It is an old house, but very comfortable and well equipped. It is located 500 metres from the metro and the Chamartin train station where you can take the suburban and high speed train. It is also 300 metres from the metro. I offer pick up service from the airport or any other point as long as it is in the afternoon until 22 at night. The room is what you see in the photo. I can host another person in the same room with another mattress, if you need it. Ideal for people who want to travel to different parts of Spain and come back to Madrid in the same day or just stay in Madrid. I live in the house. I stayed in this guest house for a weekend. It is located in a calm area of the city, but it is super close to the underground station so it is easy from there to reach the city centre and more vibrant areas of Madrid. The fact that the check-in is contactless and you do not even need keys to get in (you get an email on your smartphone with the instructions to enter) is a great pro. My room was nice and neatly arranged. The shared bathroom and kitchenette were clean and functional. The free wifi worked perfectly. The place was generally quiet, though maybe the room were not super sound-proof to I often could hear people in the nearby rooms chatting (earplugs solved the issue perfectly). Another small con was the absence of elevators - not a big problem for me but better make it clear for people reading this review. Overall, this guesthouse served its purpose well and was the perfect choice for a weekend in Madrid.

This was an excellent place to stay, the rooms are decent size, clean, beds were comfortable, ac was working well. We had booked 3 weeks in advance and we still managed to get a decent price for 3 night, if you can book earlier, you can avail of great deals. The hostal is close to the Metro stop 'Columbia' and the streets leading up to it has lovely little restaurants, cafés especially the El Horno café which was excellent, there is also a Carrefour thats open till late. It is well connected to all the main spots in Madrid by bus or metro. Christian from the staff was very sweet and accommodating- we had quite an early flight in and we just came to deposit the bags- but he let us check in early when usually one has to pay for it. All in all, great location, comfortable rooms, 20 mins away from the main spots yet near to the city center and Santiago Bernabeau stadium. Totally recommended!

Fuimos con 2 niños y la experiencia ha sido muy buena. El apartamento tiene una decoración muy agradable, en madera. Está muy limpio y con todo tipo de utensilios de cocina. Es silencioso, ni se oye la calle ni ruidos de las habitaciones contiguas. Como mejora diría que se pudiera reservar plaza en el parking con antelación, pero en caso de no tener hay un parking público enfrente. El personal amable.

It is recommended not to eat breakfast compared to the cost. I don't know how old the food is, but they're all ready-made and at that cost you might as well go out and get a cup of coffee. You'd better make sure it's an underground room. I don't know if it's because it's winter, but it's humid and it doesn't feel good. The TV doesn't work. It's great for the price of just sleeping.

This commented that the comments worried that the attitude of the homeowner was only fixed for one night. Later, I went to the hotel and found that the owner was very friendly. Although the Indian accent was difficult to understand, it was very enthusiastic to help us solve the problem. The breakfast was quite good, yogurt coffee, and a mint cheesecake made me very impressed. If you are in the location, you can walk from Universal Studios for ten minutes, but the road is a bit hard to find.

I have booked a King room with Forest View for 2 nights and decided to add another night but the same room was not available, So I booked the additional night in the premium category. I called the property the day before and was told she may find a way so that we don't have to change our room. When we checked in around 9pm, they left a key to our room on the 3rd floor. This room is the least expensive room where there is only a very small window and it's half covered with eaves of the roof. It was so dark that you cannot read unless you turn the lights on during the day. The next morning, I asked the manager, Susan, we would like the room we booked for or there should be a refund for the rate difference. I was then told we booked through the third party booking site not their own website and we have a heavily discounted price. I really did not see that much difference between what we paid and their website rate. She said then she can waive the service fee of $15 per day additional service fee. I did not see that anywhere in the website. I only saw the handwritten note at the check-in area. She said there is no adjustment whatsoever because we got the cheap rate. All I asked was to get the room categories we booked and deserved. Her answer was I can check out if I was not happy. I made all the travel plans based on staying in the area. This is totally ”Bait and Switch” and her attitude was very unprofessional. We have extensive good experiences at Air BNB, etc. This is one property we were treated poorly. The property is old and needs some attention but overall, it was OK and the breakfast was fairly good and the guy in the kitchen was very helpful. The management left us with bad taste and I will not go back to the property.

A very beautiful big house, it feels more like an airbnb homestay, not like a hotel, but it feels very special. The house is located in the wealthy area on the mountain. It is very luxurious. It is said that this house has a history of nearly 50 years, and the floor is covered. The patina is out. Usually when there are no guests, there will be a lot of sexy internet celebrities to pose for photos. The owner of the grandfather was very nice. He prepared breakfast for us in the morning. He knew that we were Chinese and would help us cook dumplings, watch TV on the cctv channel, recommend tourist routes, etc. He was very very enthusiastic and made us all embarrassed, toilet The two rooms are shared, but there is no one next door on the day we stayed, so it is equivalent to a private toilet. It's really great 👍
