An excellent hotel with excellent service on the most beautiful beach of the island. Regardless of the chosen accommodation option, you will have the opportunity to enjoy nature and relaxation in exceptionally comfortable conditions, and the hotel staff will sincerely do everything possible for this, starting from meeting you in your own station area before transferring to the island. The organization of the hotel is at its best. Cleanliness, comfort, quality of bedding, friendliness and responsiveness of the staff, security, attitude towards guests, breakfasts, a restaurant for lunch and dinner overlooking the beach, a bar with drinks, two different beaches, a large territory - everything is equipped and done so that guests do not want to leave the hotel throughout their stay. In my opinion, the hotels of the Samedresorts chain and in this case Sai Kaew Beach Resort are one of the best pages of our frequent vacation in Thailand. This time, our large group of friends with children and parents (23 people), vacationing in Pattaya, rented 8 or 9 separate deluxe cottages in this hotel for three nights. Despite the different ages of the vacationers (the youngest tourist was 2 years old), everyone had the kindest and most positive memories and impressions of the trip. Once again, many thanks to the management and the entire large team of the hotel for the warmth and truly heartfelt welcome. It was a complete Sabai. Special thanks to Mr. Lek, now our friend Lek, for his daily attention, kindness, care and those feelings that brought tears to our eyes upon departure. The Ao Prao hotel is a gem. The tomyum soup is the best in the world. The property is immaculate and the massage was fantastic. Our room was 101 and the best location on the property. The staff is exceptional and will bend over backwards for you. Zann and Ti are so helpful. The problem is the pollution and trash in the ocean. The hotel is excellent but the water is less than desirable for a holiday.

Our Favorite Island Escape! This was our fifth stay at Vangduen Hotel, and we already can’t wait to come back! It’s the kind of place that never disappoints. In fact, the only sad part is packing up to leave. The location is perfect—tucked away on the quiet side of the island, offering so much peace and natural beauty. The clear, calm water and the soft white sand (honestly, it feels like flour!) make it the perfect spot to relax. Even though it’s peaceful, there’s still plenty to do. There’s a great selection of restaurants, a small shop for anything you might need, and a fun fire show in the evenings. The hotel itself is spotless, well-equipped, and super comfortable. The staff are amazing—so friendly and always happy to help with anything you need. It’s those little things that make each stay so special. We’d recommend this place 100%. In fact, we’ve already booked our next trip in two weeks! Vangduen Hotel really is a gem, and we feel lucky to have found it.

Leviman Hotel is almost the best hotel on Koh Samet. It is owned by the same group as the Rupu Hotel next door. You can drive here and park your car directly in the parking lot inside the pier. It has its own pier. The room I stayed in included a round-trip speedboat ticket for two people and two buffet breakfasts. The breakfast products were also quite good. The hotel service was very good. The hillside cottage where I stayed was a little noisy at night because there were many bullfrogs calling nearby at night. The hotel was pristine and had a beautiful environment. The hotel had its own private beach and you could snorkel for free (you need to bring your own snorkeling supplies or rent them). It is recommended to wear snorkeling shoes for snorkeling because the rocks are sharp. A hotel worth recommending.

1. **Hotel Location:** The hotel is situated on a small beach, just a short distance from Diamond Beach, which is only about a 6-7 minute walk away. The 7-Eleven on the main street is also roughly a ten-minute walk. 2. **Hotel Environment & Facilities:** The setting is lovely; it operates as a resort. I stayed in a standalone bungalow, surrounded by garden paths. It's very close to the sea; you can reach the beach within two or three minutes of stepping out of your room. However, there are quite a lot of mosquitoes on the island, so remember to take precautions against them. 3. **Hotel Service:** The service was good. The front desk staff were very patient and answered all my questions. I initially booked one night through Ctrip, then extended my stay by booking another night directly at the hotel. When I repeatedly compared online and offline prices and inquired at the front desk, the staff patiently addressed all my queries. When moving luggage, staff members will deliver it from the front desk to your room. Free towels are available at the front desk, and the row of beach loungers by the hotel's beach can be used for free. Just remember to return the towels to the front desk after use. 4. **Hotel Facilities & Hygiene:** The room has a hairdryer. I didn't use their toiletries, so I don't remember if they were provided. Hygiene was my biggest complaint. There might have been dust mites on the bed, as I was itching all over and couldn't sleep for both nights I stayed. **Additional Notes:** The hotel explicitly states they do not use MSG, and their own restaurant also refrains from using it, which offers peace of mind when dining. One evening, we considered trying a restaurant located near the hotel entrance (not affiliated with the hotel). When we asked if they used MSG, the waiter replied that they could note 'no MSG' for us 😓, which immediately scared us off, and we quickly left. Oh, and the hotel restaurant has a performance around 8 PM, but you need to tip the performers after the show.

