Pigeon Forge Resorts

Our third time staying here, and as always, we had a wonderful experience!

The hotel is very large, on the edge of the Pigeon Valley National Road, it is very convenient to come from the Great Smoky Mountain Forest Park. It feels that a whole lot of commercials belong to this hotel. The rooms are large and very beautiful. There are various commercial and amusement buildings downstairs. Facilities, parking is free. There is a Chinese reception at the front desk. Personally feel that the street view is better than the river view. The river view room arrived at night, a dark river. The hotel has a self-service laundry room. This is very important. At 11 o'clock in the evening, there are still many people playing outside, almost all families with children.

We came with friends as we usually do every February. Shanica greeted us with such a smile! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming and helpful! Breakfast was excellent and the rooms very comfortable. Our friend even had the room next door with a fireplace! The entryway was warm and inviting and very comfortable. Even had a table out there where we could play games and talk. The pool and jacuzzi were clean and had nice towels. This why it is our favorite place to stay in Pigeon Forge!

I was charged twice for the stay. I was charged upon checking in, even though the booking was prepaid. Front desk staff was not appropriately trained with normal procedures and resulted in the duplicate charged. I had to make several phone calls to different people to resolve this. This resulted in precious vacation time loss and unnecessary stress.

The housekeeping staff was very helpful. The room was clean and spacious. We were in the building across the river. Member of party was not able to walk to breakfast area and the parking area was severely lacking enough spaces (not to mention hard to maneuver in). So we were never able to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast. The parking area for the room itself was small. There were cars having to park wherever they could. The kids really enjoyed the geese and ducks and other critters we saw in the area. By being on the first floor, we were able to enjoy the animals up close. And we enjoyed being next to the river. It was very peaceful.

Go to Dawu Mountain to live in BW, BW hotel room is many, convenient up and down, the middle swimming pool is also big, it rained heavily that day, the next day up the mountain, there is a lot of fog on the mountain. In fact, the scenery of Dawu Mountain is a lot in Fujian, Zhejiang, very ordinary, but the blue mountains road behind is really good.

Clean hotel staff was so friendly !! Both at check in and check out ! I really appreciated the friendly faces and the positive attitudes I look forward to seeing them again in August for Jeep invasion❤️❤️

Everyone was very friendly from check-in to housekeepers and the free breakfast was nice. The beds and pillows are marvelous but the pool is small & there aren't enough lounge chairs. We would stay again.

Overall, the hotel appears to be well managed, and it was nice to see the staff working together and supporting one another. I especially appreciated not having to wait several hours for check-in, which made the arrival much smoother. During my stay, some areas of the floor were under renovation. While this is understandable, there was a noticeable smell and visible signs of ongoing work, which slightly affected the overall impression. The room itself felt quite cool, and there were a few small details that could be improved. The coffee machine wasn’t working, a hair dryer was not available in the room, and there was a noticeable draft coming from the window. I also noticed a black hair on the bed upon arrival. On a positive note, an iron was provided. One thing I did appreciate was that coffee and tea were available in the lobby most of the time. For a 4-star hotel, 🫣🫣🫣 Overall, this hotel could be a good option if alternatives are limited, and with some attention to details, it has the potential to offer a more comfortable stay.
