Stayed three days. 1-main door locks were not working properly and i noticed other guest door of buddha block were fighting with the doors. 2-rooms were not ready properly, you have to ask for sleeper, bath room mat, dental kit etc. 3-lights were fleekering. 4-room allotted without checking the condition, in room no 204, the bathroom water was coming out in the room. The rooms are very well kept and the breakfast spread is quite good! the only downside is the responsiveness of the staff is a little slow. We really liked the stay not only because of the cozy rooms also for good people at the property, the uncle was very humble & sweet, he helped us in every way possible without even asking anything. The hotel is overpriced by all stamdards. No doubt its clean but the finishing is noth worth the money they are charging. Shower wasnot working. Wifi signal comes only at reception. Blocked bathtub. Open wiring and panels. Dirty tea cups even after telling them to clean the room. The worst experience was that they charged me for breakfast. In similar situations at other hotels, they canceled the extra night without a problem, regardless of the cancellation policy. In fact, two hotels in India did this on my last trip. This is the hotel in India where I've encountered the least polite reception staff, which is particularly surprising given that India is known for its excellent customer service. Some of the reception staff should read Gandhi's message that's displayed at the entrance to the reception area...they seem to have forgotten it.
Otherwise, it's a very good and beautiful hotel; the rest of the staff is fantastic, from the restaurant staff to the very friendly gardener.FromSEK 282

We were really looking forward to this hotel. And while it’s in an amazing location and has a whole lot of faded charm, it fell short of expectations. It is very dated and not being cared for at all. Location - excellent, food-excellent. . Amenities -rooms no-201 and204. Stayed three days. 1-main door locks were not working properly and i noticed other guest door of buddha block were fighting with the doors. 2-rooms were not ready properly, you have to ask for sleeper, bath room mat, dental kit etc. 3-lights were fleekering. 4-room allotted without checking the condition, in room no 204, the bathroom water was coming out in the room. The property has the best location, right on the banks of river betwa, so most preferred are river view rooms. The rooms are very well kept and the breakfast spread is quite good! the only downside is the responsiveness of the staff is a little slow. That may be due to the sleepy nature of the town as a whole and not the property in particular. Loved every bit of our stay. 5FromSEK 357

The hotel is overpriced by all stamdards. No doubt its clean but the finishing is noth worth the money they are charging. Shower wasnot working. Wifi signal comes only at reception. Blocked bathtub. Open wiring and panels. Dirty tea cups even after telling them to clean the room. The worst experience was that they charged me for breakfast. But their retaurant wasnt operational and i had do eat poha and paratha on both days of my day. That too in my room in limited quantity. Regards. No network in room.FromSEK 438
