck) and that the same code did not work as intended for the garden (which would have left me locked outside had my wife not checked). When asked about how we enjoyed our stay by Julia, I mentioned the room and the issues with the family, literally with them having just taken over the main room a few minutes prior. She apologized and handed me the bill. I’d have appreciated at least some small gesture beyond an apology. On the positive sides, the place is quiet charming to look at, the location is fantastic (best gelato in Florence just at the end of the street) and the breakfast was tasty. Would we give it another try? Probably yes, only if we could guarantee a garden facing room.

This hotel is in a strategic location if you have little time to visit the city centre of Florence, just a few steps away from the Duomo, as well as the Ponte Vecchio, the Palazzo Pitti, the Offices and the Gardens of Boboli. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean, and certainly the details of cleaning were missing as angles and a little powder but for the price and last minute choice more than enough. The service is not very well-treated. Breakfast is basic but nothing misses, from sweet to salt. Good selection of tea and infusions. Around 30mt is a convenient garage with a daily price (€25) which also deals with the loading of the loading (in- and out-in), all in a good price-quality ratio.

Far from being a true 5-star hotel (it is not clear how they give stars in Italy), but still a hotel with a good value for money. Excellent location if you arrive by car, because it is outside the pedestrian area, but really close to the historic center. Pretty good breakfast and the guy who serves it is very nice (unfortunately I don't remember the name, but he had a strong Florentine accent). The room was comfortable and spacious enough, but still not 5-star. Basically, if they had chosen to be rated 4 stars, they would have avoided a lot of negative comments and can present the hotel for what it really is.

Can only agree with what other reviewers have said: this is a small-ish, clean and comfortable hotel made special by the genuine focus on good customer service from all the staff. Special mention to Michele (forgive the spelling) who is one of those people who genuinely wants everyone to have a good time and enjoys helping them out even though he was obviously run off his feet a lot of the time. The distance wasn't a problem for us - it's a simple 10 minute walk straight along the road from Dante's statue next to Santa Croce. It is about as far again from the Duomo as SMN station is to it though, so too far with suitcases on cobbled roads in heat. The roof terrace views of the Florence skyline as the sun sets and picks out the towns in the hills around it were a definite plus, as was the hotel's relaxed views on the honesty bar or just taking your own up to sit and enjoy. The riverside location suited us too - if you're happy to mix with the locals and try out afew basic Italian phrases then this is a great spot for heading where they do for aperitivo. You can either head down in the riverside park (just a basic outdoor bar but very relaxed and friendly and full of locals catching up) or a 10 minute walk up the main road that goes past the hotel away from the river and turn right at the old gatehouse (now in the middle of a roundabout) where you'll find afew decent street bars & restaurants (and a large Coop round the corner). I would have given this 5 stars to reflect the hotel's comforts and great customer service ethos, but for two points: like most of Italy's hotels in converted historic buildings the rooms have been built into wherever they could be fit (it took a couple of days to work out the best route to breakfast through the maze), and on our first night we were put into a ground floor room which looked to be their disability-adapted room. It was just as clean and comfortable as the other rooms but we could see pedestrians' heads as they passed (there are shutters on the windows though). We were moved to the second floor for the rest of the week which was fine. The other thing I would recommend the hotel changes next time they refurbish is the breakfast room - it would be great as a wine bar with its all-white decor, quirky seating and big curved tables at various heights, but not so great for seating guests at breakfast. No doubt social distancing was a factor but I doubt it could accommodate everyone arriving for breakfast in normal times either (you could take a tray away), and even then you're sitting around a big table with other guests, and we could see afew groups who'd travelled together negotiating to be able to sit with each other. Not something that spoiled our stay at all, just something that would make the hotel even better if changed. All in all though a great base for a week and would happily return.

The breakfast is very good, and the variety is much better than the big hotel. Victory is fresh in things. Said to be ten o'clock. In fact, he will wait for you to eat. Because the place is not big, I know which guest has come and which one has not come yet. It usually ends at eleven o'clock. Moreover, the dining is in a small garden, very comfortable environment. The regular room that was booked was a bit small. But it is clean and comfortable. It was postponed for a day and it was good to upgrade a room with a living room. The sofa in the living room is also a folding bed. Although we can't use two, many friends may need it. They are very intimate to provide a room for three or four people, making it easy for families to travel. great.

