I loved the atmosphere of the hotel - high ceilings, wooden floors, old elevator, worn wood wall panels in the bar/breakfast area. Very comfortable, clean, well appointed rooms, friendly staff. Smallish room, which was fine for me. Just an all around pleasant experience for me. The one small drawback was the ”rainfall” shower head, which was on an unnecessarily tall goose neck, was so high that I could hardly reach it to tilt it a bit so the water didn't fall so close to the valve (wouldn't have mattered - it was rigid), which meant warm water cooled before it reached my body. Also, I would have liked to have been able to open the windows just a little for fresh air. Well, okay, another drawback was the construction going on at a nearby site, which meant noise, even at night. Didn't keep me from getting a good rest, though.

Friendly desk staff. The building is old but the elevator is atmosphere and pretty. In the room I was a little worried about the air conditioning noise. I heard a little bit even though I was squeezed. San Francisco lacks parking space, but I had a good parking lot around the hotel, and the parking lot of the hotel affiliated parking lot was a bit expensive, but still (thanks to that) Efficiently, I could save as much money as I could. Best service beyond the shortcomings! Breakfast service. Really delicious ~~ ^^ And the hot water pressure was great ♡ I'm going to this hotel again.

I recently stayed at this hotel while on a business trip, and a moust say that the staff, expecially at the fron desk[hats off to them], were not only courteous, but certainly made my stay a relaxing and fun one. I also had the previlege of meeting the GM. An absolutely lovely person. Overall a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced, comfortable hotel. Well Done SF Plaza!

The location is very good, the traffic is convenient, the room is small, but it is very clean. It is safer to enter the password at the entrance of the hotel. It is the street, it is noisy, and the refrigerator next time will sound from time to time. If you are easily woken up, friends are not recommended here. The room plug I stayed in was far from the bed and it was not very convenient to play with the phone. The hotel can book a shuttle at the airport here, which is very convenient. Personally feel that it is suitable for a day to make a transfer, after all, there is no separate bathroom is not very convenient. The next time you fly, you should still choose to live here.

Convenient transportation, the surrounding environment is relatively good. The United States has stayed in many city hotels for heating only... booked 2 people in the double room and the 1.2m size single bed... If 2 adults stay, remember to book a twin room, free coffee in the first floor lobby for 24 hours. boiling water

Another disappointing experience. The booking price was more than 4,000 and one night. I thought it was better than Liz. The result was that I found a Samsung hotel and the front desk offered two thousand. Two big and one small gave two single bed rooms, the front desk means to act according to the order. She has no responsibility. The room we booked is wrong. The problem is that Ctrip can answer that I have paid such a high price. I can't get the corresponding service because I chose the wrong one? At checkout, there was an additional $30 in facility fees per day, but the Ritz Hotel did not. According to Ctrip's regulations, this fee is paid separately by me. Ctrip defines the rules as perfect for themselves, without any problems. I just want to remind you that it is very simple for me. I paid a high premium. My expectation is to get better service. I can live comfortably in two big and small, I will not spend too much time researching. How big is the bed, and there is an extra cost to pay. Where can I provide a satisfactory reservation service, I am going to book it, but Ctrip is obviously not. Thank you, goodbye Ctrip.

average visit, maybe I expected more given their reputation. I visited SF for a two-day concert so I expected not to stay too much in my room anyways. Picked the Ritz primarily for the location. Also this was my first time staying under my own name so always wanted to get the welcome envelope with my name on it. (They misspelled it 😔) Booked via Amex’s FHR primarily for the early check-in at around noon and late checkout. I received an upgrade to a City View room but I must’ve arrived too early because my room was not really prepared. It had a few missing amenities like slippers, dental kits, combs etc. No welcome gifts other than chocolate. Only ate breakfast there but food is okay. Great portions though! Most of the time, I left the hotel at 10/11am and came back after midnight. One time no valet was there to pick up my car so had to call and request someone to pickup my car. Otherwise, all other services and staff were pleasant. The bedding and Frette linens were fantastic and it helped me sleep well. You also get a bottle of water EVERYTIME you pick up your car from the valet! I actually really like this since the only thing I could bring to the venue were sealed water bottles! Wifi was good, great for work and meetings. For a 5-star hotel, it wasn’t amazing compared to what I had heard. Might pass next time I’m in SF.

As an added bonus, we arrived during Happy Hours so started our Staycation with complimentary beer and wine! Great location near Dragon’s Gate to China Town and a short walk to Union Square. Our room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. If planning a stay in San Francisco Hotel Triton is hard to beat! While it was our first stay here, it definitely won’t be our last.

