The woman working the front desk was very pleasant and nice. However when we got to our room, it appeared that the sheets had not been changed on our king bed. When I called down, she was very embarrassed and brought clean ones up herself. When we remade the bed, the blanket was so small that it barely covered the top of the mattress with no hangover - probably a full size blanket on a king. I did sleep well, the mattress was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean. One electrical outlet and one lamp did not work and there was something sticky on the carpet by the side of the bed. Very small continental breakfast.

This place was convenient as we traVELED FROM THE SFO Airoport back to our home in Oregon. Easy to find and close to the exit off I-5. It has all the conveniences you would expect from a lower priced motes. That is if you think 100 bucks is cheap, I guess it is now days. We trusted Agoda for the reservation and even got a confirmation but in the 12 hours since we booked it the motel still hadn’t gotten the confirmation. AGODA had sent us an email to varify our personal information we were supposed to respond to while cruising over the Pacific at 37,000 feet. Imagine that holding up notice to the motel. Our crediticard even showed a charge for the stay. So long AGODA.

After spending about 7 and a half hours in the car, we got to Vacaville and what a delight to be staying here! We arrived at the front desk and the super lady at the desk informed us that we were upgraded! We got a double suite and it was wonderful. Everything was so clean and had no trouble whatsoever. The front desk had informed us where we should eat and what to order when we get there! The location was centrally located to the factory outlet, and other shopping.

Switched from Courtyard because Fairfield reviews said newly remodeled. It is, but there were already brown stains on room carpet already making the room look unclean and old. They charge $10 for parking but don't tell you. First time I was not offered a print of my bill when checking out, guess that's why. I looked back on website and if you drill down on "All hotel details" it does say they charge for parking - first Fairfield I've seen do that. Breakfast first morning terrible - came down at 9:30 and bins empty (fruit and pastry bins) and area looked like windstorm hit. We did have waffle - while we were eating two kids came in, looked around, asked if they missed breakfast and staff said "yes". It was only about 9:45 and breakfast was until 10. Next day breakfast so crowded at 9, we came back down at 9:30 and everything was stocked this time. Also, when checking out, cleaning staff was pulling a big bag of garbage down the hall that was leaking something on the carpet all the way down the hall. One positive - great new design for shower. Very disappointed with stay and will not return.

We stayed here while our new home was finished being remodeled in Sacramento. We needed a place to stay temporarily due to the remodel delay. This place fit the bill as it was 1/2 way between our home we sold in Walnut Creek and our new home in Sacramento. First off, the staff here has been wonderful. They were nice, responsive and were very eager to assist when asked. The property on the outside is okay. At first glance, it's clean and safe. You have easy access to the freeway, to local restaurants and shopping if needed. The hotel is advertised as non-smoking, however, there are a lot of people outside who stand by their cars (or other people's cars) and smoke cigarettes and throw their butts on the ground. Just beware you will smell cigarette smoke in the hotel because of this. I'm a former smoker and so I am especially aware of those who are smokers. You can smell a distinct cigarette odor through the hotel. It sort of reminds me of a casino. Now for the interior...this is where you get what you pay for. The interior has definitely seen better days and could probably do with a good cleaning and/or a good remodel. The hotel interior is very dark (dark walls, dark carpets, poor lighting, etc.) which gives off a drab feeling. The check-in process, however, was seamless and we were checked in and handing the keys to our room within 10 minutes of being helped. Our room was located on the 3rd floor and there was a distinct "curry" odor that hit you when you came off the elevator. Our room also had a distinct odor. You could still smell the cigarette odor from the previous occupants. I assume that the previous occupants did not smoke in the room but I'm suspicious. We had to purchase Fabreeze and fragrance oils to get rid of the smell. The room was clean but it was definitely dated! The kitchenette needs a definite remodel. The cabinets, the counter, the burner, and the refrigerator have all seen better days! I was a little put off when I looked under the vent hood about the stove and saw how rusted and dingy it looked. I ended up cleaning everything to make sure it was okay to cook our dinners here. You have access to supplies for the kitchenette but you have to go downstairs to the front desk and request items like plates, utensils, dish towels, knives, cutting boards, etc. We just went to the Dollar Store down the street and purchased items we needed for our short stay. Paper plates, cups, plastic utensils, cooking utensils, etc. could be had at that store. We donated everything after our stay at the local Goodwill center. Would I recommend this place? I think if you're looking for a temporary place that has easy access to the freeway and has a lot of restaurant and shopping options nearby, this place fits the bill. I don't know that we would stay at another Extended Stay America property unless we were in the middle of a move. If you are looking for a temporary home for anything more t
