The room size was excellent- with a large bed, a seating area and comfy reading chair. It had an alcove closet with plenty of space. The service was fabulous, with the staff being very welcoming and helpful. The room service food was delicious and arrived on time. The only improvement I could suggest would be for better bathroom lighting in the shower area and perhaps a magnifying mirror for us senior clientele. 🙂 The location is great but the public transportation around the hotel is not so good. Lucky, taxi services are available and reasonably priced.

The room was clean and very spacious, bed was huge, bathroom was nice, breakfast was so so good. Every single breakfast food option known to man was available in abundance until 10:00am on the dot. staff were excellent and very professional. The amenities like the gym and sauna were great. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to anyone.

Good! In the city center, it is very convenient to go anywhere, the living is very comfortable, the front desk is very warm, go early, help us save the luggage, and take out the map, tell us where to go. well! I just don’t know if it’s because Ctrip’s house price is cheaper than other houses, and the room is facing the ice machine. It’s a bit noisy!

The hotel is located in the most prosperous area of Vancouver. The sea and the pier are right outside the window, and you can see the big cruise ship. It is very close to FlyOver Canada, just a few minutes' walk away, and 600 meters away from the Gastown Steam Clock. Very satisfied 👍

The hotel is very centrally located. Numerous shops from well-known luxury brands, as well as restaurants and a good shopping center, are in the immediate vicinity. We had a Fairmont Gold room with extra concierge service and access to the lounge. The staff was very friendly, wonderful, and the room was fine, albeit a bit worn and noisy from the street and hallway. The doors to the other rooms slam shut, meaning you're often rudely awakened at night and in the morning. The included food and drinks offered in the lounge were of high quality. However, 15 minutes before breakfast was due to end, they announced that the buffet was about to close, which I found very uncomfortable. Even though they made an overall effort to ensure our stay was pleasant, the price for the room seems a bit too high. Some of the guests in the lounge were also very particular and stared at us every day ;-)...Side eye.

We stayed with four friends. The hotel is conveniently located downtown with excellent access. As we were on an upper floor, street noise wasn't an issue. We also felt very reassured as some of the staff could speak Japanese. The room itself was quite small, and with four of us, it was challenging to open our suitcases comfortably. One thing to note is that the air conditioning blows directly onto certain sleeping areas, so be mindful of potential dryness and a sore throat.

I didn't realize at first that this hotel chain is also owned by Marriott. Sure enough, I couldn't upgrade my room through a third-party booking platform, and was only given the lowest floor, the 5th floor... I recommend using Marriott membership to book your room. The front desk was very welcoming, offering cookies and drinks, and apples and iced drinks in the lobby. The hotel is a bit far from the cruise ship embarkation point, so if you have a lot of luggage, you'll definitely need a taxi. Uber is not far from Stanley Park and Suspension Bridge Park. The breakfast was a la carte, which exceeded my expectations.

Service was good, room was clean and well equipped, although short on coffee pods. The decor was dated as were all appliances and fixtures. Chairs and coach were all low (not good for a bad back), the toilet was also old and low. Best feature was close proximity to the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Worst ”feature” was being told the room had a king bed, but no, just a queen. The isn't the only hotel that misrepresents their beds, what an annoying trend. The onsite restaurant pub is very average. Fries were greasy but my Buffalo Chicken Wrap and my wife's Bacon & Tomato Soup were ok. Service in the restaurant was excellent, very helpful waitress.

The hotel was great because it was centrally located. It was clean, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful and the cleaning staff were very attentive as well. We were able to check in early and leave our luggage at the hotel after we checked out so we could enjoy our last day without worrying about it. Fifteen years ago, entering and exiting was a hassle because it relied on a password, but now they provide a card, making access much easier. It's quite clean, likely due to frequent cleaning. If it's not peak season, I can have a large room all to myself. It's affordable, and I can toast bagels for breakfast. The Wi-Fi works well, which is a plus since some regular hotels don't even have it. It's really cheap. Seems like a good option for solo travelers.