Absolutely first class small French garden hotel. The hospitality at the front desk is in stark contrast to Rome's five-star hotel Plaza Hotel, which not only has detailed facility introductions, but also actively assists in the planning of tourist attractions. The bartender is enthusiastic and can remember the guests' names. Security awareness is also very strong. When we enter at night, we will ask us to show the room card. Needless to say, the photos on Ctrip are real.

The location of the hotel is excellent, just a few steps from piazza duomo. The hotel has a beautiful terrace overlooking the cathedral. Upon our arrival the welcome was a bit cold. When we got to the room we realized that the bed was broken. We then turned to the lady of the hotel, who asked my boyfriend for help to move and change the bed. On 31/12 in the afternoon we find a sheet with written on it that the following morning it would not have been possible to use the breakfast service due to an alleged failure of the pipes (paid in advance on Booking). Unfortunately we did not meet the owners either on the 31st afternoon or the following morning (the day of our departure). At the reception we found an elderly lady who, when we told her about the paid but unsecured service, did not know what to tell us. Florence is beautiful but if I were to return, even if the location is beautiful and functional, I would not return to this hotel, due to the lack of professionalism and correctness.

I mean during the check in the entire time, the staff ignored me the entire time, I understand he knows I was with my friends, but I have my reservation separately, he should handle it by the order, and not just assigned me the smallest room just because I was a single person.I booked the exactly same type of room just like my friends, and their room is twice bigger than mine. And I can only eat breakfast in bed because there was no room to put it. That’s hilarious actually.

We got the room with a large bed and bunk beds. Service was awesome! They allowed earlier check in because our train arrived to the city before checking, and could arrange very late check out (for a fee, of course), because we had a night train. Everything was great! Very modern amenities, large spaces, clean, working A/C (apparently a luxury), small fridge, coffee machine, nice towels, attentive staff... only drawback could be that it is two flights up, so if might be a challenge. Other than that, this is great! I would certainly return during my next visit. Thank you for everything!

I recently stayed at Granduca for 2 nights. Location wise it isn't that far at all from the city centre, about a 7-minute cab. Rooms were clean, spacious and were perfect for my family. With a decent breakfast and very helpful and kind staff; I have nothing negative to say. Let me talk about the advantages of this hotel: the health is very good, out of 5 points to 4 points; the location is very good to give full marks, the train station is 5 minutes walk, the nearest attraction, Santa Maria del Fiore, go out and go straight, go straight Walking is the famous shopping street in the big brand; the hotel has good quality breakfast, delicious cake, hand-washed coffee and outdoor terrace. Then you have to vomit! Poor facilities, out of 5 points can only give 1 point: the elevator is small and broken, squeaky; the bed in the room is small, the quilt is thin, the air conditioner is not strong, the water flow in the bath hot water is also small, the toilet will also be anti-water... The service could have been given a pass, but only 2 points were given: the last day found that the cleaning secretly took away a whole pack of chocolates we put on the table... and we blamed ourselves for buying a lot. Putting it on the table may feel like taking one and you won't find it, but if we buy it by head, we will not remember the wrong number. Moreover, the cashier is also kept, you can order the number... although 5 euros of small things, but the feeling of being uncomfortable to the residents, this is taboo! Fortunately, shopping is arranged on the last day, advise everyone not to put the valuables in the hotel, it must be locked in the suitcase!

We stayed here for 3 nights. A short 10 minutes walk from train station. We followed direction to reach the hotel. The entrance is cross street from Omega store and next to Velatino store. When approaching to the hotel, you will see many luxury brands leading to the hotel. So.if you like shopping, this is heaven for you. The place has a little elevator can take 4 people at once. It is very small and old fashioned. We were a little bit skeptical about it and until we rode a few times, we started feeling comfortable. In such a hot weather, anything can save us a few steps would be great. When we reach the entrance, it is very easy to check in. Like other Italy hotels. You need to pay city tax separately by the number of guests in the room upon check out. The decoration inside was moden and inviting. We love it. There are 6 rooms inside the unit. Each room hosts different family. I was a little worried that so many families within one unit. It turned out to be fine. Everyone is out for sightseeing so the unit is very quiet even with so many families. Each room has it's own bathroom. They do daily housekeeping. Wifi and air co ditioning works great. As European breakfast places go it's lovely. Clean room, small closet, private bath, full European breakfast buffet. Small flight of steps to get to lobby which may be an obstacle for mobility challenged individuals. Breakfast room is full service buffet. So if you get to breakfast during their rush, you may wait in line and have difficulty finding a table. Not good if you like long leisurely breakfasts. I didn't realize that the hotel is near the rail system (which might have made me happier) so we walked a lot to get to the city sites. You can walk to the sites, it's just not central.

