Hospitality was wonderful, always clean, I really liked the kettle in the room. They gave you 2 coffee pods for the really cool coffee machine in the lobby area but the machine ran out of milk for cappuccino so it ruined one of my pods and there was no way to get any more. I had to use instant coffee that I brought with me or walk for coffee. Walk down Via Fiume...I was wandering around and found this very long pedistrian shopping area down Via Fiume with tons of great restaurants and shops. The room I was in was very large with a clean bathroom. The lobby smelled great, they have an air freshner plugged in, tons of brochures, and of course easy walk to train station. I also liked that it was on the ground floor, so no schlepping luggage up any stairs :-) The main drawback was trying to coordinate with the owners on arrival. They come and meet you to let you in and give you keys. I go there a little late because of the train and when I got there I rang and rang and rang the bell. No answer so I walked with my luggage and found a restaurant to eat dinner. He was waiting when I returned. One evening during my 4 night stay, someone else apparently ran into the same problem...as I was watching a movie on my ipad I heard the bell ringing and ringing and ringing. I was a solo female traveler and didn't feel safe enough to open the B&B door myself to let them in and wait in the lobby. So I had to keep hearing the buzz about 2 dozen times. I could feel their frustration since I also had to wait outside.

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights in July 2023, and had a fantastic stay. As soon as we arrived in Italy, our host Keta was in constant communication with us and allowed us to check in 4 hours earlier due to having an early morning flight from Edinburgh. Our room was immaculate, and we loved sitting out in the terrace each evening before dinner. The room was cleaned everyday and was always in a spotless condition. The location near the train station was perfect for us as we were visiting the cinque terre, and it was also near via prione where there are many excellent bars and restaurants. Would gladly recommend staying here to anyone thinking of visiting La Spezia and the surrounding area. Thank you Keta!

I was happy to come back. I took a fish on the island .... NC took two fritures (too much oil) But I would have given 3/4 stars because I like the context. When... my husband tells the owner who asks him:”All right? ”Mary,” yes... except the servant (a girl of about 20 years old, my husband 55) who served my wife before me. I tell you for the next vv. The owner's answer: ”Ah. Excuse me... you go away, come back, take your mask off and say with a smile:' I don't blame her, you're a good man!' And with this, we stood up, fritture left half, paid and gone!!!!! Except professionalism (inexistent), then what a good compliment to the lady!!! I think all the women would have stayed simple. Good life

Arrival information was sent by text messages from Alessandro. Its a difficult place to find with very narrow lanes to the apartments, however the information took us straight to it. A parking space had been reserved for us that was tight up against a fence but at least it was only a few steps from the apartment. The block itself is very old looking and right besides the train tracks in the town centre. No lift up to 2/3 floor and very old stone stairs. Reception is a desk inside a small hallway with the rooms leading from it. Alessandro arrived to check us in and gave us lots of information. The room looked directly out onto the train tracks. However, the room was nicely decorated, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, good bathroom with large walk in shower, no wardrobe (only hangers on a rack). Our first nights sleep was disturbed by the trains but by the second night we were so tired from having walked the 5 Towns, we slept better. The pillows were too hard for us and I had to use a small cushion to sleep on (a choice would have been nice). Breakfast is taken in one of two cafes - one at the train station. The better choice is about a 5 minute walk and in town. Personally, I would not have bothered and made coffee in the room as breakfast was only coffee and croissant (no fruit juice, as was advertised, in the station cafe). Overall, its very convenient for the train station and we were able to leave our car for the time we were there and explore the area by train. Wifi worked well.

Le 5 Terre La Spezia is a perfect place to stay while visiting Cinque Terre. It is a few minutes walk from the train station. The rooms are very comfortable and look just like the pictures. I stayed in the Monterosso room and it was bright and well appointed. It can be a little noisy because it is right beside the entry and reception desk but I would not change anything. The most special thing about this hotel is their reception. Erica is a pure delight. She is cheerful, engaging and extremely helpful with tips. Elletra was accommodating and full of good information. Both ladies are fantastic assets to this hotel. They made the stay at this place wonderful. Make sure you follow their advice. It will make your trip even better. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. I am sure they did not stay here.

Why trip.com allow hotel charge the customer card directly? The room is clean but has a lot of dust. The room detail page shown that there are the 2 single beds room but not. A big wrong info that make customer pay for.

The boss is very nice and enthusiastic. He will introduce different restaurants and ask me if I have any needs. The room is also clean, and there is a bottle of water, a kettle and tea bags for free, I think it is very good. The big drawback is that there is no wifi.
