|27.7km from city centerStayed at Penida Sunset in early July 2023. Such a hidden gem with an infinity pool that has amazing views out towards the jungle and the bay. Cute, clean individual bungalows with comfy beds and decorated in traditional balinese style. The staff are all very friendly and attentive, and the manager Gerry was so kind and helpful with anything we needed. The hotel is set back from the road so it’s super quiet and peaceful. Get the smoothie bowl for breakfast and fresh dragonfruit juice, both were amazing.

|16.75km from city centerWe have had a great stay here, and Gus is a great host who goes to the end to make his guests enjoy a great stay. The team he has around is working all day on making everything clean and comfortable. If sheets are on the ground, sheets are wiped, mattresses are needed for the beds are adjusted at the minute. You have to ask, our villa was unwisely clean and was as expected, the shower is also good, your room is cleaned at your request, through a plate. The villa was close to the street but there are earphones available in the room, which makes us sleep nicely. My friend was the t**** evening that we stayed here for the anniversary and I wanted to surprise her. A app to Gus was enough, he knew what he was doing right away and within 10 minutes we were discussing a menu. As agreed, he provided a dinner at candlelight next to the swimming pool with breathtaking decoration. This was really over expectation. We were even served at the pool by a warning staff who also provided the menu/dining. In general, this accommodation is a thick adviser!

|9km from city centerI loved staying at Dini Guesthouse while I was in Canggu for 10 days. The property is amazing, the pool is perfect and the room was great. Everything was so clean and the service was amazing. Everyone was kind and helpful. The onsite restaurant had really good food and it was affordable. The location is perfect and is just next to the Outpost Coworking Space and not too far from the Tropical Nomad Coworking space (5 min. scooter ride). It is also close to a lot of restaurants and just in front of a small supermarket. In my opinion, the quality for the price is incredible. I would stay there again for sure.

We get our scooter, laundry and even massage under our bungalow here. Would recommend scooter rent for exploring Uluwatu area (Do not rent if you don’t have experience driving a scooter or you’re too scared of traffic!!!) There is lot of shops and restaurants near by. Highly recommended for your stay if you want to be silence and want to stay bungalow. Thank you for this amazing week with you guys!!

It’s a nice place but there are a few things I didn’t care about there I guess for the price it’s a bargain But at this time no restaurant open here I guess due to covid . Free coffee all the time and water availability down stairs. Shower is nice and hot , the AC cold and the bed is pretty comfortable. Is located in a residential area and has stairs and no elevator. 3 floors. For the price it’s clean and neat room to stay with a pool.

|32.17km from city centerI want to recommend to everyone the excellent team of the hotel Ped Cottage. Staff is very attentive to the guests and responsive. Very quickly react to problems and solve them. The room is clean, clean every day. Breakfast is very little but delicious!
In the hotel you can order tours on the island, snorkeling with mant - which goes cheaper than ordering elsewhere.
I advise you to choose the suite room on the 2nd floor, tc there is your own space. On the 1st floor - the staff passes by, which is not quite convenient.
The hotel itself is far from any beaches, so it will be more suitable for ”night with comfort.”
If you want to live near a good beach - this option is not yours.
From the dock - 10 minutes drive. About 150.000 RP by taxi.

It was so good to be able to eat authentic Balinese cuisine which was cooked authentically with all the spices and cooking methods. A big congratulations to the chef whose beef Rendang was better than Potatoes Heads Indo restaurant and for the Ayam Betutu which was exactly like a Balinese mother would prepare. The staff were young but enthusiastic and helpful. For me this was great to experience an authentic Balinese experience again after so much has been lost in the developments down south. It was $16 a night plus taxes which made it $17 and something. The room is very pretty, It’s clean, stylish and modern. They also serve a selection of food. There is an outside seating overlooking a small garden. The bathroom is okay nothing special. It’s clean. I recommend this place.I took photos for you guys so you see it better. Happy travelling.

|23.93km from city centerMy boy and I rented this room last week with Jetstar hotels, once we arrived, we immediately realized that the building did not reflect the photos or rather not all and not trustfully. The building was old and there was a tent in the door of the bathroom, and the last room was all accumulated in our bathroom waste, which was a terrible smell. The boy at the reception tried to clean it gently, but the smell was again the same. We asked for explanations, and the boy at the reception (I want to say very kind and available) tells me, ”It's not my fault because we haven't contracted with this hotel for at least four years.” We have therefore contacted the company that told us that, unfortunately, it could not give us any refund, which is absolutely absurd. Moreover, if you get out of here, the only way to travel is to have a motorbike or you can't move if you don't have local taxis that ask you for absurd figures for Bali, GOJEK and GRAB can't travel in this area so you'll be forced to pay A local taxi if you don't have the possibility to rent a motorbike. |23.42km from city centerWe booked the hotel over Booking.com. The facility is viewable. We were in Villa 8 (family rooms). The room itself with two large beds, mosquito net. Breakfast was always freshly prepared. You choose between three options,all options are coffee/tea and juice. We booked a tour to candidasa in the villas and it was all perfectly organized. Schnorchel equipment was put. In the villas we also borrowed mopeds. The manager and staff were very nice. We will come back the 2,5 days were too little.

I had a room where I can see the ocean fron my bed. There was a young guy that rented me a bike. He arranged a boat and a taxi for me to go to Gili island. He arrange for my laundry to be done. This kid was just amazing. The room was perfect and clean. The breakfast was good. There is a very nice swimming pool and and relaxing chairs. I would definitely recommend to anyone!

|17.88km from city centerWe stayed 3 nights in this hotel. A beautiful hotel, with fun rooms. The bathroom is quite small and could have been a little cleaner, but this was okay. The isolation of the rooms (houses) on the other side, is very bad. You hear everything that happens outside, screwing ponds, speaking staff, music, ... I've always sleeped with earphones. Good functioning air conditioning. The hotel's environment is beautiful, pleasant swimming pool and well maintained domain. The breakfast is in order, limited choice, but good. The location of the hotel was really not good, unless you like to sit among the local people. The hotel is located in a side street of a hugely busy and dirty street. (In the hotel you notice here fortunately nothing) There are tremendous cars, buses, broms, ... overnight. Not pleasant to walk in this street. The hotel is therefore a little outside the lake tourist area. There are some restaurants on the busy street, but not comfortable to our views. Afterwards, this hotel was on the “more expensive” side, if you look at the location, compared to other hotels in Bali.

The location of the hotel is relatively close to all the attractions. Rent a motorcycle with the store and watch the map for ten minutes. |25.02km from city centerI really love this place. I have stayed here twice - once in 2020 and again in 2022. It is a family-run place and the owner used to be a Dive Master. They can arrange scooter hire, ferry transport etc. On our last trip they offered to send us by bike with all of our luggages to the yellow bridge to catch a boat to Penida. My partner also requested for a birthday cake for me, and the owner managed to arrange it with flowers and pastry! I like that you have a private courtyard in the room. Some have a pool and kitchenette. The bed and pillow is really nice, and the room is clean. The bathroom has hot shower. For breakfast, I recommend the banana pancake or the jaffle. And very important, the coffee is really good at this place! It's value for money and I highly recommended it.

The location of the hotel is a bit biased, not very easy to find, the last 200 meters can not drive, you have to go. If you only stay for one night, it is not recommended.
