Following the front desk lady's recommendation, I went to Feifei Shrimp Restaurant for crayfish, and then enjoyed a very pleasant stroll along Jianghan Walking Street with a gentle breeze. Overall good, there are a few personal suggestions
1. The hotel rooms are basically equipped with private soup. The hotel's hot spring center has to charge an additional 98 people to enter. This is recommended to improve or adjust. The private soup is actually to go to the hot spring center. Look at the difference, Call the front desk to ask if you can wear clothes to see if you can't soak, and answer that you can't. But I was inside later, and I saw three people in down jackets and went straight in. What is the situation? In fact, I bought a ticket for 98 people and went in and turned back to the room to soak in private soup. I personally think that whether the private soup room type can consider giving away tickets to the hot spring center.
2. I arrived late, there was no parking space on the ground and underground. The security guard at the door guided me to park at p7. After the pass, the license plate recognition system was closed. Later, I called the front desk to know that I had to call the security guard to open the door manually by honking the horn. This is indeed a bit outrageous. The security guard who guided the parking space didn't tell me to honk the horn.
3. I have stayed in the same type of hot spring hotel several times. Private soup can generally provide optional medicine packages and the like. It is recommended to study.
4. The check-out time is 12 o'clock. The front desk did not explain when checking in. I got up at 11:30 the next morning. I called the front desk to ask if I could postpone it a little bit. I was afraid that it would be too late to wash. The front desk would keep repeating the check-out time at 12 o'clock. In fact, I can understand that the room is full on weekends, and getting up late is my own problem. Telephone communication is just in case. The front desk training is not enough. Overall, it was a great experience. We got 3 rooms for our family of 6 w/ 2 kids on the 20th floor. This hotel is next to the river so the view is stunning. Overlooked the great Yangtze River. Night view was mesmerizing. All the skyscrapers lit up in sync around the city along side the river. Jaw dropping. We went in mid June and the river was flooding due to heavy rain. There's a big walk way next to the river where lots of people went to hang out even when it's flooding. Real cool. There's also a famous street similar to Beijing Road in Guangzhou a few blocks down. Forgot the name. There's an upscale modern mall called MixC 15 min taxi DD. We're from California and this mall is comparable to our socal South Coast. During summer flooding season, it may be an issue traveling to the other side of the bridge, so just keep that in mind. I gave it a 4 star for cleaniness because I expected our room to be a bit better. One of the rooms we stayed had this old, a bit smoky smell. I'm assuming someone smoked in it given majority of the population in china seems to be smoking like a chimney. The Pearl gave us great modern comfort to an alienated(to us) city.From€48

This was my first time staying at the Marco Polo Hotel. The location is superb, right next to the Hankou Riverfront.
We had initially booked a city view room for two nights, but the view wasn't ideal. A staff member then showed us a river view room, and we upgraded to a partial river view room, which had a fantastic view.
The room was well-appointed and very quiet. The toiletries were excellent, and the first mini-bar was complimentary, offering a good selection of beverages.
Upon check-out, we left our luggage with the concierge. The staff were very attentive and even gave us a small gift, which was a thoughtful touch. Thank you!
Executive Lounge Experience: The service at the executive lounge was excellent, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Enjoying the river view and light show from the lounge was a wonderful experience. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, the glassware designs were nice, and there was a good selection of drinks.
The only issue I encountered was with the executive lounge breakfast service. Unlike other hotel executive lounges where staff proactively take orders from a menu, here I consistently had to ask for the menu myself. Furthermore, the dishes often didn't match their descriptions. For instance, the teriyaki salmon was listed with hash browns but was served without them. The waffles also had inconsistencies, sometimes missing fresh banana slices or syrup. The portion sizes were also inconsistent; one time we received four pieces, and the next time only two. I hope these aspects can be improved.
Another minor inconvenience was with taxis. On several occasions, drivers stopped by the roadside and couldn't reach the hotel lobby, citing the navigation system's endpoint. Unless explicitly instructed to drive further, it was a hit-or-miss whether they would go all the way to the hotel entrance, which was quite inconvenient.

