Central Tokyo Tokyo|2.87km from city center
A very large, traditional western styled hotel in Akasakamitsuke, which is close to some historical government buildings. Quiet surroundings but not immediately next to a neighborhoody type area. Just business buildings. But Shibuya and Harajuku are a couple subway stops away, about 20 min. Beautiful Japanese garden, and the rooms are fairly large. I liked its retro type feel. And the prices is reasonable compared to other large hotels as Okura or Hyatt. I also stayed at the Hyatt and I much preferred its full service and well trained staff.

Honestly, aside from the price, this hotel has no flaws. It has its own natural hot spring, free to use after 3 PM as long as you follow the communal bathing rules. After a thorough rinse, you can enjoy a relaxing soak. From 5 PM onwards, there's even complimentary alcohol served on the first floor. Every day, you can choose free pajamas and pillows, with various softness and firmness options available. There's an ice machine on each floor, where you can also get iced water. Fresh and clean bath towels and other linens are provided daily. The service is incredibly attentive and meticulous. Every time you leave, someone at the front desk wishes you a safe journey. When checking out, someone at the door will open it, bow, and wish you a safe trip. Downstairs, there's a ramen shop open until 4 AM, so even if you miss dinner sometimes, you're in the central Ginza area, with countless restaurants open until the early hours just a few steps away. The K S Higashi-Ginza Station is right at the doorstep. Across the street is the Higashi-Ginza Line of the Hibiya Line, and just one more street over is the Ginza Station of the Ginza Line, making transportation extremely convenient.

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi Tokyo|1.84km from city center
Hoshinoya Tokyo is situated in a tower in Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, uniquely blending a traditional Japanese garden with a high-rise hotel concept. While its immediate surroundings are dominated by corporate offices like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, its location isn't as prime as other similarly priced luxury hotels such as The Peninsula Tokyo or Bulgari, with a noticeable lack of nearby dining options or convenience stores. The service, on the other hand, truly made guests feel at home. Each floor boasts a dedicated Japanese-style common area, but the atmosphere felt a bit too rigid or rule-bound. For example, when I asked for a second welcome dessert, it wasn't possible. However, I would strongly advise against staying here for a business trip. Firstly, the hotel's policy of not allowing unregistered guests to enter is quite inconvenient and arguably unsuitable for a business-oriented establishment. Secondly, the hotel itself offers a rich array of experiences – from its two-Michelin-starred Japanese restaurant to kimono fittings, tea ceremonies, kendo classes, hot springs, and sightseeing bicycles. These features highlight its strong appeal for leisure travel, making it less ideal for business.

Tokyo Station/Nihonbashi Tokyo|2.06km from city center
My stay at VIA INN PRIME Nihonbashi Ningyocho was quite good overall. The location is very convenient, close to Ningyocho Station, making it easy to get to Tokyo Station, Ginza, and Ueno. There are also many convenience stores and small restaurants nearby, and it's quiet at night when you return. The room, while not large, was very clean and well-arranged. A pleasant surprise was being able to see the Tokyo Skytree from my window; seeing it lit up at night always brightened my mood, which was a nice little bonus. The bed was comfortable, and the soundproofing was better than expected, so I slept soundly. The only minor drawback was the 10 AM check-out time, which felt a bit early and made the morning feel rushed. However, the front desk check-out process was very quick and efficient. Overall, it's a practical and hassle-free hotel to stay in, with a great location and good value for money. If I'm ever in central Tokyo again, this would definitely be a place I'd consider rebooking.

Ginza/Tsukiji Tokyo|0.36km from city center
This was my first time visiting Tokyo, and I stayed at Agora for five days: 🤵‍♀️ During check-in, although the staff didn't speak Chinese, they provided detailed check-in instructions in Chinese. All the front desk staff I encountered during my stay had excellent attitudes.👍🏻 🧹 The hotel usually cleans rooms every three days. If you need daily cleaning, just put the magnetic sign from your room outside your door before noon on that day. 🛏️ I chose a twin room, and when I opened the door, I found they had pushed two single beds together. The size was decent, and two adults could sleep comfortably without feeling cramped. 📍 The location is excellent. Downstairs, there's a restaurant called Bansuke that serves delicious fried fish ochazuke. Just a short walk away, you'll find FamilyMart, Lawson, and 7-Eleven. There are also drugstores and restaurants at the large intersection outside. 🚇 Higashi-Ginza Station is just around the corner from the hotel entrance, making it very convenient to take the Asakusa Line and Hibiya Line. There's also an express train directly to the airport; just check Google Maps for the schedule. If you prefer to walk to Ginza Station, there's a dedicated underground passage, which is very convenient. 🛍️ If you want to go shopping, most malls are about a 10-minute walk away, and the street is quite lively. 💦 The only downside is that the room is indeed quite small, with barely enough space to lay one suitcase flat. But honestly, for this price, getting such a great location is already very satisfying. The experience was excellent, and I'm grateful to Agora for a wonderful memory of Tokyo.🥰

We were really satisfied with this hotel! It was our last two nights in Japan as three girls traveling together, and the location was absolutely perfect. Step out, and there’s a FamilyMart on the right, followed by Donki. Walk straight from the main entrance, and you’ll reach Ginza Six. Many popular Instagram-worthy spots are within walking distance. We highly recommend the Yellow Soup Curry—this hotel is a bit pricey, but that’s expected in Ginza.

