Top 10 Parador del Teide Hotels

This was our third stay at Hotel Botanico, and we felt like we were returning 'home' after a gap of 2 years because of Covid. This is such a beautiful hotel, in a stunning, peaceful garden setting. The rooms are excellent, the staff are so friendly and helpful. Beautiful swimming pools and amazing spa facilities. There are lots of restaurants and bistros very close by, as well as the hotel's own restaurants, and a shuttle bus leaves for the main port just a 10 minute ride, which is full of restaurants, bars and shops etc. Jet 2 holidays were efficient, helpful, and all the arrangements worked.

The room was extremely clean and the small kitchen had everything you need, except an electrical outlet. If you want to use the kettle or coffee maker you have to place them on the living room floor because kitchen's only plug is on a awkward place. We knew that there wouldn't be AC on the room, but because bedroom's window opened into a hallway the air in the room was musty and way too hot (even when using a fan provided by the hotel). As a light sleepers we were happy to find out that on the evenings and nights there was hardly any noise coming from outside or nearby rooms. The breakfast was pretty good and could be even better if they served something else besides the instant Nescafe. The location of the hotel is great If you're looking for a peaceful holiday but be prepared to hire a car or use money on a taxi, because everything is a small hike away.

Definitely will be back! We have just had a weekend fri-mon eve and will be returning! The Hotel is quite big and has a adult only pool with a lovely view almost like a infinity pool, then there is a big pool for all! It states a infinity pool and Jacuzzis which is for premium guests but we didnt need it. Both are lovely enough sunbeds. Activities throughout the day around the pool area! There is a snack bar, crepe bar and even a chocolate fountain one night! It is kept clean and there awesome many bars to help yourself or order. There is a sports bar and entertainment every night! The rooms are basic, aircon and everything you need. The food choice is huge! You are spoilt for choice! There are plenty of tables. The food isn't piping hot but we loved it! It generally was really nice! Even vegetarian choices and soya milk and lactose free! There is plenty to do, pool, air hockey, a little park for kids! Games and table football! A kids club! A supermarket 1min away! Sun loungers towels can be hired. If you want late check out, definitely pre book. Can't wait to come back!

This is a lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean, great facilities, wonderful staff, food ok for the type of property BUT there is this weird “privilege” ranking for guests that absolutely ruined the experience. You pay a premium rate to stay here. In our case we spent more to upgrade our room but then found that there is a two tier system applied. In essence, premium guests sit in a mezzanine restaurant looking down on the plebs. We are served singles glasses of wine and spend every meal trying to catch the eye of over worked waiters to ask for another. We had to sit in the same garden restaurant for lunch (again segregated seating) watching them have an extensive menu of what looks to be, lovely food whilst our options were rubbish burgers, hot dogs or other cheap and poorly prepared other choices. I cannot describe how humiliating this was and we have never felt so poorly treated. I’m certain that the stock response from the hotel will be “we are sorry but hope you’ll come again etc.” Well we won’t- there are plenty of terrific hotels that TUI offer that make you feel appreciated- H10 don’t with this ridiculous segregation, so my advice is to choose another or, if you feel drawn by the location - go B&B and take advantage of the many local bars and restaurants.

We spent 6 lovely days at the Hotel Las Aguilas Tenerife. The hotel is clean and comfortable. All the staff here are very friendly and speak several languages. We stayed in a suite which was comfortable and clean. We went all inclusive and the variety of foods available at meal times was wide, catering for all needs and preferences. There is a free bus which takes you down into Puerto de la Cruz and back if you want to walk along the beautiful harbour and coast, or see the town. There is evening entertainment every night in a comfortable bar. There is a separate pool area for those over 14 if you prefer a more peaceful time by the pool. The main pool is very clean and lifeguarded the whole time it is open. We would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel has a great deal to recommend it. It's in a delightful old building that has been lovingly looked after, with shining woodwork everywhere and generously proportioned bedrooms (as well as extensive public rooms). However, it would be wrong to suggest that it's all old-fashioned: the TV was hi-spec and the wifi functioned very well. The breakfast too was excellent, with great choice. All in all, it probably the best of the four places we stayed in during a recent visit to Tenerife. Highly recommended.