Great place for a family holiday! We had a bungalow on the beach, with its own terrace. The house has a small second floor, where a double bed fits. There is everything you need. A good restaurant with a great view of the sea. This hotel does not have a beach, as the coast is rocky, but literally 100 meters away there is a beautiful sandy beach with numerous cafes and bars. We thank the hotel staff for their hospitality and excellent service!

I stayed at a quiet mini resort, which was great for peace and quiet. The best part was the chocolate cabin in the woods behind it. The infinity pool was mostly quiet and the rooms were cleaned well, which was important to me as someone with OCD. Despite being on the ground level with a sea view, I didn't encounter any bugs or ants inside. The staff was decent, but not overly welcoming or friendly. Jik, who worked at the reception, was helpful and booked reservations for us at restaurants and other Samed group resorts. However, the resort was a bit far (15-minute drive) from everything else, making it quite a ride by motorbike or taxi. The distance felt longer when traveling around the island. My least favourite thing was the breakfast restaurant. The Japanese style seating, while great for lunches or dinners, became annoying after a day or two, especially during breakfast when I needed to get up several times and bruised myself getting up. The restaurant also had an ant problem, which made me feel very uneasy and ruined my enjoyment of breakfast. I wished we hadn't included breakfast at the hotel. I felt that the same hygiene methods used for the rooms should be applied to the restaurant to prevent the ant issue.

A hotel for an unpretentious traveler. Cleaning is mediocre, there is a permanent puddle in the bathroom after using the shower. There is a swamp nearby, from which mosquitoes fly, so take a fumigator and plates. Breakfast is a choice of eggs, toast, salad, sausages, ham in a combination of 8 sets + coffee or tea. The air conditioner is not very noisy, but blows on the beds and this cannot be changed in any way. Upon check-in, they take a deposit of 500 baht. Wi-Fi works great, as does the water heater. There is a fur coat in the refrigerator, it has probably never been defrosted. In the closet on the top shelf there is a 2 mm layer of dust, so do not put anything there. A flying insect would probably shoot itself :) In general, you can come for 3-4 days, but the price is too high in my opinion.

Traveling to Thailand during the low season is honestly not worth it due to the constant rain. The cleanliness of the beach left much to be desired, and the hotel breakfast was quite poor. We often felt like we were bothering the staff rather than being welcomed. They weren’t attentive to whether guests needed anything or lacked something. We even visited a local clinic, and they wanted to charge us 2,200 THB just for calling a doctor and speaking over the phone. It also felt like the only thing that really mattered to the staff was the tip you might leave. All in all, we don’t think we’ll be coming back.

Beautiful view in beach front (semi detached) cabins. We included breakfast during our stay which was fine (but take care some food had bugs). The rooms were fairly basic, not the most comfortable of beds and did not get cleaned during our 3 night stay. Water was provided and towels replaced once, left outside for us to collect. The restaurant was fairly reasonable, music at night. Unfortunately the rooms were very noisy, you could hear the neighbours during the night and lizards on the roof. The location is a lovely beach, not too far to walk on the beaches to tubtim, but a bit too far to walk to the main town.

The hotel was clean and the staff were all very friendly. The location is in a quieter area of the island with a few minutes walk from some local restaurants and the local beach. To get to the main pier and the nearby town area, you either need a book a baht bus (Songthaew) from the hotel (which was about 200THB, so only really works in a group) or hire a moped from the hotel (which was about 300THB for a day). It takes about 10mins by moped. The hotel also has a bar which also has food. There are also two swimming pools. Would recommend this place if you want to have a quieter stay on the Island, but still want a place convenient enough to get to the main pier and town area.

