At the end of them, the room is extremely small, though very clean. We appreciated the small sink and refrigerator, as well as the free coffee on offer in the store. The worst thing about our experience was tremendous noise from some machine in the street at 2 in the morning — louder than anything I’ve ever heard in an urban setting before. Still, in the world’s most expensive city, the price felt like a bargain, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

It was a tragedy this apartment. First we had No.21; there it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and the pizza supplier on the ground floor, the cutlery, the glasses and plates were dirty in the kitchen cupboard, the microwave was dirty, the extractor hood buttons were missing, the same was true of the stove. The bathroom had stains everywhere and was also dirty. At the second apartment No. 41; Luckily it no longer smelled of smoke and was ”cleaner” than the other one. In turn, it had also had many dirty places. For example the mold edges in the fridge, the make-up stains in the bathroom, the dirty (-not washed clean-) bath towels. The walls of both rooms were dirty and very thin. The gentleman on the phone was very snippy, arrogant and only agreed to give us another room when we really put pressure on him. Really a sad picture.

This was my second stay at this property having enjoyed one earlier in the year. The accommodation is simple enough but comfortable. It has a kitchenette with fridge which proved very handy given the heat as I kept it stocked with drinks. The electric plug in fan was also useful for same reason. Bed very comfortable although the softness of the pillows took a bit of getting used to. Building in the main very quite although if there is events going on outside you will hear. Great location tram/bus stop a couple of hundred yards away as is a nice pub, supermarket, main train station also walking distance as is the centre if Zurich so ideal for exploring. Definitely will be staying again in future.

The hotel is under renovation!!! All dirty, full of dirt, machines and people working! Upon arrival we do a “self check in” where to my surprise I received the keys to apartment 51! It shouldn't be a problem, but… the hotel has NO ELEVATOR 😱😱😱😱😱 They believe they rented a room in a building under renovation and without an elevator!!! I went up 5 floors with all my bags walking up the stairs!!! Finally, a nightmare! My money back would like to receive, if I hadn't made the advance payment I wouldn't even have entered here! Horrible! I do not recommend!!! O hotel está em reforma!!! Tudo sujo, cheio de terra, máquinas e pessoas trabalhando! Na chegada fazemos um “self check in” onde para minha surpresa recebi as chaves do apartamento 51! Não deveria ser um problema, mas… o hotel está SEM ELEVADOR 😱😱😱😱😱 Acreditam que fizeram a locação de um quarto em um prédio em reforma e sem elevador!!! Subi 5 andares com todas as malas andando pelas escadas!!! Enfim, um pesadelo! Gostaria de receber meu dinheiro de volta, se não tivesse feito pagamento antecipado nem teria entrado aqui! Um horror! Auf keinen Fall würde ich je jemandem dieses Hotel zumuten. Der Preis ist günstig, ja, aber davon sollte man sich nicht locken lassen und lieber ein paar Franken mehr ausgeben. Die Lüftung war so laut dass kein Gespräch mehr geführt werden konnte. An den Wänden waren Blutspuren (????), im WC waren Kotspuren, die Türgriffe wurden wohl noch nie geputzt da sie klebrig und schmutzig waren, es gab keine Handseife, das Bett war kaputt (Kopfteil war tiefer als Fussteil), Nachttische gab es keine und das Bett war wohl nicht frisch bezogen. Der Boden war dreckig und die Haupttür hatte gar kein Schloss sodass jederzeit jeder sich in dem Gebäude aufhalten konnte. Zudem wurde durch die Lüftung ein starker ********geruch und später auch ein starker Zigarrengeruch ins Zimmer geblasen, der den aufdringlichen Thaiessengeruch, der vorgängig im Zimmer herrschte, sogar fast überdeckte. Es gibt kein Personal im Hotel welches man ansprechen kann. Der Lift wirkte nicht sicher, einige Knöpfe schienen nicht zu funktionkeren. Wir haben uns nach kurzem 15 minütigen Aufenthalt dazu entschieden, nicht in diesem Zimmer zu schlafen. Zum Glück ist das auschecken genau so unkompliziert wie das einchecken, sodass wir den Schlüssel einfach nur in die check-out Box werfen konnten und gehen konnten. Close to Zurich station, but it was hard to find on the other side of the main street. And I was a little disappointed because it was a guesthouse in the hotel I checked in and the annex, and when I asked to press the bell every time I entered and opened, I took two people and I was close to a private night than a hotel, such as Elbe, a bathroom like a 간이 shower. Breakfast can go to the hotel and eat. Breakfast is generally a snack, so I don't want to recommend it