My room and furnishings were acceptable for my four day business stay. The room door has large gaps around it, though. This permits all hallway noise to be heard in the room. Worse, it allows all the ********* smoke into the room. My coworker was two floors up from me and complainedbabout the same issue I had trouble sleeping because the ********* smoke was so thick in my room. I stuck a towel under the room door, where the biggest gap was, but I had nothing to block the gaps on the top or the sides of the door. Without the ********* smoke issue and some noise issues, I would recommend Hotel Icon to male travelers.

Hotel location is good, not far from the subway station, cable car station, Union Square, but there are a lot of black people nearby, rude behavior, giving people a sense of insecurity, travel must be careful. The room has a microwave and refrigerator for your convenience. But the entire building and the room were very poorly ventilated and stinking. The service is very poor. If you don't pay attention, the service staff will yell, the deposit fee is too high, and a baggage fee is 30 yuan. The impression is too bad. You will not visit this hotel again.

Motel in good position along Lombard Street. With a walk of 20-30 minutes you arrive in the center, Pier area. We have been two days. A quite large, well clean room (even though almost unmistakable moquette), equipped with various necessary accessories. Parking present without problems of crowding, there are free spaces on the border also on the street. It is not cheap but given the prices of San Francisco has a good quality-price ratio. Breakfast is not present. The basic breakfast would be appreciated as it was probably offered once (see photos)

This hotel is under new management so we couldn't see many reviews before booking but it was a great experience! the self check-in was a breeze (we received all the info in an email) and our room was nice and clean. The room is cozy but normal size for SF and if we needed a little more space we just went down to the lobby lounge area. There was wifi in the room and in the lobby area. The kitchen was super convenient to make a quick breakfast. We didn't use the washer/dryers but if we stayed longer we probably would have. We could walk to Union Square and there is also a Trader Joe's a couple blocks away. It was a perfect place to stay for a couple of nights!

We came into the city for a Giants versus Dodgers game at Oracle Park. This funky little hotel was within a long walk’s distance, just over a mile, and had parking $20 cheaper than the stadium! Our room was clean but we had to ask for a second bath towel and there was no decaf coffee available in room, but we could get some for breakfast downstairs. We appreciated the carport which was dated overnight and the staff was super friendly. We would stay there again for a quick visit.

My parents and I enjoyed our stay at HUS. The staff were enthusiastic and helpful. They have an option where they can send you text messages to check up on you. The room was clean and organized. I would agree with other reviews that there was a slight smell to the room, probably because the building is so old. Nonetheless, the hotel was a good value for the money and the location was great! We bought the parking package online that included valet parking, which helped save us 50% of the parking costs. When parking, there are a few curbside spaces right in front of the hotel off of Powell St. We didn't know if we could drive onto Powell St., since the public transit rail goes right through the street, but yes, we are allowed to drive onto that street. Also, the hotel stay required us a $100 deposit that gets refunded when we finish our stay without causing damage.

Four Seasons at Embarcadero was simply not worthy of a five-stars hotel. I’ve even completed a survey at the end of our stay which not the general manager reached out instead the administrative assistant. After my message revealing it was a generic response from her, she ghosted right after. Do you think that warranted five-stars for ghosting a guest that just stayed at your property? No. Obviously they simply do not care, which was an utter shame. In addition to that, the check-in process was a complete mess (checking in twice on the same day), room wasn’t ready close to 5pm (despite being asked by their team a couple of days when we will be arriving) and customer service simply was not that of five-stars. Sure, the suite was lovely and so were the corner views but despite how well done those points were - without customer service and being organized and on top of your game, it didn’t warrant five stars at all for a Four Seasons property. For such a pretty penny, this felt like highway robbery.

The location is perfect, easy to access all the famous spots in SF. Overall service was also nice. However, the facilities in the bathroom need to replace with new ones, or, at least, it needs to be fixed. 1. the drain in the sink was clogged, so water went down slowly. 2. I hoped to take a rest from the fatigue of my long journey with a lower-body bath, but it was almost impossible since the tub cap looks like broken, and the water in the tub kept leaking. It was a somewhat disappointing experience considering the hotel is regarded as the best one in SF.

