I stayed for three days. The room wasn't big but it was very refined and clean, you could tell a lot of money was spent on the renovation back in the day. The pillows weren't comfortable, and the toothbrushes, shower gel, and shampoo were of poor quality; there was no razor. Deji Plaza is right across the street, where Fan XX was reportedly seen, and I used the million-dollar restroom there. The subway station is also convenient, making it easy to get to any scenic spot in Nanjing. Definitely avoid the buffet, it's not worth it.

My stay at Jinling Hotel was absolutely perfect! It's located right in the prime Xinjiekou area, making transportation, shopping, and getting around incredibly convenient – truly a fantastic location. The view from my room on the 55th floor was absolutely breathtaking. I could see the Yangtze River stretching like a ribbon and the entire cityscape of Nanjing, an amazing scenic experience. What truly stood out was the hotel's service. The staff were warm and attentive, especially YYH, whose professional and thoughtful service truly showcased the hotel's dedication to its guests. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back again!

This is genuinely a first class hotel with very reasonable prices. The room was very large and richly appointed. It had all the amenities you could ever wish for. The bathroom includes a large shower and a soaking tub with a picture window overlooking the city. The hotel is connected to a large shopping center and sits on top of a metro station, which is incredibly convenient. The staff at the hotel was extremely courteous, helpful and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and would return without hesitation.

I stayed at this hotel during my recent trip to Nanjing for a conference hosted by the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, primarily due to its convenient location. While the hotel appears to have been around for a while, my overall experience was absolutely fantastic! The service and facilities truly went above and beyond typical five-star standards, completely exceeding my expectations. To my surprise, the room even came equipped with a massage chair – a real lifesaver! After a long day of exploring, sinking into it just melted all my fatigue away. And get this: the toiletries were JURLIQUE! Many genuinely five-star hotels don't even offer such a luxurious provision. During turn-down service, they thoughtfully provided fresh, seasonal fruit and mung bean porridge. Each bite of the fruit was wonderfully sweet and refreshing, truly showcasing the hotel's exceptional care and attention. The attention to detail was simply impeccable. They provided everything from mouthwash to dental floss, and even offered two types of slippers – woven bamboo and cotton. In summer, the bamboo ones were naturally cooler, which was such a thoughtful touch! Next time I'm in Nanjing, I'm definitely staying here again! And I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting the city – you absolutely can't go wrong with this choice!

The room was quite spacious. Our initial room was too hot, but the front desk promptly and enthusiastically helped us switch to a different one. The cleaning staff were also very helpful, proactive, polite, and genuine. The hotel is a bit old, but its location is excellent. It's just a 5-minute walk to the original Jiming Tangbao restaurant and the famous internet-famous fried dumpling shop. It's also very close to the ancient Jiming Temple, Xuanwu Lake, and the Ming City Wall. There's an underground parking garage, and while the breakfast spread was decent, the taste was just average. The doorman was proactive and helpful. There's a small gym and an indoor swimming pool available.

The lady at the front desk was incredibly sweet, and check-in was super fast. She even upgraded my room for free! The room was huge, with a floor-to-ceiling window that just cured all my stress. I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel staff's service attitude is excellent, and the front desk is polite and enthusiastic, responding quickly when needed. The hotel's location is also very convenient, right in the city center. 😊 I'll definitely be back to experience it again next time!