It's far from the pier, it took a long time to arrive by car. There is the sea around, it is very quiet, not the main entertainment area, only two stores have food. But it's good to watch the sea. It should be relatively remote and cheaper than in the business circle. It is a Thai-style house. Most Thai hotels and guesthouses have a normal network, which is unpleasant. You can only go out to watch the bonfire show at night when you ask for a Shuangtiao car.

My impressions of staying at the hotel are mixed – I wouldn't say it was bad, but it wasn't great either. The service is okay, the girls are very friendly and try their best. The cabin is small, a bit cramped for two people. There's only a mirror in the bathroom, and you can't dry your hair because there's an outlet in the room. When you shower, the entire floor gets wet. I solved the problem by buying a wipe and wiping it down afterward. The mattress is a whole other story – terribly squeaky; you can't turn over or get out of bed without the annoying squeak. And then there are the mosquitoes. I was bitten all over, from head to toe. Buy some mosquito spray right away, otherwise they'll eat you. The view from the terrace is certainly beautiful; you can lie right on the bed and look out at the sea and the pier. But you have to be very careful walking up to the cabin; there are huge boulders and steep steps below. There's no private beach; we went for a swim further along the shore, but sand flies bit us there. Would I go again? Maybe for one, two nights at most. Just lie down, listen to the sound of the surf, look at the sea... We stayed for six nights, which is a long time. Oh, and there are lots of dogs there. They're not aggressive, they beg for food, wag their tails, but you can hear them barking at night.

The only downside was having to wait until 2 PM for check-in, even though we arrived at 12:05 PM. But no worries, we just changed and headed to the beach. A huge thank you to everyone. The stars of this hotel are the staff particularly the manager, Act, who could not be more helpful. She made everything about my stay easy and stress free. The hotel itself is just across the quiet island road from the beach. Here there is white sand and crystal clear water. To the left is the busier section with all the normal beach activities together with bars and restaurants. It is just a 15 min walk into town this way. To the right the beach is quieter. If you continue along the beach to the right you can follow the coast path which ‘hops’ from bay to bay making for a pleasant walk. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. You are supplied with everything you need including snacks, beach bag, wet bag, beach towel and beach mat. I had a wonderful stay at Green Bay and thoroughly recommend it.

There are 4 or 5 hotel building that belong to the owner. The ones that are 2 steps away from the beach are newer. The ones in the back are a bit older. And the ones that I had needed some renovations but not much. Iif you’re looking for delux 5 stars this isn’t the place. But if you’re looking for decent and very close to the beach this is very good for the price you pay. The owner of the hotel is friendly and if you ask him he will try to help. The beach is very clean and the hotel has long chairs and tables you can sit and order in front on the beach looking at the water. You can drink, eat and go for a swim and comeback to sit. That’s what makes this hotel great. As I said the beach is very clean and my 1.5 year old child had fun on the sand and a bit in the water.

Mixed impressions) For families with children, the pool was a great help: two depths, for babies and a maximum of 110 cm. We vacationed with my 9-year-old daughter in June 2025. There were waves in the bay, so we often swam in the pool. For breakfast: buffet (watermelon, melon, tea, coffee, juices, cornflakes, milk, green lettuce, cherry tomatoes, white rice, rice with vegetables, with chicken, sausages, fried eggs, white toast, jam, butter, etc.) We got a room in which the water in the shower and sink did not drain, not comfortable at all. But we lasted two nights) as in other houses - I don't know) Overall, good. We rented a motorbike and traveled around the island: we were on other beaches and at View points. At the very end of the island, there are gorgeous views!

The room was beautiful and clean. I got a room next to the Kahe and Sai Kaew beach. The view was beautiful. The accommodation was between Buggy and Sai Kaew Beach Resort, and it was a short walk to a 7-Eleven. Breakfast was a set menu with options to order in advance. You can eat at the cafe or in your room. However, the staff at the cafe and other areas lacked service mind. They didn't smile and greet me. They were either sitting on their phones or chatting in groups. The water and toiletries were insufficient for the guests. The restaurant and cafe closed early, closing before 5 p.m. There was nothing available for drinks or food. The entrance was under renovation, but every time I walked past, the attentive receptionist would come out and tell the technician to stop and let me pass. Thank you. The air conditioning wasn't cool throughout the room, but overall, I liked the beautiful and complete interior design. The mattress on the large bed was too soft, causing back pain.

