We just returned from a two week 'family-moon' which was truly our favourite holiday. Some of the staff at this resort became more like friends and went over and above. Lots of people mention in their reviews that people with mobility problems will struggle here. I have muscular dystrophy and I do agree, at times it was tough going. However, the buggies were there to help and I often rang to ask if they could pick me up. Ivan was an absolute gem and he would stop and give us a lift if he was able. The restaurants I would probably give the food a 3/5, some of the options were delicious (head for the slow cooked meat section next to pizza). However, the hot holding of food meant things were overcooked by the time you were eating them. We never went hungry though and always found something! The bars and their staff, again work so hard! We got to know the pool barman (Thea's coffee) well during our staff and we will miss him! Yiannis at the entertainment bar was my son's favourite and he was emotional to say goodbye. Try the Melon Schnapps with pineapple juice in the main bar, I loved it! Our room itself was lovely, we had a stunning view and it was very modern and clean. Again we made friends with the cleaner who even put the cushions back under the duvet for me, as I'd had to raise my legs at night. Probably our main issue was that we think we were located by the septic tank. The smell when we arrived and for the first few days was very strong, and this was on our balcony too. However, the hotel did offer for us to swap rooms when possible. After around 4/5 days the bad smell became less frequent and we didn't want the upheaval of moving rooms so we stayed put. Another tip is don't go without a fire stick if you watch TV, there's only news channels available. Although we don't watch it in the day, we usually like to watch TV at night so ended up using our phones. We came with an 11yr old and sadly, the evening entertainment was a bit young for him. But we enjoyed the quiz every night and went to the acrobat and magic shows and did enjoy those though. The amphitheatre was very uncomfortable, but after a few rums you forget. However, people sadly don't control their children. Watching small children run up and down these steep steps, weaving in and out of crowds, was terrifying at times and I got a kick to the back more than once. I would recommend for older children taking games to play in the bar, we would play cards every night and also use the pool table and arcades. The Hangout for teens wasn't open and sadly some of the 7-12 kids clubs were just too young. The TUI team were fab, friendly and extremely helpful. Available on site to help and advise every day. Overall we had an incredible time. The staff were wonderful, the location is stunning, the weather is beautiful. We hope to come back again next year.

Introduction: My recent trip to Crete was an unforgettable family adventure. Staying at TUI Blue Elounda Breeze for 7 nights, we enjoyed a perfect blend of relaxation, activities, and warm hospitality. From exploring local attractions to indulging in delicious meals, every moment was a joy. Destination Highlights: We visited Agios Nikolaos and Elounda, two charming areas in Crete that offered a mix of beautiful scenery and rich culture. 1. Elounda and Spinalonga: • During our stay in Elounda, we took a boat trip to the historic island of Spinalonga. Instead of a guided tour, we opted for a self-guided exploration, which allowed us to take in the fascinating history at our own pace. The boat ride itself was scenic and enjoyable. Accommodation Experience: Our stay at TUI Blue Elounda Breeze was fantastic. The hotel was very family-oriented, with friendly and helpful staff who made our stay comfortable and memorable. 1. Food and Dining: • The food at the hotel was brilliant, with a great variety to cater to all tastes. We appreciated how the hotel provided child-friendly options at their level, in addition to the adult menu. The drinks were standard, and we had no complaints. Special thanks to Yiannis, who always had our orders ready before we even asked. 2. Kids Club and Entertainment: • Our son loved the kids club, where he made crafts and received a certificate at the end of our holiday. One highlight was seeing him on stage receiving a certificate from Captain T, part of an initiative to encourage healthy eating and trying new foods. The entertainment was geared towards families, ensuring everyone had a great time. A big thank you to Lauren, Inigo, Emily, Claire, and Julia for their hard work in keeping everyone entertained. Glad we won Quizstorm and Where in the World as my alias “John” lol 3. Staff and Hospitality: • The staff at the hotel were exceptional. Guides Ellie and Freyja were particularly helpful, always going out of their way to greet guests and ensure we were enjoying our holiday. We also had a wonderful conversation with Roger, who manages an enthusiastic and loyal team. One of our favorite moments was the Saturday night dance show, where all the staff got up on stage to perform. It was a delightful experience. 4. Housekeeping and Room Experience: • One tiny issue we encountered was ants in our room. We informed the reception at the beginning of our holiday, but unfortunately, the issue wasn’t resolved. However, this didn’t put a downer on our holiday, as housekeeping was attentive and cleaned our room every day. 5. Check-Out Experience: • There was a little confusion at check-out, as we initially thought it was at 12 PM, but it turned out to be at 11 AM. Sadly, we couldn’t get an extension on our room, which would have cost 60 euros. Despite this minor hiccup, the overall experience remained positive. Final Thoughts: Our overall experience in Crete was lovely, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere at TUI Blue El