Xuanwu Lake Scenic Area/Jiming Temple Nanjing|2.12km from city center
Facilities: Average Cleanliness: Average. I understand not being able to open windows on the 71st floor, but the room was so dry my nose bled and my throat hurt, which was very uncomfortable. They really should add a humidifier. Because it was so dry, any movement in the room stirred up a lot of dust. This isn't a problem with the cleaning staff, but rather the extreme dryness of the room. Environment: The view outside the window is indeed nice, very impressive. Service: Average 1. We booked a room type that should have been around the 66th floor, but we were upgraded to the 71st floor, which I really appreciate. 2. I booked the room through Ctrip, and Ctrip indicated that my credit was sufficient and no deposit was needed. However, at check-in, I was still required to pay an additional 1111 as a deposit, which contradicted what Ctrip said. I completely understand paying a deposit, but why was it 1111, then became 1110.98? 3. When booking, it showed complimentary welcome fruit, but we didn't receive any. I always stay in five-star hotels when traveling, and welcome fruit is always placed directly in the room; I've never had to ask for it like this. And I only remembered and asked about it on the second night, and then they told me I had to go pick it up myself. Summary: The outdoor scenery is beautiful, but the night view has too much reflection on the glass to get a good photo (I used a DJI, and even post-processing couldn't remove it). The third picture is a daytime shot from the 71st floor. Honestly, you can get great photos from the 45th floor (second video), so booking a standard room is sufficient. Especially after seeing the comparison (first video).

Before arriving, I saw online reviews saying the hotel was a bit old, so I didn't have high expectations. After staying, I found that even though the hotel has been open for a while, the decor is classic and timeless, and it's well-maintained. It's clean and doesn't have that musty, old smell. The hotel's location is super convenient, right at Exit 2 of Xuanwumen Metro Station, making it very easy for transportation, shopping, and sightseeing. Plus, all the hotel staff are very service-oriented and have great attitudes. This old-established hotel offers excellent value for money. It was a very pleasant stay.

The advantage is that there are few people. The temperature was very high this weekend, and the air conditioning in the room did not work for cooling and ventilation. The room was very stuffy at night, and the air did not circulate even when the doors and windows were opened. I couldn't get through to the front desk at around 8pm, and finally got through at almost 10pm. The staff sent a dusty floor fan, but it was still stuffy and I couldn't sleep. The room I booked was full of delightful surprises. Equipped with state-of-the-art smart devices, I could effortlessly control the curtains and lighting via a smart panel, which felt incredibly modern and high-tech. Holly and Gloria provided confident and thoughtful service. The room's decorative details were so impeccable that even a detail-oriented person like me couldn't find a single flaw. Every touch, from the exquisite artwork above the bed to the plush cushions on the sofa, truly showcased the hotel's high-end taste. Checked into Nanjing Xuanwu Hotel! The location and the high-altitude restaurant are incredibly impressive~ Choosing the right hotel in Nanjing is so important! The Xuanwu Hotel's location is absolutely perfect; it's right next to the subway entrance, so getting around is a breeze. Whether you're visiting attractions like Xuanwu Lake and the Presidential Palace, or taking the subway to Xinjiekou and Fuzimiao, it's super convenient, saving you time and hassle. I have to rave about the Xuanhu Restaurant on the 20th floor! The food selection is incredibly rich, with a good balance of meat and vegetables. Whether you prefer light or rich flavors, you'll find something you like, and the taste is authentically delicious—every bite is a winner. Plus, you can dine while enjoying a direct view of Xuanwu Gate. The expansive views, coupled with the lake and mountain scenery, make for such a delightful experience. Hexi/Golden Eagle World/Wanda Plaza Nanjing|6.2km from city center
The group purchase offer was incredibly good value. Staying at a Hilton for this price was definitely a steal. I'd recommend staying here at the beginning of your Nanjing trip and then moving to the city center. Otherwise, taking a taxi to/from the train station during evening rush hour is a struggle due to heavy traffic and the considerable distance. Over just two days, taxi fares for getting to attractions and meals added up to over 200 RMB. Service: Upon arriving by taxi, no one offered to help with luggage. It was only on our departure day that a front desk manager (I presume) personally asked if we needed assistance. The proactive service from the general staff was notably absent. The restaurant started clearing up before 10 AM. While the manager did give me a heads-up, I was surprised to see staff putting items directly onto their carts without avoiding guests who were still serving themselves. It felt like they were in a huge rush to finish their shift. On a positive note, the housekeeping staff was very polite and greeted us warmly, and requests for water were promptly fulfilled. The front desk also gets a thumbs-up for services like umbrella rental, which were readily available. The young lady at the front desk who handled our check-in was very meticulous and security-conscious. Location: The hotel's location is quite remote and far from most major popular tourist attractions. Facilities: The room facilities felt dated, and the basic TV lacked smart features like screen mirroring. However, the view from our balcony room was absolutely stunning. Luckily, there's a swimming pool – a bit small, but perfect for families with kids this time of year – and even sauna facilities. The 15 RMB ice cream is not recommended.