My husband and I stayed overnight in Vancouver to see a hockey game. The hotel is close to many amazing restaurants within walking distance. It is also close to Rogers Stadium so that is always nice so we don’t have to pay for parking or cabs. The staff were amazing and accommodating as we’d asked to have a room with a balcony, which they were able to do. We had dinner out but had brunch in their restaurant which is on the 5th floor. The atmosphere was so magical, all decorated for Christmas but it was also warm and inviting. For whatever reason (maybe bcause it was a Tuesday morning) we were the only ones in the restaurant until half way through our brunch, then only one other couple shared the dining room with us. The food was INCREDIBLE and our server Lee was the sweetest most kind person I’ve ever meet. After our brunch we sat by the fireplace with our coffees, relaxing before our 12 pm checkout. It felt like we were in a Manhattan brownstone. We will definitely be coming back in the future and certainly will recommend this hotel to our friends. Staying at LHermitage was an oasis in the midst of a very hard 3 weeks of me just having lost my mom. Thank you 🎄❤️

The location of the hotel is very core, next to the trump building. The hotel service is very good, with luggage, the front desk is very warm, and also introduced us to Vancouver's play places and food. After communicating with the front desk, I also changed the room with a bathtub. The overall evaluation was very good. The room was very clean. I am truly grateful that the staff allowed us to check in early upon arrival. After a long 14-hour flight, that gesture already made our experience wonderful. The room is clean, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the view is beautiful. My only small complaints are that there were no bedroom slippers provided, and the coffee machine only makes warm coffee rather than hot. Overall, we had a lovely stay. The location is super convenient! You can walk to Stanley Park, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the famous Robson Street, where you'll find plenty of options for dining and shopping. There's even a free shuttle to Capilano Bridge Park right around the corner, in front of the Hyatt Regency hotel, which is incredibly handy. There are tons of restaurants and cafes nearby, making this one of the best locations in downtown Vancouver. The service was also good, and the little handmade doll in the room was really cute – though it costs $40, which was a bit of a shame, haha. Check-in and check-out were both quick. The only downside is that the price isn't cheap, and it can be a bit unaffordable during peak season. But having experienced it once, it was definitely worth it.

The only thing I don't understand is that there is a line in the booking introduction that there are alcoholic drinks in the room, but in fact Only capsule coffee and bottled water are provided, and alcohol is charged. Had a great stay at the Sandman Hotel in downtown Vancouver! I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a room with a king-sized bed, which made the stay extra comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of downtown with easy access to shops, restaurants, and major attractions. It was super convenient to walk around and explore the city. The staff were friendly, professional, and quick to help with any questions I had. The room was clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The only downside was the $25 per day charge for parking, which I wasn’t expecting. It’s something to keep in mind if you’re bringing a vehicle. That aside, everything else was smooth and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a centrally located hotel with comfortable rooms and great service, the Sandman is definitely worth considering. I’d happily stay here again!

I chose this hotel mainly because it's very close to the Canada Line, only a 5-minute walk away. However, the facilities are indeed quite old, which doesn't quite match the nightly price. The hotel basically has no lobby. Check-in was efficient at night, but there were no doormen to help open the door or carry luggage. I must commend the breakfast; it's an à la carte trial, like having a trendy brunch, and the restaurant service was very good.

We really enjoyed our two night stay here, it was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The service was great, everyone was very nice and welcoming, especially Daniel and Greta. Pros: The bedding was very comfortable, and the duvet was just the right thickness. Having a microwave in the room was very convenient, and the mini-fridge was restocked with 2-3 bottles of mineral water daily. We returned to the hotel late in the morning, and they readily agreed to a late check-out. Cons: The room we were given was very noisy; the window soundproofing was terrible. We heard car horns, alarms, and ambulances and police sirens from downstairs, along with all sorts of other miscellaneous sounds. Additionally, the smoke alarm in the room would inexplicably go off in the middle of the night. The toilet in the bathroom wasn't cleaned properly in the corners, with residual urine stains.

Even though I was on the lowest floor (3rd floor), had earplugs in, and kept the windows closed, I could still hear a constant rumbling. The facilities were outdated, and the lighting was dim. Very convenient location if your sim is to be right in the city center. The two subway train lines are within a couple of minutes walk ,as is the main high street. The Canada line provides a direct route to the train station (tip: buy a day ticket and it will cost less that the ticket to cross zones plus the additional airport surcharge). The Canada line is so convenient that if you did not care about being in the city center then staying somewhere else along the line further out may be cheaper. Hostel was clean and well organized. There is a strict no eating in the room policy, though there are kitchen facilities to be used. Hire a towel. Rooms and front entrance has key card access. Room has no Aircon so can be warm, though there is a small electric fan. The room with two beds has bunk bed, cages under the bed and a stool….that is it. There are no privacy curtains, individual dockets or lights for each bed, only the main room light so make sure you have a touch/light, though as the curtains do not block all street light the room feels as it has a nightlight on and does not ever get really dark. I stayed Saturday and Sunday night. Sunday was quiet , though the hostel is above a bar and do Saturday had music playing for many hours while trying to get to sleep not the place for light sleepers.

GGeiorgiestravelsVery convenient location if your sim is to be right in the city center.