Basic with the necessary for a night stay and yet very comfortable. Room is big enough for my luggage to be open up fully and space to walk around and sit down at the coffee table for a meal. Best is the location , Foo’s everywhere , walking distance to imperial palace and the JR train station! Shopping area is also here. The Marunouchi street is also just on the other side of the JR Tokyo station - easy to walk there. The stay is Value for money. Love the free drinks available at lobby with waiting area to rest. Self service Laundry corner also at the same level - super easy. I’d recommend this for next stay in Tokyo.

Arrived at the airport in the middle of the night and needed a place to crash; this hotel was a decent option for a short rest. The room cost a bit over 500 [yuan], and a taxi ride was about 70 [yuan]. It's very close to the subway. I got in at 1 AM, so the hotel shuttle wasn't running anymore, but overall, it was still pretty good.

There was a lot of dust, so I always kept the door open. The ventilation wasn’t good, so even when I opened the windows, it felt stuffy. The air conditioner is the only ventilation option. It’s a straight distance from Ueno Station, and there’s a 7-Eleven convenience store nearby. The hotel is also connected to a small drug store and the check-in lobby. The service was very friendly. If you’re looking for a private room near Ueno for under 10,000 yen per night, I would recommend this place. As of August 2025, accommodation costs in Japan are very expensive.

Onyado Nono's quality is consistently reliable across all its branches. This particular one, located in bustling Asakusa, is incredibly convenient for travelers. The hotel is just a short walk behind the temple, with numerous food stalls and supermarkets nearby. One of the supermarkets even has a 24-hour basement food section, which is incredibly convenient! The only minor drawback is that, being in a popular tourist area, the streets can get a bit noisy at night.

Tokyo|5.86km from city center
This was my second time staying here, primarily because of the beautiful courtyard and gardens, which I absolutely adore. Overall, the experience was decent but unremarkable. The facilities are certainly showing their age; for instance, the water pressure from the shower head was quite low, and the fabric on the chairs was visibly worn. Some service details, however, were rather disappointing. When I inquired at the front desk about purchasing a bus ticket to Narita Airport, the staff member quite seriously (but dismissively) told me that it might not be possible to buy one due to lack of availability. Yet, the very next day, it was just myself and one other Chinese gentleman on the bus, and he had apparently secured his ticket in less than two minutes. I found this incredibly frustrating! Given that Chinzanso itself has a dedicated airport bus stop, guests are naturally going to have questions requiring proper assistance, making the front desk's unhelpfulness quite unprofessional. That said, the overall service level is generally still above average.

Dormy Inn chain hotels indeed offer guests a high-quality accommodation experience. The hotel facilities are well-maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the public areas are modern and practical in design. The breakfast service is particularly noteworthy, with a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties and classic international options. The ingredients are fresh, and the cooking is professionally done, providing guests with ample energy to start a great day. Overall, Dormy Inn consistently demonstrates the high standards expected of a chain brand in both its hardware facilities and service details.

While the room is not big, and the air condition coupd take some times to start getting cool, the hotel is nice. The breakfast is a normal japanese breakfast, so it would be a big plus for anyone who love those kind of meals The location is really convenience. Just 10 minutes pf less walking from useno and okachimachi stagion, surrounded by all the foods, shoppings, and night life. (And it was very quiet and serene in the morning. ) The onsen/public bath is good. If you are early or time it a bit, it would be almost no one there. A plus for those who might be intimidated by the culture. Also, maybe most of the customers are foreigner, the percentage of public bath enjoyer looks pretty small.

The toilet flushing system gives a very bad smell for days. The room corners and doors actually have a lot of dust on it. Poor cleaner limited time n nan power Hope they can improve on clearing the dust - basin shelf areas, toilet door, near mirror. The 2 pillows are too flat and my neck was in pain for some days in the mornings. But all the rest of service, onsen and night snack made up for it. The breakfast is almost the same every morning - please change the chicken meatball dish, it's not nice. The eel rice was initially ok but after eating for few days, i can't eat for a week. Changed to eat clear porridge better. Wish they can be clear which omelette has mushrooms or not - love the ones with mushrooms. A lady who works night shift came to my room to help me with my rubbish as i didn't need them to come into my room when i was unwell so i put the no cleaning magnet but she went the extra mile beyond cleaning hours to help me throw my rubbish. For the toothbrush n paste set, for those staying for a week, we don't need so many toothbrush but the paste more. But had to take 2-3 sets which is not environmental friendly due to the toothbrushes that come together.

