I’ve been traveling India for 2 months, and the experience at Lucky’s was the most unpleasant so far. Regardless of the property being the most expensive accommodation in the area, it just felt like a total ripoff. We (a couple) stayed at the standard room, specifically asked for AC at the very hot and humid days of September. The hotel staff said the AC should work fine but if there’s a problem we should let them know (already quite suspicious). Not only the AC didn’t work fine at all and did not cool the room, but in the middle of the night the AC just broke and fell apart almost hitting our heads. Not to mention the constant dripping on the bed making it soaking wet. It was literally one of the worst nights of our trip. In addition, there was NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWERS whatsoever. In the morning, when the owner came to see us, he claimed that “it is not his problem and not in his hands, but uncontrollable machine issues” and in addition was quite aggressive and did not try to help with any resolution. As for the hot water, he said we should have told them to turn on the boiler, because “we have to choose between hot waters at winter to AC at summer” or some odd explanation of that ***ner. In conclusion, totally overpriced for the mediocre rooms and poor experience with not functioning AC and no hot waters in shower. Bad treatment from the owner did not make it any better. Would not recommend.

Nadeem took care of us really well. He's a silent ***, but very accommodating. He is attentive to details and even gave our driver a bathroom and a blanket because there is no designated place for the driver since it is after all, not a hotel. He was very kind. His wife, Ruhi, cooks all the dishes you can find in the menu and my were they good! Try having masala chai instead of coffee in the mornings. It is divine. Over all, I would say that this place is definitely something you'd want to come home to after a day of roaming around agra. Thank you Nadeem and Ruhi, for taking good care of us in your home. :)

The wife’s meal was delicious, a high-profile, two handsome sons and a pretty daughter, very warm, very close to the East Gate, only 5 minutes away, I went to ask for directions, the handsome younger brother also took me in advance. A trip to the East Gate. The hotel has an open-air bar where you can sit and watch the Taj Mahal. In short, it is recommended to stay.

Very good experience in this family guest house!! It has a lot of charm and the family is very nice and hospitable, they helped us with absolutely everything (with the advantage that one of the brothers speaks Spanish). It especially helped us when I got sick and we had to extend our stay at this hostel. I was lucky to be here and to be able to recover well and comfortably. It has spectacular home cooking, we tried several delicious and quality dishes. There is a living room with air conditioning and smart TV where we relaxed, ate and talked. The room was spacious, comfortable, with a balcony overlooking a green and quiet park, and above all, very clean. Without a doubt it is the best hostel of our stay in India, I recommend it 100%.

Amazing stay! We spent two days at da bungalow and got the best experience there. Everyone was very nice and considered. The host is very knowledgeable on the whole region and helped us with the organisation of the rest of our trip. He gave us plenty of good contacts/addresses. It is a very convenient place to stay since it is at good proximity to the main attractions (10 minutes from taj mahal in taxi), and that they offer great restauration in the hotel (exquisite food). The room was extra clean with all the facilities needed. 100% recommend!