There is a (really) young lady on reception/check-in, she is lovely and I don't want to knock her, but she needs more training, her default is to say no to everything, not because she is being difficult, I just don't think she has the knowledge or authority to find solutions. It makes it frustrating for me as the customer and I'm sure, for her, trying to deal with people and not resolving issues. It makes you avoid her and wait for someone else to deal with. The Concierge and Valet Parking staff were brilliant, took away all the thinking on parking and restaurants etc. We would definitely stay here again if in San Fransisco

If you are adventurous, you can actually walk to the Downtown. I had to check in early as my flight landed a bit advance. They allowed me to early check in at a nominal fee which is totally acceptable. Also the cityscape view from hotel is amazing! I don’t know how, but people who work on the front desk either don’t communicate between each other or don’t speak good english. I accidentaly left a jacket in the hotel and noticed it the day after checking out. I immediately contacted the hotel and when they told me they found it, I arranged the postal service to pick it up and send it to me (even though I still don’t understand why I had to arrange everything instead of the hotel sending it to me). I had some trouble with the postal service so I figured out it would be easier if my friend that just arrived to SF picked it up for me. So they called the hotel, quite a few times. Every time the front desk would give a different response (first, that they have the jacket, then that they don’t, then that they DON’T KNOW if they have it….) and then the last: we have it, you can come pick it up. My friend came the next day and got yelled at, that they don’t have the jacket and how SHE DARES COMMING a month after I checked out. I have to mention that I tried e-mailing the hotel a few times, but it seems that they don’t check the only e-mail adress they have. Since it seems that I have to give up my brand new jacket (I live in Europe and I don’t know if I will ever be back there), this is the only thing I could’ve done. The hotel itself is okay, rooms and beds are just fine.

I used to be a frequent guest at the W SF back when it was Starwood but had not visited since Marriott took over the W Brand. I did try and stay last year but before arriving I read that the restaurant was closed and I asked the hotel what they were doing as an alternative, but they had absolutely nothing for Platinum Breakfast (other than 1k points per stay which is a HUGE downgrade), so I opted for another hotel. I had high expectations for this stay as I had previously loved this hotel, but as a frequent traveler in Marriott brands and having one of their Highest Elite traveler statuses (and staying at W Brands lately), I knew service levels were still suffering post pandemic. Unfortunately, it started low right from the beginning. I had confirmed a Studio Suite in advance. When I arrived, I was given a corner room that almost seemed smaller than standard rooms (Room 2109). I inquired about upgrades to larger rooms, and I was told no, because it was a busy weekend, and nothing would be available. I checked on the app and saw that every room type was available for the length of my stay and beyond. I was basically DOWNGRADED. Once settling into the room, then I realized the major issues. Smaller rooms should be easier to clean, right? Well, this one not only had carpet stains, but I quickly found out that the ”Marriott Commitment to Clean” was actually a Commitment to Ignore. Not only were their stains on the carpet and dust and dirt in the windowsills, I found a previous guest's room keys sitting on the counter. Obviously, the room was just ”re-set” and not inspected or cleaned at all. I guess the promised sanitizing was out of the question. We then went to get some ice and noticed that the ice bucket was half filled with standing water. It was disgusting! Thats not the worst part, I then found a pair of women's ”play-style” lingerie slightly soiled sitting on the floor by the sofa. I mentioned the cleanliness issues to the Front Desk, but the representative simply stared at me and then asked if there was anything else I needed? I should have been a bit more insistent that they take it down, but I was so shocked I did not. The room setup, although smaller than what I wanted and pre-confirmed, was also not great. There is no storage at all other than the closet. There are no drawers at all or other places to keep clothes or anything else. If you have two suitcases, you are going to have to keep them out as there is no place to put them in the closet. Other than the Front Desk and Room Condition, we had a nice stay, although the Room is really what we paid for. The rest of the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were great, and the food was amazing! Kudos for them for sure! Actually, the only place I was every recognized or thanked for being a Marriott Elite was from the hostess at Breakfast. There were remarkable problems. 1) ”Free” parking meant, ”don't use your car or you may come back to a full lot”. 2) There were NO drawers. I am serious. nothing under the TV, no side tables, and nothing in the closet. I have never stayed in a place with no drawers! 3) Did I say no side tables? There were little wooden ”flappers” nailed into the bedstead on each side maybe to place a drink. And one of them was cracked so we had to use a suitcase as a night stand. 4) Three hangers in the closet, and the closet door alternated as a bathroom door depending on your needs. So this place is right on the wharf, location-location, but it sucks. We managed to get out of our reserves for only one extra night penalty and move several blocks away to a Travelodge (Lombard St) which was the same price with none of these problems. Please stay away from the Wharf Inn and enjoy your stay.
