I was traveling with a 70-year-old man who didn't want to carry his luggage around, so I booked this super pleasant apartment hotel and stayed there for 8 days. I was very satisfied with it. The location is good and the transportation is convenient. Just two or three minutes from the door is the People's Park Line 2 subway station, which is directly connected to Chengdu East Station and Xipu Station. The surrounding Qingcheng Mountain, Dujiangyan, Leshan, Emei Mountain, Panda Valley...these scenic spots are the first choice for day trips. The urban attractions are not far away, and it is convenient to take buses, subways, and taxis, and the Kuanzhai Alley is opposite. There are two bedrooms plus a living room with a kitchen and a small balcony, which is suitable for a family to live together and to take care of the elderly and children. The living room has a large projection and good sound effects. We live on the 36th floor, which is high and has a good view. (We were also lucky enough to see the Universiade fireworks🎆, which were beautiful.) You can see the entrance to the Kuanzhai Alley from the living room. For the price we got, the hotel was very nice. The double room was very clean. We had basic amenities like a kettle, some nice shampoo/shower gel, and a hair dryer. The employees who checked us in were very thoughtful and gave us a recommendation on where to eat lunch. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel as we woke up quite early, but there is plenty to eat in the immediate area. The location is great. Very close to line 2 so you can hop on and go to the IFS area or East railway station within a half hour to 40 minutes.
