The location was great. The rooms are large and the night view is beautiful! I was very impressed by the rising sun from the front in the morning! I broke the glass in the bathroom, but he came to clean it immediately and cleaned it very carefully. Thank you very much! I was relieved from the stress of the corona sickness for a while, and I was able to stay with peace of mind because it was clean and had good measures against corona. It is a hotel that I definitely want to stay at!

We choose this hotel because of its location near the cruise ship terminal. You can see the cruise ships at the terminal from the hotel. If you plan to have breakfast in the morning, prepay for the breakfast. It is a very nice buffet from 7 to 10 AM. Our room was comfortable and well equipped except for 2 issues. When we arrive late afternoon it was very hot, because the air conditioning turns off when no one is in the room. It took quite a while to cool off - about 30 minutes to an hour. The second issue is the internet. There are two ways to access. We tried going in thru the “new Otani inn” and had intermittent success. The front desk advised us to go thru the room number that has a password on the TV. I had to actively share the access with my spouse. Both of us got on with our iPads, but I never could get in either way with my iPhone XR. The WiFi worked best in the middle of the night. The hotel is adjacent to the Sakuragicho train station. You have to exit the station towards the water and turn left. There is a shopping center building with an escalator going up one side to your right as you face the building. When you get to the top of the escalator turn left into the hotel lobby, which is on the 3rd floor. The express train from Narita airport goes to the Yokohama station, not to the Sakuragicho station. To get to Sakuragicho from the Yokohama station take the blue train from platform 3 and go one stop. The room is compact, but has lots of amenities, a fancy Japanese toilet/bidet, good shower and good lighting in the bathroom. The twin sized beds are comfortable. There is a safe, refrigerator and wrapped toothbrushes, Qtips, plastic brushes, etc. the shampoo etc are in large containers.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights having just arrived into Japan for the RWC. First impressions were as expected - a large modern hotel in a good location, though probably more aimed at business travellers than tourists. The service was fine, the hotel very clean and the room a very good size in terms of what I'd heard about Japanese bedrooms (better than I've since experienced in Tokyo). I booked a superior room so I guess this was expected. Location is good as it's part of a large shopping complex and next to some good areas for eating. A very short walk to the metro, literally metres, and a slightly longer walk to the bars and other shops within Minato Mirai. A really clean and vibrant area, allowing access to other Yokohama areas within minutes. Can't fault it really.

One of the worst hotels I've stayed at, but i think it's good value. This is the cheapest hotel I've stayed at in japan aside from a capsule hotel. Capsule hotels go from $15-40. This hotel was only $35/night. You get your own space for $35. Id stay here over a fancy capsule hotel where I can hear everyone snoring and moving around. Service is good and the hotel staff is trying. Ochazuke nights, bunch of manga for you to read, different pillows to choose from. Ok, let's start with the elevator that sounds like it's going to break down or fall. I tried using the lamp in the room and the cable ripped off. Black dye or mold on both the shower curtain and the room curtain. Cracks around the sink. I had to spin the faucet a few times to get full water pressure. Holes in the bed sheets. Slow internet. I just used my pocket WiFi. Neighbors? Yea, I heard them arguing or snoring every night. This place just needs a fresh remodel. Location isn't the most convenient, but a short walk. You have to walk about 5-10 mins to get to the fun parts of sakuragicho. Nearest combini is about 1-2 mins away. This place gets the job done, but if you're traveling, I would consider other hotels even for slightly more.

Location was perfect as hotel was just walking distance to Sakuragicho station and link via a bridge. Lobby is at level 5. Sign to the lift was a little misleading but we managed to find it. And there is 7-11 right below in case you are hungry. Hotel is walkable to many malls. We especially loved the night scenery there. Room size was acceptable and rooms generally clean. Make sure to put in a note that you require a non-smoking room as we didn’t and had to stay in a smoking room as the receptionist said that there was no non-smoking room when we returned at night although we were there early in the morning to check in and left our luggages there.

This is an old-fashioned five-star hotel. The rooms have been renovated, and the toilet is automatically opened. During the epidemic, the temperature measurement and disinfection were done well. The breakfast is rich and the room size is moderate. This time, it is scheduled for October 1st through Ctrip. Looking at the street view room on the second day, the night view of the Ferris wheel is right in front of you. It is very convenient to eat and buy around. There is a playground around, you can also take your children, recommended

Convenient transportation, convenient shopping, and a good environment! Go back to the hotel in the middle of the night, and the law and order is very good! Only the bathroom in the room is smaller, and it is better if the room price is cheaper.

