This really cute family run hotel is actually located on the edge of Heshun old town, which makes it ideal to explore the old town's small streets and the surrounding area. The building is very new which makes it comfortable and clean. But it still has a cute and homelike atmosphere with a small courtyard and an open design. We got the 'romantic panorama' room which was just perfect. The room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and we didn't miss anything. The best part was the big private balcony that includes a small bath where you can relax while watching the beautiful sunset against the mountains. The owners of the hotel are very sweet, helpful and go over and above to make sure you have a great time. We shared tea in the afternoon and got to know them a little bit which was very nice. They also told us a lot about the area which helped us a lot and was interesting, if you're not sure what to do or visit, don't be afraid to ask them because they know the area well beyond the touristy stuff on TripAdvisor. Since the volcanoes were closed (which we didn't know until we got there since no sites said this!), they suggested we visit a beautiful waterfall that had natural hot springs by Goligong mountain for a bit of nature. Moreover, they shared some of their homemade plum wine, fruits and other food with us which was really great. They even drove us to the airport to drop us off personally! All in all: this little gem is a definite recommendation if you look for a comfortable, cozy hotel in the Tengchong area
