We were looking for the perfect tropical island, a paradise with few tourists and village-life. We finally found what we were looking for in Koh Yao Noi. The locals of Koh Yao Noi were some of the friendliest we had come across in Thailand. For a country that’s full of welcoming, warm people, that’s really saying something. Then it was Dan’s Koyao Retreat and the great host. Sin and the ladies took such a great care of us. It felt like we were staying in a home. Luckily we were alone during our stay. They offer three villas tucked away in the greenery, a private pool with a fantastic view and is visited by all kinds of birds, including hornbills. There are a handful of great restaurants and a beach at walking distance, and scooters and bikes are provided to explore the rest of the island. Service includes breakfast and afternoon tea, and they can organize fantastic massages, other meals and activities on request. We travel a lot and this is the best place we´ve ever stayed at. We will never forget the sunrise, the sounds and the views, the atmosphere and the warm hospitality. We will be back.

Ninaa is just an awesome host! very welcoming, friendly, any question is super easy to solve and it’s pleasant to talk to her. The same as with people surrounding her. I would stay more, but it was fully booked already, people love this place, simple and cosy, wooden houses, calm courtyard hidden in trees.

The room was beautiful and staff was very friendly and we felt welcomed. Stuff made us free breakfast every morning and offered free snacks also. They were very kindly and room was clean. However we found some bugs in the room. Staff handeled the situation very well and we got another room next morning and there wasn't bug problems. We would go there again cause staff and the rooms were amazing! ❤️

I strongly recommend this hotel. The room, breakfast and location are already awesome. But the level of details, attention and hospitality from the hotel staff and owner made our stay simply perfect. Placed in a peaceful area and literally in front the beach, just separated by a road, but it was completely quiet at night and not busy during the day. The beach is wonderful and not crowded. The hotel includes a basket and towels for the beach, and the hotel staff even used to bring us some chairs. Other details they used to have were removing our swimming clothes from the terrace if they were dry or if it was about to rain. The room is cozy, super clean and equipped with a quiet A/C and free wifi. They provide water every day and some snacks. Remark the variety in the breakfast. They hotel staff even used to bring typical thai breakfast from the market and they prepared the fried eggs the moment we arrived. Aorn, the owner was really attentive, asking always if wether we needed something and helped us with some excursions.
