Yes, overall outlook was from the previous generation, but it was neat and clean. Room was definitely more spacious compared to some standard ones in Japan. The hotel aged well, chipped paint was not affecting my stay at all.
They provided iced water in a thermo and it kept well into the next day. The bathroom looked newly renovated. One day I didn’t need cleaning service and they hung clean towels in a bag by my door. Breakfast was a nice start to my day. I would return here next time if my trip needs a base around this area.

It was a bit of a trek to Namba Station, about a 20-minute walk at my pace, which could be tough on cold or long walking days, but overall, I was really satisfied with the accommodation! However, since there's a subway station close by, I think it wouldn't be an issue if you're willing to transfer. I was worried about the cold since it was winter, but the heater was already on when I arrived, making it super warm, and the ventilation system ran 24/7, which was great. Having several convenience stores nearby was also a plus. I was so satisfied that if I come to Osaka again, I'd definitely want to stay here once more.

For families with young children, I'd advise caution, as the walk back after a day of shopping might just make you want to stay in. Skip the hotel breakfast; at 100 RMB per person, you'd get far better value by simply grabbing something from a convenience store. The drinks selection at the happy hour/lounge was decent, but the snack options were very sparse. The room was only cleaned once during our four-day stay. What's more, upon check-in, we found the room to be quite dirty; the crevices of the sofa near the window and the corners of the bed were filthy. All in all, I definitely wouldn't stay here again.

Installations and the concept is amazing.
The room is spacious with amazing city view. The bed is huge and super comfortable, also pillows are kinda clouds. Loved that.
The reception always ready to help. But at the check out hour there’s a long line, so to avoid it I checked out earlier.
That was pros. Now cons.
Cleaning service always forgets something. Like one day I didn’t find cotton buds, another day they didn’t put the toilet paper etc. For such a class of the hotel it’s unacceptable.
Also there’s no iron and iron desk in a room so you should ask to bring it and if it’s peak hour you should wait some hours. Unacceptable again.
Location isn’t really wow because all the restaurants and activities and shopping are away and at the peak hours the subway is super crowded because the hotel located in the business area.
Overall, the hotel is really nice but cons are bigger so I would not stay there again.
Shinsaibashi area looks more attractive for me, also there’s another Candeo in that area so next time I’ll try to stay there.

Disadvantage 1: It is far from the subway station (Nanhaianli/Tianxiachawu), which takes about 15 minutes to walk, which undoubtedly increases the burden for special forces (30 minutes more walking every day)
The second shortcoming: the sound insulation is not very good. At night, there will be Japanese ghost-fire boys riding motorcycles on the street next to you, which will affect your sleep, but the probability of this happening is low (25%). The most serious shortcoming is the following
The third shortcoming: the bedroom curtains provide almost no light blocking. I don't know what material it is. Although it has two layers, it does not provide any sun protection at all (maybe because the area is not enough?). I am woken up by the bright sunlight at five or six every morning, so I have to buy an eye mask and earplugs to fall asleep.
I hope the hotel will seriously improve! It is especially recommended to replace the curtains! First, do the most basic things of the hotel well so that guests can get a good sleep, and then consider other things.

Is also near to multiple convenience stores, including 7-Eleven and Family mart which is great for late night snacks. Also nearby are multiple restaurants that are worth the visit. The hotel offers cultural activities in the form of either takoyaki making or calligraphy on alternate days, but in the afternoon, so if you have a lazy day, you can consider. Housekeeping was great, they will clean the room daily as long as you put a notice that housekeeping is required. If you didn't, they will still provide new towels and water outside your door. Main con of the hotel - no smart TV and only Japanese channels. We ended up not using the TV at all. Service is soso, where I noted that when we came in the rain, they were drying the luggages that arrived through delivery service, but didn't assist to help with ours as we checked in, which was a bit of a downer.

It was such a relief not to have to hand-wash clothes while on the go, and having a balcony to dry clothes on made things even easier.
I only packed two outfits for this trip to Japan. After checking in, I immediately headed to the Life supermarket just around the corner to stock up, where I discovered many useful daily essentials. I picked up all sorts of food every day, and the prices were quite reasonable. Cooking Wagyu beef I bought there myself was an absolute steal!
Transportation was incredibly convenient. Tamatsukuri Station was only about a ten-minute walk away, and Morinomiya was also within easy walking distance. I even spotted an SL63 parked right downstairs!

There were thoughtfully placed umbrellas at the entrance for guests. The elevator required a room card to go up, which felt very secure. However, I have to complain about the TV and internet – they were really bad, incomparable to the Henn na Hotel in Asakusabashi, Tokyo. The TV had very few channels, and I couldn't even connect my home camera! The bathroom had a dry/wet separation, but the toilet paper holder was placed in a spot where it was easy to bump into, which wasn't very practical. On the plus side, the bathtub was huge! Downstairs in the lobby, they offered drinks and snacks for guests (there were seasonal limited-time options!), definitely worth trying – they were really good!
Cleanliness: I saw many cleaning staff around the hotel, and they cleaned the room almost every day, so it was very clean.
Environment: During my stay, there was construction next door, which was a bit noisy. Also, my room faced the elevator, and the constant coming and going of people seriously affected my sleep.
Service: The lady making rice balls downstairs in the morning was lovely. She was very enthusiastic, chatted with me, helped answer my questions, and assisted with inquiries from the staff.
