I first saw this hotel recommended on a social media platform, and I personally prefer hotels a bit further from the town center. Upon arrival, it exceeded my expectations. The room itself was standard, which is understandable given the price, but it had everything we needed and was quite clean. Town facilities are generally like this, and there aren't many luxury hotels anyway. However, this one had a great rainforest vibe. On our first day, the owner patiently arranged a shuttle for us from town back to the hotel. On the second day, we were late for our island hopping tour and missed the shuttle, but the owner arranged another one for us without any complaints. On the third day, we were late again, and the owner arranged yet another car to make sure we didn't miss our island hopping trip. In the evenings at the hotel, the owner, who I believe is from Fujian, treated us to a lion dance performance and a firework show. He even generously handed out New Year's red envelopes and waived the drink charges for one person, apparently to commemorate his 6th anniversary in Malaysia. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. On our last day, we stayed in town, and it immediately felt much less appealing. You can also buy seafood and have it prepared at the hotel for 30 MYR per kilogram. Plus, this area is a private plot of land owned by the proprietor and has security, so it's very safe. Just don't go out at night; there's nothing to do out there anyway.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations! After comparing hotels throughout the town, this one's hygiene standards are definitely five-star. It was incredibly clean and tidy, making for a very reassuring and comfortable stay. The owner is exceptionally kind, warm, and thoughtful, and the staff's service is also very attentive and detailed, always ready to help with anything. They really went above and beyond. The hotel even provides mosquito coils and a swimming pool, showing great attention to detail. The only slight downside was that the food's flavor was just average; I hope they can improve this in the future. Overall, highly recommended!

The sanitation is excellent. This hotel is fantastic! The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so comfortable I fell asleep in no time. The front desk lady was warm and attentive, and the location is convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

This newly renovated hotel was such a lucky find! The room was spotless and brand new, and the bedding was super clean, just like what you'd find back home. The hotel facilities are very accommodating, no need to bring a universal adapter. The front desk staff was incredibly attentive, check-in was a breeze, and the room service was excellent. Most importantly, the location is unbeatable – KFC and Starbucks right downstairs, and you can catch a boat for excursions just across the street. A truly perfect trip. Diving was amazing!

Great value! It's incredibly convenient to walk everywhere, with the pier just a 12-minute stroll away. Plus, it comes with a private bathroom. Some folks might complain about minor things, but you can't expect the world. The room is clean, the bathroom is fully equipped for showering, and you can even dry clothes on the second floor. Honestly, what more could you ask for? I'll definitely stay here again next time. It's a mere 3-minute walk to Wangwang Suduowu, 3 minutes to KFC, and there's a small supermarket right in front of the hotel, about 10 meters away. I genuinely think it's a fantastic spot!

The location is fantastic, right by the Longmen Inn pier. There's a small balcony where you can hang things to dry. The room isn't big, but it's very clean, and the water pressure in the shower is excellent, perfect for a hot shower after diving – super comfortable! The only downside is the breakfast. There aren't many drink options, and on our last day of a three-night stay, all they had were tea eggs. I'd recommend skipping their breakfast and just grabbing something nearby. It's incredibly convenient to everything: the town's seafood market, Watson's, the supermarket, and the piers for boat trips.

The front desk staff speaks Chinese, and most of the guests are Chinese. The room is spacious and well-equipped, with complimentary bottled water. You can store your luggage for free at the front desk. There are restaurants, a supermarket, and other hotels nearby, and it's very close to KFC, which is super convenient!

First, the issues: the bathroom drainage was poor; you'd have to wait mid-shower for the water to go down. One day, the cleaning was only half-done. Breakfast was edible, at least there were eggs and bread to fill you up, but don't expect much in terms of taste. There's nothing much around the hotel. Other than that, everything else was pretty good. The service was nice and responses were quick. The room was clean, and it was quiet at night, perfect for sleeping. Although it's far from the jetty, the shuttle service was quite convenient. Compared to all the frustrating reviews for hotels near the jetty, I'm quite satisfied. I would stay here again if I come back to Semporna.

So glad I chose Alice Home! The Beijing boss is incredibly hospitable, and our remote communication was always pleasant and easy. He's super efficient! Their place was the most spacious and comfortable I found in Semporna for the same price point, and my kid even got to watch TV. The location is super convenient, close to the center and the jetty, and there are two highly-rated 4.8 Chinese and Western restaurants right outside. Plus, it's a rare quiet spot, and the entrance is well-lit. The island-hopping tour team recommended by the boss was also fantastic; they had a dedicated person accompanying my 5-year-old in the water, which made my child incredibly happy and me feel completely at ease. Next time I come, I'll definitely book in advance and only stay here! 🎉🏠

Overall clean room, but on second day, washroom have awful smell, asked front-desk to support,and they react fast and send technician and cleaner to help. Overall a good experience
