The Grand Base Urakami is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Grand Base Urakami offers a pleasant stay in Nagasaki for those traveling for business or leisure. With Urakami Station just 400m away and Nagasaki Airport only 38km away, transportation is very convenient. With 長崎ブリックホール 音楽庁, Nagasakishi Noguchiyataro Memorial Museum and Exposed Camphor Tree all within a short distance, there is no shortage of things to do in the area. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing.

More of a suite than a room - lobby, toilet and wash basin in one room leading on to bath in the next. Beyond a sizeable bedroom with a sofa and chair forming a lounge area. Very good set of complimentaries too. The only disadvantage is that the hotel is ticked away down side streets in a quite hilly area so finding the best way in and the optimal entrance for reducing uphill steps is a challenge. Convenient for the Peace Park and A-Bomb Museum for a streetcar ride or twenty minute walk to central Nagasaki.

First of all, it was released at a low price, so I was satisfied. Most of the hotels in Japan are small but the rooms are spacious, so I reserved a single room, but I upgraded to a twin room and used it very spacious and comfortable. It was comfortable and cozy again. Staff was very friendly and of a good standard. Its location is in the middle of Inasayama, so it's hard to walk in the city, but there is no inconvenience for shuttle buses connecting the station to the hotel for people without cars. In addition, the large public bath was used well, and the breakfast was relaxing and delicious.

My family of two seniors, two adults, and two children had stayed at Ooedo for two nights in July 2019. Two rooms were used. One was a Japanese-western room on 6/F and another one was a twin room on 2/F. We arrived at the hotel lately (at about 20:10) and the receptionist advised us to have the buffet dinner first before checking-in. The dining hall had a spectacular night view over the Nagasaki harbor. Wide spread of dishes were served, though refilling was slow (probably due to the approximate end of dinner time). I noticed that the big hotel reception hall (3/F), bathhouses (3/F, and 11/F), and dining hall (4/F) appeared recently renovated. My twin room was also appeared a refurbished one. Whereas the Western-Japanese room was a bit tired. Both rooms gave a nice view on the harbor (to me the view from my 2/F room was good enough). The rooms were very clean also and well equipped. There only two lifts and it might require some waiting time especially during mealtimes and checking-out time. There was a comic book library outside my twin room but I hardly saw anyone there. The room was quiet at night, except with very minor noises from the road and the room fridge. Elevator (that links the 1/F and 3/F) noise, and noise from adjacent rooms were not heard at all. The rooftop onsen was the highlight of the hotel and must not be missed. It really gave a wide and breathtaking view over the whole Nagasaki harbor. During my stay I found that most hotel guests were Japanese families. Staff were all courteous. They always greeted or smiled to us. The receptionist could command basic English. I could use the hotel car park freely. It only took a few minutes to drive to the Dejima Wharf. I am totally satisfied with its food, room, and service. Surely I recommend this hotel for its wonderful view over the Nagasaki harbor. The onsen experience at its rooftop bathhouse is really unparalleled.

When we arrived here, it certainly had the wow factor. The location is really special. There are views and there are views but this view is just unbeatable. High up on a hill, taking in the harbour, Nagasaki , the hills beyond and rural greenery. Oddly , we felt a little lost at first. The hotel didn’t seem to make sense. It is spread out over several buildings, there were hardly any people around and it felt lonely. Our room was on the top floor, had a balcony and was VERY large. The design is minimalist zen and this came down to having few mirrors and, annoyingly, inadequate storage space. The dining options are Japanese gourmet. Everything is best quality. A problem for us was the lack of a cheap, quick eating option but we went with it and enjoyed amazing meals which were of memorial quality. This is a destination hotel and we felt the richer for staying here ( although poorer financially- this is not a cheap option)

Good location, walk down from Nagasaki for 10 minutes. There is a bus stop at the entrance of the hotel, as well as a tram station. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Inaba-san cable car station to see the night view. Hotel facilities are not new, but still as clean and tidy as all Japanese hotels. The hotel lobby is large and quiet. There is also a bakery and the whole family on the first floor, which is extremely convenient. The room is not small, there are some. Breakfast is on the top floor, generally, there is no problem with eating.

It’s okay to bring the child, but the child may not have breakfast (one table per room, two seats per table, you may need to discuss with the clerk), the location of the hotel is good, the tram station and The bus station is next to it, and there is a small parking lot nearby (within 1min on foot)

The service is very, very, very thoughtful and sincere, and the details are expensive. It is worth it! The hotel is directly facing Nagasaki Port. This scenery is definitely not lost to Inasayama, which is equivalent to the cost of visiting Inasayama. It is also comfortable and not tired! The company has three different grades of hotels, the low-end Ctrip is called Nice Card, the middle end is called Mei Songhe, the high-end and most expensive is this Hongye Pavilion, a shuttle bus stops at three places, so pay attention to your designated hotel to get off. . We just got on the wrong car, and went to the first stop at the front desk to finish the team and learned that we had the wrong hotel. We immediately sent us the car and checked in for the service! There are also a lot of kimonos to choose from. Be sure to pay attention to the shuttle schedule. The earliest arrival at Nagasaki Station in the afternoon is four o'clock. The bus that departs to Nagasaki Station at the latest in the morning is around 10 o'clock. It is not recommended to take a taxi to the city because the hotel is halfway up the mountain. Also expensive. The room is large, the tatami beds are so much more, and the family trip is enough. Note that the hotel is not a spa bath.