My strongest impression was how small the room was. The moment I walked in, I even considered canceling, but my reservation was for 6 consecutive nights and couldn't be changed. I gradually got used to it over the next few days. The service was completely smooth thanks to the Chinese-speaking staff. I mainly chose this hotel for its hot spring (the most famous chain was fully booked). The hot spring is just 'there,' nothing particularly outstanding. Breakfast is a buffet for 1300 JPY, and you need to reserve it. It's quite simple and light, which suited me. The location is less than 100 meters from Akihabara Station, on a quiet riverside alley. Taking a taxi from Haneda to the hotel around 9 PM cost over 9,000 JPY (I just gave 10,000 JPY). Checking out was problem-free as I'd pre-booked online. All things considered, for 6 nights at 6500 RMB, I'd recommend staying here.

This was my second stay at the Imperial Hotel. At its current price point, it offers decent value for money in Tokyo, especially considering that even budget hotels in Ueno can go for over 1,000 JPY. However, to be honest, the hotel's location isn't the most convenient. It takes about 8-10 minutes to walk to the nearest subway station, and the elevator is even further away, which can be a hassle if you have luggage. That said, the hotel's service is absolutely top-notch. The doorman literally ran out to greet us and helped with our luggage, escorting it all the way to our room. Cleanliness is also completely trustworthy; the bedding and towels were entirely odorless. Conferences are frequently held here, with many Japanese businessmen in black suits hurrying about, creating a very solemn and dignified atmosphere.

If you're attending a concert, this is definitely the place to stay. It's incredibly convenient. If you don't mind a short walk, there are even more subway lines available within about 10 minutes, making it a quick 20+ minute ride to Ginza, Shinjuku, and Omotesando. While the room's fixtures and fittings are a bit dated, they are very well-maintained and spotlessly clean. For Tokyo, this room is quite spacious, and the hotel staff are very friendly.

Shinagawa Tokyo|5.46km from city center
Here as a business traveller. The room design is dated but clean. Breakfast is amazing here. This is a convenient place to stay because shinagawa prince hotel has multiple towers connecting to one and another. Each tower has different shop ie golf simulator, massage, bowling alley etc. 7-11 is right downstairs at annexe tower. This hotel is just a short walk across Shinagawa train station, making this hotel a highly convenient place to access office. Downside is there is no convenient hotel bus pickup from/to Haneda airport. Would be even better if hotel offers this service. Room also has no USB plug since it’s dated design. It’s abit tricky if you plugin UK adapter since the weight would press down and charging process will get interrupted. I had to prop up the weight with something to charge my phone but there is constant sound coming from the plug. There’s not much to tour around in shinagawa area if you are here for leisure. Better to take JR line to Ginza as tourist. Would consider staying at different tower if I need to be back here again.

Location: Exiting Shibuya station, there's ongoing construction, so you might need a moment to find your bearings, but it's not difficult to locate, situated directly opposite Tokyo Plaza. Facilities: The hotel is very modern, featuring a spacious lobby and relatively new room amenities. It comes equipped with a full set of L'Occitane toiletries, and as a delightful surprise, we also received an SK-II morning and evening skincare sample set upon check-in. Environment: The view from the window is absolutely stunning, both by day and night. I snapped a quick photo, and it honestly looks like a perfect backdrop for a blogger's video – haha! Service: The front desk check-in service was excellent. However, for a hotel of this standard, the breakfast quality felt a bit basic, with limited options. Coffee and tea had to be brought by staff – I'm not sure if that was meant to make guests feel more pampered or exclusive. Overall, the breakfast was just average, but everything else was great.

