The toilets and interior are clean and modern and the outdoor patio and terrace are lovely. The manager and her staff are friendly and accomodating. The room looks good and the inside is very good, you can cook. But the procedure has to be done in another place on the road, on the second floor. Very inconvenient. And no tips before check in! This needs improvement. The swimming pool is very good, the wind is too big. The surrounding area is a new neighborhood, a bit remote but a taxi to the chicken farm street, about 13 MYR. There seems to be a musty smell in the room, I don’t know if it’s a sewer or a smell of water. I didn't wash it inside, I knew it before, so I brought it myself. The strange thing is that the floor cloth is placed on the toilet. When you come back, you know that it is the intention to tell the toilet lid to fall off. There is water in the bathroom at the time of check-in. Overall, it is a bit far. You can see the Straits of Malacca, and you can see the fireworks of Encore Melaka directed by Zhang Yimou at night. In fact, there is no service, ask, the front desk seems to be looking at you, I don’t know if you can! It’s English, isn’t it Malay? The commissary began to post a note from noon and said it was a lunch time, saying it would not be until 6 pm. Which is this lunch? Living here, you have to take care of yourself. Haha

The landlord, steven, is so kind and very enthusiastic. He gave us free pick-up and drop-off. He also drove us to the sea mosque for free. He introduced us food check-in points and play guides along the way. The food introduced was really delicious, but it was a pity that we stayed. The time is too short to eat it all. Originally we ordered two superior rooms, but one of the air conditioners broke down. Steven helped us upgrade to a deluxe room for free, which is equivalent to living in the whole house! This is the best landlord we met on this trip. Next time I come, I will choose and introduce friends.

I booked a 3 bedroom apartment on 21/June/2019 for 2 nights. I'm quite disappointed with the unit (1052) that had assigned to me. This unit was so much rundown compared to my last visit (Dec 2017). Management should look into the maintenance issue, the wall paper was tear off at the living hall and some of the bedroom, window in the toilet also damage. Wifi will disconnect most of the time. Cleanliness not so good too. Beside the apartment, the most disappointed me was the payment mode. Before my trip, i wrote an email to Jetty suite to confirm my payment, their staff replied me saying that they had received my payment and payment confirm completed (reason for me to double check with them is because I had experience with Jetty suite that system sent notice saying payment done but their staff still collect money from me during my check-in), so base on their email that my payment had done i did not prepare any extra cash but sad to say that things happened again this time.. the worst thing was upon check-in the staff informed me saying payment done so i no need to do any payment, but during my last day of stay early morning 9am i received a call from their office saying they check through their system and found out that they have not received my payment and request me to make payment upon my check-out. How can such thing happen??? And now i have to check with my bank to make sure there won't be any double charge for my booking. Will give a double thoughts in future for my booking on this apartments.

I’ve booked 3 rooms. When i arrived i had to contact the host myself. Normally the host will contact us before checking in to ensure we could check into our rooms smoothly. The hotel should remark that we have to contact the host before checking in if they wont contact us first. Because we have to fill a form for each room so it takes so much time. I even have to wait for the host to set our room. We were supposed to check in by 3pm but there’s 1 room that we had to check in at 6pm. The host asked us to park at the mall’s parking which we have to pay ourselves if we did. After negotiating the host agreed to give us the parking card first but we had to wait in my sister’s room first. It has 5 lifts for both blocks but only 2 lifts can be used. Had to wait almost an hour to get ourselves inside the lift. Other than that, the water supply in block b was yellow. Would definitely not repeat to stay here again. But on the bright side, the rooms are spacious and clean. Suitable for families

I am staying in Johor Bahru and my dad's home town is in Malacca.I stayed at Wayfarer with my parents for 2 days 1 night in conjunction with All Souls Day.I really loved the room very much!It is so oriental,clean,cosy,nice&with a beautiful balcony room.Free wifi is provided as well.Most importanty,the location of the guest house is in the heart of town.What a great location!We could walk around so easily without having to drive our car around the town area.What I like most about Wayfarer is that,it is so close to Jonker Walk,Jonker Street and the Christ church area.Opposite of my balcony room,I can see the St.Xavier's church and the Malacca river with the river cruise boats passing by all the time.I really can't forget my stay at Wayfarer.I truly recommend people to come and stay at Wayfarer!They won't regret it and the price of the rooms are so cheap and reasonable.The toilets are absolutely clean and the management provides hand wash and shower foams for the guests to use.The room that I stayed in also has a bath tub.Last but not least,Wayfarer has given me and my family a very good and friendly service.I will never ever forget my stay at Wayfarer.I will definately come back to Wayfarer to stay again when there is another chance and another good opportunity.So,I would like to wish the management of Wayfarer and their immediate families all the best and good luck in their tourism business and also all the best in their future undertakings!Thank you very much Wayfarer for letting me and my family have a really sweet,fun and lovely stay.We managed to make good memories at Wayfarer and in Malacca.I LOVE WAYFARER SO SO MUCH!

A cosy boutique hotel with its own private parking and at a great location. There are literally many eateries and even massage shops near it. If you want the typical Starbucks, it is just opposite the hotel. There is also convenience shops nearby. The hotel is superbly clean and chic. The design is great for those instagram lovers. Sadly, the pantry is non-existence and there is only a small kitchenette at the lobby. There is no lift so for those who are carrying big luggages, please be prepared to carry them up the flight of stairs. The stairs are unsuitable for those wearing skirts and just a tilt of the head will allow me to see your inner skirt. And apparently, there is also no staff available at the location after 12am. My friend and I were awaken by one of the rooms shouting at their top of their voice if the other one had worn underwear. They were hanging out along the corridor for a good 5 minutes shouting and banging the door. The next day, when we told the receptionist and asked if he could speak to the couple, all he said was oh I wasn't around and I am sorry to hear that. I then decided to speak to the night receptionist who told me that he would leave after 12am and that the man was probably drunk. Isn't this dangerous? What if there is a fight happening in the hotel and no one was there to prevent it? The concept is cool that it is a house (where everyone come together) but it wasn't explained explicitly what we are supposed to do in times of emergency and no one around to help.

The stay was average, the location is good and the room a reasonable size with aircon, the host was really nice. But, the room was not that clean, lots of dust and cobwebs, the room was very dimly lit, the bed sheet was not big enough for the bed so it kept coming off. The shower is in the toilet, they are not separate. Weirdly, there was always a load of dried cat food over the doormat in the entrance you have to step over. It was certainly a passable stay, but next time I think I would pay a bit more and go somewhere a bit nicer.

Very good, great, so comfortable and so clean unit homestay. This unit has part of the cityview and part of the seaview so you will have both views and it was nice. Overall, the hotel was fine, aircon was just right, cold enough for me. The deluxe double room has enough plugs for 2 people,water boiler provided as well but you have to find your own water to boil it as no drinking water provided. Our water heater was broken so we had to shower cold on the 1st night we checkerd in but staff was quick to fix it after we let them know. There was some problem with our door lock as it was quite loose and the alarm would ring if we don't push it in a bit after closing. Location was amazing as it was just a stone throw away from any delicious local food.

The location is good not too far from tourist attractions. Everything place is only 5km around you. The room is spacious which can fit up to 8people. The view is also nice which you be can see the very big swimming pool right below you. After all, it’s very easy to do self check-in, the security guard is also friendly and helpful. FYI: it’s not a ghost building. But this Atlantis Residence are loaded with nice people. You can see many super car at parking lot, many people come for swimming and many people in the building.