Standard old hotel. 1. Whether it is the security guard at the door, the front desk staff or the room attendant, the service attitude is super good, very enthusiastic and patient. 2. The lobby on the first floor is connected to Starbucks, which is very convenient for taking a taxi or riding a bike. 3. The room facilities are still relatively old, the round table and shoe rack are almost shaking violently, and the sink drains slowly. The bathtub and toilet are next to each other, which is still inconvenient if a family travels in an emergency. What I want to say here is that the toilet pressure is really not good, at least press it twice, I don’t know if it’s too old or the water pressure problem. 4. The rooms are all carpeted, and the hygiene is not good. The room lady does not clean one room after another. Sometimes I feel that I have skipped my own and have to go out to explain. The sound insulation quality is OK. 5. There are many types of breakfast, which are also standard Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine. The only bad thing is that it is said that the meal is from 6 to 10 in the morning, but at 9:30 the waiter starts to urge people to collect things. Or they just sweep the floor while the guests are still eating, and there is quite a bit of dust. This still needs some improvement.

Room Room came with a beautiful view and the rooms here were above level 37. Downside was the air conditioner was centralized and no way to adjust the temperature. Our room was very warm and stuffy in a cold winter night. After speaking to the front desk, they offered a change of room, which was definitely way better than the first room. Location 20 mins car ride from Nanjing south station. A huge mall with many offerings, including an indoor playground for kids, could be reached within 5 minutes walk. Breakfast Great international spread with the usual stations - egg, salad, noodle, pastry, fruits, etc. Service Concierge at level one was very helpful! Proactive is offering assistance. Pool Temperature was alright during the winter. Although the water looks clean, our daughter had a stye on the eye after a swim.

Nanjing truly lives up to its 'furnace city' reputation – it's scorching hot! To my dismay, upon arrival, the front desk informed me I had booked a windowless room. My heart instantly sank. But as budget-conscious students, we had no choice but to reluctantly accept it. Stepping into the lobby, I was enveloped by a refreshing blast of air conditioning. The hotel's decor is elegant and comfortable, and during check-in, a friendly staff member even offered us lemon water. Despite being windowless, the room was clean, cozy, and didn't feel cramped at all. The space where a window would typically be was cleverly designed as a decorative cultural lattice wall, blending in seamlessly. According to the staff, the hotel has a 24-hour fresh air system, so the room never felt stuffy. The location is excellent, conveniently situated right next to Metro Lines 1 and 2. Surrounded by delicious food, beautiful sights, and wonderful company, the vibrant local atmosphere was incredibly therapeutic!

The hotel is close to the Provincial People's Hospital, easy to park, and the hotel room is very nice, but it is far from the subway station, and it is not very convenient to eat and shop around. It depends on personal needs.

Awesome stay. This was our third time staying here. They gave us a late check-out. Upgraded our room for free. Held our luggage for us. The only complaint we have, someone gave my significant other sass at the front desk for not adding them on WeChat 😂 Sass all around.

The hotel is great for the price. Good location across from a park with a lake. Beds were comfortable, and clean. The room was cleaned daily. Bottled water provided. The towels were soft and absorbent. The buffet breakfast, at 30 RMB was good. Coffee! A good selection of choices. You can fry your own eggs. Steamed buns and fried noodles. A good choice. Friendly staff. A convenience store right off the lobby. One peculiarity: The toilet was immediately behind the door, which always hit it when entering. The shower is small, and the water escapes to soak the bathroom floor... But towels provided. Toiletries provided are good.