Newly renovated rooms; comfortable & cleaned. Beautiful private peaceful beach. All the hotel staff that we had contacted did excellent jobs. Enjoyed live music & a fire show in the evening. We gave 200 THB to the fire show men. Frankly speaking, their fire show skills are much better than Hawaii. (Except, no hip dance) It would be nice if the other hotel guests would have given them some tips, too. Everything was good, except the music at the restaurant by the beach was a bit too loud. I will return to stay at this hotel again if I go to Samed next time.

I have stayed at Flamingo Villa before (In the Garden Room), but this time I decided to stay in the loft room, which apparently is called the Family Room. Flamingo Villa is somewhat strange, since the ”Hotel” is basically three rooms within the Samed Your House hotel. Our neighbors actually knocked on our door to try and check in ~ You need to call the phone number for Flamingo Villa in order to check in, as someone will come out to meet you. So, bottom line up front: Flamingo Villa is awesome, but get ready to kill a lot of mosquitos! The owners do a good job of lighting incense sticks to try and keep the them away, but there are fountains around the area and the mosquitos are no joke. I would say I killed at least 10 in our room, so it is super important to make sure you close the sliding doors behind you every time you go in and out of the room. The Family Room was awesome. The lower floor is basically a living room with a large day bed and a big TV with great speakers. The toilet room is separate from the shower. The stairs to the loft are pretty steep, but once you get up there it is really nice. There are two queen beds in the loft, and the glass wall and sliding door separate the bedroom from the main room, which is great because the bedroom has its own AC unit, and the glass keeps out the mosquitoes. The beds were comfortable, but be careful because the ceiling is very low above the beds. The view from up in the loft is very peaceful, and the owners obviously spent a lot of time decorating the place (The Christmas tree was still up while we were there). The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Sai Kaew Beach, and the pier for the ferry is only a 10 minute walk ~ but you can take a mini bus if you would like. The hotel is close to restaurants and stores, and there are two 7-11s close to the beach. We rented a motor bike the last time we were in Koh Samed, but Sai Kaew Beach seems to be the nicest on the island, so we just hung out there. I love Flamingo Villa, and I am sure I will stay there again in the future.

Although the rooms are not new, they are spacious and have plenty of storage space. The daughter is delighted with the canopy on the bed. I think we'll come back here again.

Very nice small hotel. For those who are looking for a quiet but comfortable corner of the island, this is a good choice. It is located 1.5 km from the center, but it is a long way to walk along the hilly area, there is a tuk-tuk, but it is not cheap, 200 baht one way (the whole), like a taxi. The beach is clean, nice, the sand is light, but not white, like on the central eastern beaches. The sea is clean. The hotel has loungers with umbrellas by the beach, beach towels. The bungalows have a refrigerator and a kettle, cleaning is daily, they put water. The view is beautiful on the sea and sunrise. There is no tea on the island at all, so take tea bags with you))) In this northern corner, there are also cafes, restaurants at the hotels nearby, we rented a bike and rode around the entire island and to the most rated beaches (very beautiful). The staff is friendly. Breakfast is delicious and filling. The restaurant is inexpensive with basic Thai cuisine plus spaghetti and sandwiches. It's nice to stop for a couple of days.

Although the hotel is located at the very end of Sai Kaew Beach, it's a 15-minute walk to the pier and a 5-minute walk along the beach to a 7/11. So you don't feel far away from everything. The staff is very friendly and always responded quickly to requests. We stayed in early September and had a buffet breakfast. Not a huge selection, but you definitely won't go hungry. Breakfast is served on the veranda overlooking the sea. The hotel has its own grounds, which the staff keeps clean, and the beach near the hotel was illuminated in the evenings. We were very pleased with our stay.

The location is great, you just go out and you're on the beach. Beach towels are provided upon request. There are 2 bottles of water in the room. But the standard room windows don't face the street, but the corridor, so it's so-so. I didn't see it in the room description. Clothes don't dry, but that's a feature of all island hotels. The bathroom doesn't smell very good. Yes, it's convenient that bean bags on the beach are provided to guests at no extra charge.
