We just came here without many informations about this hotel, but their hospitality from staffs was Really Really great. I felt like I was staying 5+star hotel from their kindness. Picked up by hotel car, free sauna, free to use mini bar, great balcony view considering the cost of staying, and also took us to the station again when we left. I would strongly recommend this hotel, and there is also sister hotel named Hotel Daniela probably also great guessing from my experience from Hotel Chesa Valese. Hope everything well to the hotel family and staffs. We really have enjoyed to staying there.

At the same price, Pateau Rosa is a room facing Matterhorn, just opposite the cable car, but I just want to book this one. Thinking that there are few skiers in August, this is so biased, it should be upgraded to a south-facing room for me. I really want to think too much, the Swiss ski team trains to live here, full room 🤣 But this small hotel is really loving, each room has a large balcony The room is small, but clean and warm The bathroom is big enough with windows Zermatt water quality is very good, bathing is very comfortable Room service will put you a bottle of water every day, although it should be the water pipe There is free lemonade and honey cake at the front desk, the taste is very good, especially when you come back on foot, very happy You can store ski gear, there is a door directly outside, very convenient The front desk service is intimate, English is good I used to talk to you. ⚠️ From the train station to take a taxi, Zermatt's small bus is not allowed to carry luggage. I booked a negotiated price of 23 Swiss francs in advance, and I spent 35 euros on the spot. Enough time, not too tired, the return journey is not bad, most of them are downhill, and it takes half an hour to walk to the train station.

The hotel is in a great location, perfect for enjoying the quiet before the tourists arrive. The breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the white beer IPA is worth trying. The hotel has heating, which was very comfortable at night. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep.

The location was excellent, just near Zermatt Bahnhof and easily accessible from most places. The room came with a balcony overlooking the mountains, offering a stunning view — we even watched black neck sheep while enjoying our dinner and coffee. The stay was comfortable overall, though note that no amenities like toothbrushes or shavers were provided. Breakfast offered a decent spread of continental options with limited hot food, but the croissants were especially commendable.

the location was good. u can see matterhorn clearly but unfortunately there is a big construction crane block some view. On the way to hotel from zermatt station if you follow the google map, it gonna lead u to hard way, very high upslope hill. it will be better if hotel provide u the easy path way to hotel.

The room is small and cozy for two people but if there are three people then there is hardly any space to move around after unfolding the sofa bed. So, it’s okay if you plan to stay for 2 nights. It was interesting that they offered free beverage coupons if you don’t avail housekeeping services. The receptionist in the evening was very cheerful and jolly for a good conversation to hear about local news.

Location is slightly further from the train station, however you can hire a local EV taxi for est. CHF5/person from hotel to the train station (together with your luggages). Breakfast spread was decent and would recommend if you’re traveling on a budget to Zermatt. Down the road you’re able to see this Matterhorn view!

Its a 10-min walk from the nearest train station. It has a beautiful view from the balcony where u can sit and have a coffee. Spacious room and had a bath tub so its a plus point. The room is clean. I love everything abt this place. Will definitely recommend this to our friends and families

Location is at the far end of the town from the train station but there's free E bus around. Check in is seamless as instruction is clear No air-conditioning in the room as you can only open the windows to rely the cold wind

Initially I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel based on reviews but it was a good stay!! Great value for Zermatt! Walking distance about 10 mins from Zermatt station, on shopping street. Toilets and stairway up a bit small but ok for us. Luckily we were located on first floor so didn’t have to climb up too many stairs with our luggage. There’s a pizzeria below. Things to note: didn’t see a bin ( only a small one in toilet) so maybe bring your own plastic bag for a bin as well as room slippers. Place was clean! However there’s some loud music that played even in the wee hours of the night like 3am, so if you are a light sleeper, you might need to put on some ear plugs to muffle the noise out. Nonetheless, A huge thank you for the stay. Convenient, Breakfast was awesome, simple spread but very heartwarming and the coffee was the most delicious I’ve had. It was the Easter weekend so there’s pretty Easter eggs for breakfast too! The lady owner was lovely and check in and check out was very easy and seamless. We stayed for a night and would recommend this place.