On our first day, we arrived at the hotel just as a wedding procession was taking place. Our taxi driver dropped us off early, so we had to carry our luggage ourselves and check in at the front desk. It certainly didn't feel like a five-star hotel's concierge service. Luckily, we encountered a concierge when we were leaving, otherwise, this stay would have been a huge disappointment.
The twin room we got didn't have the small table and chairs by the window as shown in the promotional pictures. With two of us staying, only one person had a chair, leaving the other to either sit on the bed or stand. The bathroom faucet was an old-fashioned rotating type, and adjusting the hot and cold water in the shower was incredibly inconvenient – anyone who's used it would know. It feels like the hotel's facilities could really use an upgrade.
Upon checking in, there were only two bottles of water in the room, and on one of the days, the tea bags weren't restocked. Was this an oversight by the staff or intentional? The welcome amenity was mooncakes, but I honestly would have preferred welcome fruit.From€57

After ordering extra 4 x half liter bottles of water we received complaints of needing too much water. Either ask for extra money or not, no one will complain about paying some extra for water. But stop the indecisive complaining towards the customer.
Cleanliness: The carpet in the room had many dirty spots and especially near the entrance door it didn’t look clean. Also in the bathroom the faucet of the bathtub was rather old and moveable where it should not be.

I stayed many times at this hotel as I frequently travel to Wuhan and it saddens me to say this hotel service is only worsen every time I stay there.
It is the ONLY 5 stars hotel in China where no one assist you with your luggage when you arrive or go.
No one greet you, you receive nothing from the management, no fruits at your room, really nothing is welcoming you to stay there even tough I always take the largest room.
Breakfast (especially the famous Wuhan hot noodles) was not good in the first two days, don't know what happened that it changed after. no consistency no service really nothing special in the room.

What can I say? What an amazing stay again. I’ve stayed for work events in which we used the ballroom for our work celebration. I then came here for peace when my father passed away. This was the one place I knew I could come that brought me peace and happiness. This trip was for my anniversary and it was beyond amazing. We decided to to go with a suite and the reservation came with a free photo shoot. Our photographer, Xiao Liu, was kind and the photo shoot was an amazing experience. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the dinner buffet has live entertainment and amazing chefs as well. We also wanted to get massages too but ran out of time. We will get them next time. Chinese people are pretty reserved when faced with foreigners, sometimes cold downright. You won't get the enthusiasm of wanting to please you. It gets better if you speak chinese but if you don't then make sure you have a data plan that allows for Google Translate. Talking about data plan, be prepared to get a provider that has high data caps, or even unlimited. Wifi in this hotel is not foreign device friendly.

The staff was really helpful as well there were some language barrier miscommunication but they went above and beyond to clear it up. The Sauna is only for men, they have a steam room for women.

Overall, it was a great experience. We got 3 rooms for our family of 6 w/ 2 kids on the 20th floor. This hotel is next to the river so the view is stunning. Overlooked the great Yangtze River. Night view was mesmerizing. All the skyscrapers lit up in sync around the city along side the river. Jaw dropping. We went in mid June and the river was flooding due to heavy rain. There's a big walk way next to the river where lots of people went to hang out even when it's flooding. Real cool. There's also a famous street similar to Beijing Road in Guangzhou a few blocks down. Forgot the name. There's an upscale modern mall called MixC 15 min taxi DD. We're from California and this mall is comparable to our socal South Coast. During summer flooding season, it may be an issue traveling to the other side of the bridge, so just keep that in mind. I gave it a 4 star for cleaniness because I expected our room to be a bit better. One of the rooms we stayed had this old, a bit smoky smell. I'm assuming someone smoked in it given majority of the population in china seems to be smoking like a chimney. The Pearl gave us great modern comfort to an alienated(to us) city.From€48

This was my first time staying at the Marco Polo Hotel. The location is superb, right next to the Hankou Riverfront.
We had initially booked a city view room for two nights, but the view wasn't ideal. A staff member then showed us a river view room, and we upgraded to a partial river view room, which had a fantastic view.
The room was well-appointed and very quiet. The toiletries were excellent, and the first mini-bar was complimentary, offering a good selection of beverages.
Upon check-out, we left our luggage with the concierge. The staff were very attentive and even gave us a small gift, which was a thoughtful touch. Thank you!
Executive Lounge Experience: The service at the executive lounge was excellent, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Enjoying the river view and light show from the lounge was a wonderful experience. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, the glassware designs were nice, and there was a good selection of drinks.
The only issue I encountered was with the executive lounge breakfast service. Unlike other hotel executive lounges where staff proactively take orders from a menu, here I consistently had to ask for the menu myself. Furthermore, the dishes often didn't match their descriptions. For instance, the teriyaki salmon was listed with hash browns but was served without them. The waffles also had inconsistencies, sometimes missing fresh banana slices or syrup. The portion sizes were also inconsistent; one time we received four pieces, and the next time only two. I hope these aspects can be improved.
Another minor inconvenience was with taxis. On several occasions, drivers stopped by the roadside and couldn't reach the hotel lobby, citing the navigation system's endpoint. Unless explicitly instructed to drive further, it was a hit-or-miss whether they would go all the way to the hotel entrance, which was quite inconvenient.
Overall, the experience was quite pleasant, and I would definitely consider staying here again!From€61