Love this hotel very much! ! ! Oh, I love it so much! The Pitti Suite we stayed in was very spacious and the room was very large. The double bed was more than enough for three adults. There are beautiful murals on the walls and ceiling, and the furniture and decorations are all retro, like a luxurious palace. The room is decorated with great attention to detail. There is a flower on the slippers and a beautiful heart-shaped rattan on the bath towel. It really suits my liking! After you check in the hotel, you will get the access control code, and then you can enter and exit freely when you enter the hotel gate and restaurant and press the code. When I searched for accommodation in Florence, there were many hotels that started with C series. I made a reservation for a place with a low price, but when I went there, only one of the affiliates was operating, and I did all check-in and check-out there. I'm not sure if the automatic upgrade was done or not, but the room condition was good and the laundry service was done earlier than the scheduled time, so I had a good stay without any inconvenience. In conclusion, I was very satisfied and recommended it to an acquaintance who is going to Florence and extended it for a few more days.

Great location, right next to Palazzo Vecchio and Ponte Vecchio, within walking distance to virtually everything. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. There was also a small sink in the 2nd bedroom. The shower room although small, but adequate. There was a huge wardrobe with in-room safe too. I only wish they provided bigger side tables for us to put our stuff and a few more chairs, since there’s so much space. We ended up putting most of our devices on the floor to charge. There was a TV was located in the sitting room with only 1 chair, I wonder if it’s used at all. I’m thankful for they had someone to help carry our big luggage, as even though there was a lift, we had to access our room via 1 flight of stairs. Upon checkout, we could call the front desk for the bellhop too. There were a few reviews about noise, but that didn’t bother us much. Our room was facing a quiet narrow alley, so perhaps we were lucky. I had e-mailed the hotel with a few enquiries prior to the stay and they were very responsive and helpful. The front desk staff were most polite and helpful too. The nearby paid garage was very useful to park our rental car and a short walk away from the hotel, so we didn’t have trouble hauling our luggage over. And it allowed us to enter the ZTL. Highly recommend families to book the apartment here.

I have seen there are no recent reviews so will update you on our visit. First off this is NOT a hotel and they do not have any services at all. They don't advertise that so it is what is says a B&B. Our room way extremely small even for europe rooms. The bathroon was the size of a telephone booth. The drain did not work at all and within 2 minutes the pan was filled and overflowing into the bathroom. You can not use the shower bascially. The air conditioning works but sounds like there are coins bashing around in it and can't really be used at all. No way to sleep in the room with that noise.. its not just a little noise it rattling really loudly. The person that run the place is only there from 2-6pm. He was very nice and helpful. If you need anything after that you are on your own. He said call him and he can come back. But hardly feels right calling a guy to run over to bring extra towels. While the location is excellent..... without a fan or air conditioning the outside noise it unbearable. Loud parties and people have fun below until at least 4:00am. I think I was dosing here and there as I heard about 30 people signing happy birthday at 3:30am. I know we had the smallest room but had I been there a second night I would have checked out a day early. This again is not a hotel I would say its a dorm room with a view.

Close to Novella station, but you have to walk to get to Duomo I booked for 4 nights, but I oversleeped my first night at another hotel. It was ridiculous, but I took you to a nearby four-star hotel, transported me all my luggage, upgraded my room, prepared a fruit, apologized, and wrote an apology and tried to solve my problem. I stayed at about 8 Italian hotels but the breakfast seems to be similar but I was surprised that the coffee was not good Oh, the room is spacious

The company has a meeting at a designated hotel. The rooms are large and small. The big house on the side of South wings is not soundproof and can hear the voice of a colleague next door. The advantage is that the location is acceptable. The most dissatisfied is the front desk service, a lot of invoice information entered the wrong place, and finally let the front desk change, the younger brother is still very upset. In Italy, let them fill in the invoices and tax refunds must be carefully checked, all kinds of input errors.
