The receiptionists (I forgot to ask both names, one of them is with glasses) were very kind and accomodating. The one with glasses even helped with my bags when I checked out. They provided the best room for my one night stay. There were complimentary coffees (from coffee maker and/or nescafe sachet) and teas that you can make for yourself near the receptionist counter. Best of all, they offer you complimentary fruits! The room is clean and the bed is really nice (I am particular about bed as I sometimes find it hard to fall asleep while travelling). Overall, love my experience and I can firmly say, it is really worth what I am paying for! ☺️ My favorite part is this hotel is really near to The Muffin Man Tea shop! ❤️ Love the experience and I have recommended this place to my good friends.

The single room had a rather narrow bed, and it was quite cold inside since there was no air conditioning. There were no rubber slippers in the bathroom. Laundry was expensive, costing 3 euros per item, and there was no self-service washing machine. You had to ask the front desk for fabric slippers. Other than that, everything was fine; the bathroom environment was good, and the room environment was also acceptable. The room size was average, but the carpet on the floor felt very textured.

I thought the 0.8m bed would be too narrow, but it was actually fine. The room is indeed small but perfectly adequate. It shares a building complex with 'The Sleeper' hotel, but has a different restaurant and is a bit cheaper. The service was good, and the shower pressure was decent, which is a big plus as many hotels in the UK have very low water pressure. I didn't experience any fire alarms in the middle of the night. As for breakfast, most places in the UK are pretty similar, but this one was quite substantial. Good value for money overall.