1. The waiter with a foreigner face at the front desk is nice. Another waiter of Japanese otaku face, the difference between serving Chinese and Japanese is too big? Serving the Japanese nodded enthusiastically, serving the Chinese was a cold face. 2 The restaurant coupon on the hotel room card set, as shown in the picture, this one is very close to the hotel, that is, the Chinese are not allowed to eat, and the chef ca n’t understand if you speak Japanese or English. The noodle shop next to it is nice. Blood on 3 sheets Hotels in Nagasaki can book a night bus 1500 to see the night view The hotel is closer to the station Overall it feels unfriendly to Chinese near this hotel

It’s a brand new hotel that open in December of 2019. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is brand new and the cleaning staff do a great job keeping things clean. The 3rd floor has a lounge, free drinks (coffee & tea) and a little fireside area for couples wanting to spend some quiet time together. There are baths on the 11th floor along with laundry room where you can wash your clothes for free. It also has a lounge with wicker chairs and a huge window overlooking the world below. The rooms are small. I have heard that Some rooms do not have bathing facilities and you must use the 11th floor. So make sure when booking that you get a room with a shower. Did I mention the rooms are small? Cozy rooms however the space constraints will get old after a while. I’m not sure why the safest city in the safest country in the world would need such security. But this hotel will require you to constantly remove your room key & carry it around to use in the elevators. If I was staying in any other country than Japan I would feel this is necessary. If you are a foreigner, living in Japan, be prepared to NOT hand over your alien registration card. I ended up giving them my drivers license. Also if you have tattoos, they will let you go to the bath area but only when there are no Japanese around. So they will ask you if you would like to take a bath at 4’ish in the afternoon which is right before it opens. The breakfast is at a family restaurant called “Joyful”. Not bad the first time but gets old soon. Also if you want to eat dinner there then you must have cash on you. They do not accept credit cards. All in all, not a bad place if you was to stay for a bit but not for an extended stay.

At first glance, it seems to be an old hotel, but soon after I entered, I felt ”this is a good hotel”. The front desk staff is smiling and the response is perfect. Although the building is old, it seems that things that can be updated, such as interior and air conditioning, have been updated. Cleaning is also fine and there is a feeling of cleanliness that can cover the oldness enough. From a little service, devising, posting, etc., I felt the care to connect to the satisfaction of the customer, and it became a comfortable stay. It is located on a small hill and you will walk up from Nagasaki station and bus terminal, but if it is not bitter, it is recommended.

Pension Baden Heim is run by a friendly and hospitable family who will go above and beyond to take care of you. We stayed from December 31st to January 2nd. The rooms are warm, with cozy bedding, the public shower and bathroom spacious and clean. Breakfast, served by the lady of the house, is worth the extra charge (coffee or tea, omelet, various meats and fruits with a side of breads and jams). They are knowledgeable of the city and will help you out with finding places to visit, where to eat, where to shop and how to get around. The location is also great. A short walk from Temple Town (寺町) and 15 minutes to the station, it's also very close to the popular history and culture museum, and a trolley line that can take you to Dejima, China Town or the Peace Park and Atomic Bomb Museum. I'd recommend a stay at Pension Baden Heim.

At the midway between several concepts, Haph is very well located next to the glass bridge and the covered market. The building mixes several concepts: a bar and a shop below, a conference room and a collaborative workplace (with a tent for creativity), The hotel is located in the centre of the city centre, with spacious rooms (the showers and toilets are collective). Two bemols ... the cleaned ”banhaus” style construction makes Madame Butterfly have heard all water flows (so foresee boiling balls) and breakfast is not suitable ( sauces) and coffee is really bad. It was the first time to stay in 2 in the introduction of the business trip and the customer for the first time in half a year (the last time was terrible, but this time was terrible). I have lived in Taiwan and I am used to the oldness of the building...the wallpaper on the ceiling is peeled off and the drain of the bathtub does not flow. The shower is chorochoro. At night, other rooms are toilets? When you use it, it sounds like ”Bakkin! Bakkin!”. The floor is so wet that the condensation is terrible and I asked the staff (the hotel in Nagasaki City is condensation everywhere). It was said that the condensation can be prevented. The whole building is moldy. I recommend that you get a neat dealer to see it. Maybe there is a situation... The colleague who stayed at other hotels put a car in the hotel parking lot, and the staff was awesome... The parking lot may be a reservation system. It may be better to check if you come by car. The taxi was usually passing. I will come to Nagasaki after half a year, but I don't think I will use it again.