I stayed here for 5 nights and found the staff very effient, helpful and friendly. The room is compact and takes some getting used to especially if there are 2 of you? there are no wardrobes and only one small drawer. However it does for you to be tidy? the rooms are clean, well appointed and with good cosmetics and free bottled water everyday. i did not pre-book breakfast but did visit twice. there was a vast selection buffet, some recognisable some was not? it was all very good qualiy and i thought represented great value for money. there is also free coffee 24 hours a ay on floor 2. all in all very good

The reality is that there are many hotels in Japan that are priced in this range (Except Saturdays - Much higher) with similar amenities. Location wise, its proximity a few minutes walk to JR station and to Minato Mirai are fantastic. The term "resort" is a stretch by most standards but the rooms are very nice, average by Japanese standards and offer what you would expect from most hotels. Mid-week prices are a bargain for what you receive. Food and entertainment for all ages are walking distance, including some of the nicest malls in Landmark and Queens Malls... Akarenga is also a great shopping mall for the unusual...If you take the right train, Tokyo and Shibuya are within 30 minutes by train. If you are expecting a "resort" you'll be hard pressed to find one on Metro Tokyo/Yokohama... If you are looking for a nice hotel with great transport access, this will fit the bill...Nicely. I have probably spent several hundred nights in Japan over the past decades, and this one is definitely top 10 - 20% in its class for value and location. It will put to shame what most top cities in the world will provide for $60 - $80 per night mid-week...In NYC, I'd probably pay $250 for the same... Many complaints address "smoking rooms" don't expect to ever reserve a smoking room because its cheaper with the hope of transferring to a "non-smoking " room at check in... Won't happen! Rooms are Japanese or European sized, but the amenities and hotel in general will blow them away.

The hotel is very clean and the room is a bit small. Breakfast is a rice ball and miso soup. It is very special and can be eaten compared to other Western breakfasts in other hotels. The side dishes are different every day, that is, there is no green vegetables.

This hotel feels like a Japanese hotel designed by Scandinavians. I love it; it's the favourite hotel so far in two trips to Japan. The hotel room was a reasonable size (by Japanese standards a large room) and was very well-designed so there was space for everything. It included a workdesk area and a chair with a side table by the window. Everything was very clean. Where the 'Scandinavian' part comes in is the furniture, a teak/ivory colour with simple lines, and the style, an overall light airy feel to the room. The bathroom was spacious by Japanese standards, with a tub with shower, and was spotlessly clean. A very useful feature of this hotel is their reasonably-priced self-service laundry room, which was easy to use. The buffet breakfast was very good, and there were lots of tables for one or two people, which is convenient for solo travellers. All people I dealt with at reception were efficient and spoke good English. The location was great, I felt, as it is right at the Shin-Yokohama station (great for access to the Shinkansen). The hotel lobby is on the 10th floor, and the breakfast room is on the 12th floor. There is a shopping mall on the lower floors of the building, with numerous shops, including a large grocery store on the second floor where I bought a Bento box for supper. Access into downtown Yokohama is easy, as the subway station is in the basement of the building. The trip to downtown Yokohama takes about 15 minutes. If I was in the area, I would certainly stay here again.

There are only a few reasons to be in Shin-Yokohama... Either your business trip makes it convenient, you plan on taking an early/late shinkansen train or in my case its close to my family... This has a great shopping and eating district all nearby but unless you are Japanese, little else... The hotel itself has reasonable sized rooms for Japan that are modern, have good amenities, and with fabulous views when the weather permits regardless of what direction you face...It's in a huge mall, so you will not starve or be bored... It does offer the fastest trip to Tokyo by train (18 minutes) by Shinkansen to Tokyo station from Yokohama... The prices are super reasonable for what you get and where you are (except Saturday- Japanese date night), just don't expect interesting places to visit nearby... In perspective you would spend $200 plus weekdays for an equivalent hotel in most major US cities or Europe...So its a bargain for what you pay for.

Praise! In Japan, this room is ok, at least two large 26-inch suitcases can be opened. The most perfect thing was that every day when I checked in, I was given a mask of beauty and beauty. It was super happy. And the ear-coffee coffee delivered by the hotel front desk also tastes special, and a cup every morning is perfect. It's a little far from the subway station, but it's ok. The hotel is in the middle of Sariya and 711, so seeing Sariya every day is equivalent to returning home. If you come to Yokohama next time, you can consider this hotel ~

Keikyu Tsurumi is not far from the station. The room was not facing the track, it should be an apartment change. No carpet. . . The floor looks dirty 2F is close to the restaurant on the first floor and will smell the taste of the restaurant below. . . At 17 o'clock in the evening of the check-in, I still cleaned the room and didn't feel good: ( However, the price is low, if you go to Haneda Airport, this hotel is OK.
