The rooms were clean and spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a much appreciated/needed balcony for drying the soaking clothes after our rainy hike. The service was quick and friendly, starting with the very nice security guard at the gate and ending with the front desk employees who were efficient and polite. The only real downside was that the hot water wasn't really working well at all in the shower, which was a bit of an issue considering I was in dire need of a good shower after my hike. But overall, a great value for anyone looking to stay in downtown Kathmandu in a convenient location!

A fantastic hotel with beautiful architecture and wooden detailing. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Free yoga in the morning on the rooftop and a walking tour is provided upon request. The rooms are large with lots of light. The bathroom is functional with good water pressure. For winter, an electric blanket, portable heater and hot water bottles are supplied. Delicious and well priced breakfast. Amazing value for money.

Osho Home is not a luxury hotel, but they are trying their best to make your stay comfortable. I got a nice room with a sitting area, a kettle, tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean and--what important in Nepal--water was really hot and I had not to wait for it as it often happens. The location of the hotel is perfect: it's in Thamel but not on a busy street. So, everything is easily accessible but no noise in the room.

I’ve been to Nepal before and chose to stay in the Thamel area again. Kantipur has a lovely breakfast and gave optional for take-away since I traveled to Chitwan. They held my bags in between the two separate hotel stays. Security and Reception were very helpful. The rooms are large with unique decor. Bed very comfortable. Rooftop a nice spot for a drink. Always love Nepal snd the shops in Thamel. Namaste!!

Our trip was made even better by this hotel. We were treated to a welcome drink at check-in, which created a great mood. I liked that the prices in the minibar were not exorbitant, but quite reasonable. The view from the room to the valley was simply stunning! The staff was polite and helpful, always ready to help. There are many cafes and restaurants around the hotel, so there is always a place to eat deliciously. But the best thing is the roof! There you can not only admire the views, but also enjoy the food. By the way, in the summer you can swim in the pool. The breakfast was very tasty and filling, the buffet is beyond praise. My wife and I were very pleased and will definitely come back here again.

Location is superb, right in the middle of Kathmandu, walking distance to Thamel. Other interesting landmarks are easy to reach with the helpful taxi drivers (always present outside the gates). Hotel staff are very kind, sincerely engage in conversation and helpful in providing tourist information. Rooms are cost and warm decorated. Hotel has a beautiful garden suitable for a relaxing stroll. Swimming pool is nice and very clean! I highly recommend this hotel above other hotels in Kathmandu. Front counter staff members are friendly, helpful and cooperative particularly Avishek (if I remember correctly his name) was fantastic and exceptional customer service. I should mention Salim who cleaned our room was very very polite, friendly and helpful. The room is big but the down size is the shower over bath. Bath tub is tiny and water does not go down to the drainage pipe caused water clogged. The breakfast items were limited and does not reflect five star standard. However the General Manger should look the breakfast menu by himself and should take appropriate action.

Radisson is a top notch hotel with a good location near the tourist district and close to many restaurants and shops. The breakfast is expansive with everything from fruit to meats and cheeses, but it is a bit expensive to include it in your room plan. The room is very comfortable with a nice bed and linens. My only suggestion would be to take a second look in the tub/shower. There is mold in the tile grout lines and in the nonslip mat.

Location is in the center of Tamil, it is already the third time to stay - opposite is the supermarket, downstairs is the bakery, change money to Phoenix, the boss will be simple Chinese, breakfast is OK ~ nearby Thai food, Nepalese food, Chinese restaurants line up ~ price Also, the bath water is big enough to be hot enough, that is, the opposite bar may have a bit of noise in the evening. But it doesn't hide, Tamil is like this~ It is still very recommended. After all, the boss is very friendly to the Chinese~

We knew the service would be good as soon as we booked, and within hours we received a welcome email, listing the ways we could contact them if we needed to. On the pick up at the airport, they were speedy and efficient and the taxi ride only took us 20 minutes with traffic. As we walked through the door we were blown away by the interior decoration, only then to find that hotel had been a former palace! Historic artifacts and pictures were strewn through the hallways and the outside only matched the royal feel with perfection. We stayed in the royal suite, with a big bed and balcony. The staff were great, the breakfast was standard for off peak times and although the location isn't in the depth of Thamel, the area most will go out for eating and drinking, it was within 30 minutes drive of most landmarks and as it was the ambassedy/ office worker area, there was a nice vibe. There were some things that can't be controlled. The hotel did a good job of providing heat as the weather in February is still chilly. The pollution was real. Especially as you walk nearer the streets, something to think about if you are sensitive to this. Apart from that, It was all really wonderful. Niraj Yadav the receptionist and the team, we thank you dearly.

The location is great near the embassies and walkable tourist sites nearby. Very helpful staff.