This time, I stayed at The Peninsula Tokyo with my daughter for a vacation and felt happy and satisfied, especially with the attentive facilities and staff. Coincidentally, since our departure date fell on a weekend, the hotel specially opened the 24th-floor Peter for guests to have breakfast, allowing us to enjoy a panoramic view of the Palace in the morning. Ginza/Tsukiji Tokyo|0.49km from city center
The best hotel I’ve stayed so far in Tokyo. Ginza is my most favorite district in Tokyo, and knowing Ginza as a luxury place, it is surprising to be at a 4-star hotel that doesn’t break the bank. I love the location that it is near to everything that you need - train station, Don Quijote, konbini, pharmacy, malls. The cherry on top - the great view of the skyscrapers of Tokyo, especially the Tokyo tower from a distance. I like how the room is designed to have a great view of the skyscrapers as well aside from the lobby. The room was quite small, but I do understand due to the limited spaces and such in Japan. Even though the room is small, I’d still give it a 5/5 due to the overall cleanliness, view, amneties, elegance and luxurious vibe that doesn’t need to be expensive, great toilet and bath as special mention. The staffs are very helpful and attentive. Their simple greetings and smiles are more than enough to make you feel welcome and brighten up your day/night. If I would go back to Tokyo in the next couple of months, I will definitely book again on this hotel, as this is the gem I’ve found. If the management will allow, I would like to have a special mention to Sue (I’m not sure if the spelling is correct). She is very attentive to me and helped me ensure that me and my dad’s luggage are secured, and of course when it was time for me to get the luggage. She is polite and made me felt warm with the little and quick side conversation we had. Hope to see Sue again when I come back. It is nice to meet her, and hopefully may keep in touch. Thank you management team for always keeping your guests welcome and at home. -Mark

We booked this room for my parents since they had an early flight out of Terminal 3 the next morning. The room's amenities, size, and service were all excellent. It's directly connected to Terminal 3, so they were there in just 5 minutes the next day. Plus, we could bring the luggage cart right into the room the day before and just roll it out in the morning. The hotel service was incredibly good and super fast. The mini-fridge was fully stocked with all sorts of complimentary drinks, teas, and alcohol, which was a really nice touch. The room was a good size, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view before a connecting flight. Right below the hotel, on the second floor, there's a mall with plenty of shops, and on the first floor, there are many restaurants. It's very convenient for both shopping and dining. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a small, boutique hotel located diagonally across from Suidobashi West Exit. I booked a room with two beds pushed together; each bed was about 120-130 cm wide, making a total of around 250 cm, which was really comfortable. There's no luggage rack, just a small stool, so I had to put my luggage on that. The room was very dark, so I slept soundly until morning. Breakfast is a set menu you choose from. Check-out is at 2 PM, and breakfast is served from 7 AM to 11:30 AM. There aren't many tables, but because of the long service time, people are spread out, so it never feels crowded. The taste is comparable to a brunch costing about 70 RMB in China, so it's pretty good. I stayed for one night, then in the morning, I went to Tokyo Dome and Koishikawa Korakuen Garden next to it. It's also not far from the Imperial Palace. Located at the border of Chiyoda and Bunkyo wards, it's in a pretty central area.

The location is incredibly convenient for transportation, right next to Sengakuji Station. The A4 exit is the closest, with the hotel just 50 meters away. (Do note that A4 doesn't have an elevator; for elevator access, use A2, which is about a 10-minute walk to the hotel). From Sengakuji Station, there's direct access to both Haneda and Narita airports, as well as Sensoji Temple. JR Takanawa Station is also only a 10-minute walk away. For added convenience, there's a 7-Eleven right on the ground floor of the hotel. The rooms are compact but perfectly adequate for a comfortable stay.

I recently stayed at S-peria Inn Nihonbashi Hakozaki and had an excellent experience. The hotel is very well-managed, exceptionally clean, and the staff are friendly and proficient in English. The breakfast was delicious with good variety, and having laundry facilities available on two floors was very convenient. The location is ideal with a subway station nearby and convenience stores just around the corner. I would definitely book this hotel again for future visits to Tokyo. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

The hotel breakfast offers a wide variety, including sashimi, miso soup, and Western pastries. The only downside is the coffee, which isn't great. The hotel itself is very well-designed; though small, it makes excellent use of space. It's also connected to the onsen at the adjacent mall, which is lovely for a soak in the evening. Just outside the hotel, there's an all-you-can-eat Japanese hotpot that's really delicious. For Odaiba, it's super convenient for accessing the three malls and various attractions.

The location is super convenient, whether you're traveling for business or with family. It's incredibly easy to get around and shop. You're right in the heart of Ginza's shopping district, making it an excellent choice for exploring and dining. On weekends, there's even a pedestrian street where you can join shopping groups from various countries and have a great time.

There's a mold. But all in all is nice to stay especially when u only need to sleep because your outside exploring some places.

Located in Shinjuku West, though it's quite a walk from the actual Shinjuku West Exit, it's much closer to the Tocho-mae Station on the Oedo Line. The self-service check-in/check-out was very convenient. Downstairs, there's a hotel food court and Family Mart and Lawson convenience stores. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building is right outside, offering free access to its observation decks, and rumor has it the civil servant cafeteria is also open to the public and quite affordable. The hotel breakfast is so hearty you usually don't need lunch. For shopping, Shinjuku East Exit offers more budget-friendly options. Overall, it's a good hotel.