It was uncomfortable to go around because it was under construction for a while. Pick up service was good and quiet at this price It was comfortable. Friendly staff Room service is good and the hotel is worth receiving spa. Breakfast is simple but ok. First of all, the room was spacious and quiet, so I spent another day than I expected.

The hotel is a good place to take photos. Although the items in the hotel store are more expensive, you can feel more assured when buying. Some of the hotel waiters were patient in helping me with my requests, while others were perfunctory and didn't even know that their hotel had stamps for sale. Fortunately, I asked the store owner when I was shopping in the hotel store, otherwise I would have to go to the post office again. Among the three hotels I stayed in Nepal, this hotel had almost no Chinese compatriots, but mostly foreigners. We had afternoon tea together in the hotel, and I also met locals holding birthday parties in the restaurant.

My overall experience at this hotel was above average. The property was well-maintained, and the room was clean, Bed was not comfortable, and equipped with all essential amenities. It’s time for them to change comfortable mattresses.The staff demonstrated professionalism and courtesy throughout my stay, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience. The location was convenient, offering easy access to nearby dining and attractions. Breakfast options were varied and of good quality but not the best options. While there is minor room for improvement in areas such as bed and check-in efficiency, the overall standard of service and comfort was commendable. I would be happy to stay here again in the future.

The front desk staff were very helpful and willing to talk to me about various things. They were great for a solo traveler as they provided good conversation partners. The shower had hot water and I had no complaints. The photo shows the view from the window.

This is the last hotel I stayed during my first business trip in Nepal. It is clean and service very nice, the room is well cleaned and towels and bathroom vs beds blankets all are highly standard clean . I feel comfortable here and happy . 13th floor have a nice place to have dinner . Happy to eat food of China type . Fruits are good and fresh . Top floor 15th also beautiful scenery. Very deserve to come and highly recommended. I admire the manager Shristi Manandhar, she is really an amazing manger for the hotel. We like her. Care about customer feeling and focus on improving hotel experience. Good job

Overall it's pretty good, with a swimming pool and a rooftop bar. You don't have to go to Kathmandu's good restaurants and bars if you live here! In the off-season, you can walk in and ask the price, which is $100. It's still more cost-effective to book online. It's in the center of Thamel, close to Durbar Square, and the Dream Garden is downstairs.

The skyline restaurant is the best at sunset in this hotel. They have a transparent glass floor to watch everything under your feet. Many locals also get dressed up and come here to enjoy the million-dollar-worthy sight. You can also enjoy the buffet breakfast at the same restaurant if staying here. I used the swimming pool and sauna on 9 floor. The staff there are very attentive and friendly. Feel like a queen being there! The room is super clean and smell nice! I am amazed by the A.C. System. Believe me that’s very rare to find in Kathmandu! All is very good from the beginning of check-in and till the end. They have free drop-off transportation to airport. So I would highly recommend to book the last nights in Nepal and enjoy a relaxing evening of here!

Whilst the location and rooms are terrific, the service was absolutely awful. We went to the bar to have some coffee and got no acknowledgment of any sort from any of the waiters for 15 minutes and only after complaining did we get served. Dinner was late by an hour and again only hit served after complaining. Either the staff haven’t been trained to standard or the management is so weak that they can’t see the indifference the staff are showing their guests

I had an exceptional stay at Dusit Princess Hotel in Kathmandu! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel at home right away. The hotel is clean and hygienic, and I have met some friends who have lived there for a long time. The fried cauliflower for breakfast is better than fried chicken. I admire the chef's cooking skills. The guy at the front desk of the hotel can speak Japanese, and he can switch communication when English gets stuck. The Stuff I met greeted me with a smile, very nice.

It is located in Thamel district of Kathmandu, Nepal. The entrance is hard to find as it is down a narrow alley, but all the taxi drivers I used during my stay knew the location. The breakfast venue was crowded because I used it during the year-end and New Year holidays, but other than that I was able to have a relaxing breakfast. It's very convenient as you can walk to a busy street in about 5 minutes. I am satisfied because the room was clean and the cleaning was done properly.

I spent 5 nights at the Fairfield by Marriott, about 2 weeks after a change of government through political protests. The room on level 7, had amazing views of the city and the mountains, with the desk perfectly positioned to reflect & admire this view. The marble bathroom and shower were awesome, with instant & reliable hot water. The tariff included a great breakfast, including hot and cold dishes. The staff serving the breakfast were amazing and would attend all requests in very efficient manner. The hotel is about a 10 minutes walk to clubs and bars. While the hotel street is relevantly quiet, I have felt very safe around this area day and night. There is an international convenience store in the same street of the hotel (4 min walk from hotel). Its is a little expensive, but they do accept credit cards The hotel does not have pool. During my visit in late September and early October, the temperate was a little hot for the first 2 days, and then a lot milder and slightly cool on the final day. I would definitely recommend this hotel based on room amenity, great service and very favourable rates.