We stayed here as part of a TUI holiday and whilst there were a lot of positives about the hotel, overall I found the frustration and disappointment of the problems outweighed the good points. Overall, this feels more like a 3 star than a 4 star hotel (other guests we spoke to agreed). For a review it would definitely get three stars, but in terms of value for money it only gets two. Firstly the pro's: - food choice was great and good quality (a lot better than we had expected for an all inclusive), and there was a kids buffet at low level laid out allowing kids to help themselves. - three main pools, plus the slides, splash park and kids spray park. - the TUI reps were great and the kids club good, although space was limited and it got booked quickly. Evening entertainment was also good for kids. And now the not so good: - dirty and unclean poolside areas. Lack of staff meant that dirty cups and food were left out all day attracting swarms of wasps around cups, spilt drinks and the bins, making it dangerous for kids to play safely without the fear of getting stung (a guy next to us stood on a wasp). The pool areas never seemed to be swept or mopped. - no hot water and a terrible shower. The tap and shower never got hot, thet were barely luke warm, and the shower was more of a trickle. The rooms in the villa next to us had the same issue so it wasn't an issue specific to us. We complained but nothing ever came of it. - sunbeds around the pools being reserved despite lots of signs telling guests not to reserve sunbeds! The staff did not do anything to discourage this. - lousy drink options. There was no option to pay for premium drinks. A wine list was available at dinner, which we had to ask for, although it was never offered and some staff didn't even know about it when we did ask for it! Despite the ice cream being free, they refused to make the kids a milkshake because 'it is not on the list' and wanted to charge for it (I also complained about this). - there are two a la carte restaurants, but they don't open every day and availability was limited, so despite trying to book several times through the TUI blue app and reception, we didn't get to try either. - the beach bar never seemed to open and there is no beach here l, just a rock pool, which is nice for swimming but some high ledges so not good to leave smaller kids to play by themselves. - very steep hills made it feel a bit of a trek going back and forth to the room from the pools and restaurant.

We travelled as a family of three in mid May and all had a wonderful time. The hotel is lovely, modern and clean and the facilities such as pools and splash park are excellent. We stayed in a very spacious one bedroom apartment with the most fabulous 180 degree view of the bay and Spinalonga (room 1108). I don't think I booked a sea view room so if this was complimentary then I thank you Elounda Breeze! The staff are very friendly and make a point of engaging with the children. We had a lovely room cleaner who remembered our son's name and would chat to him as we passed daily, as did the ladies in the restaurant. The food was very good and plentiful with a vast selection to choose from. We walked into Elounda one day to visit the beach. It was a bit of a trek with the buggy and my advice would be to take a taxi next time - we certainly did on the way back! I thought the village of Elounda was pretty with the harbour and nice places to eat dotted around. I have no negatives to report about this hotel. The only thing I would change which actually has nothing to do with the hotel, would be to book a private transfer from the airport to the hotel. I had seen the comments regarding this and I decided that being low season maybe the transfer coach may not have so many drop offs but I was wrong. So yeah! start your holiday a little earlier and treat yourselves to a transfer.

We enjoyed our week at this hotel,(long transfer as others have commented.) Quick check in,sandwiches waiting, and Driven to our room in buggy.(bonus) Majority of staff very pleasant and very obliging. Special thanks to the lovely Victoria(customer relations) we had small problem with room however, she soon sorted this and every time we saw her she always checked we were happy, also Sula (quiet pool bar) so lovely.oh and the lovely lady in reception (sorry didn't get name)but she knows who she is.Also flora (works v hard) and Ivan who drove the golf buggy, always there when we needed him. Room was spotless, cleaned daily, beds really comfortable, maids all friendly, clean towels every day. Pool- very clean, towels provided too.no problem getting a sunbed either. Food - always something to suit, good variety, wonderful selection for children, well labelled, would have liked to have seen kleftico and stiffado on menu(just our choice as we love greek food) Speciality restaurants also recommended. Drinks- the usual all inclusive. Lacking entertainment for older generation, (we don't all use apps.)however ideal for families with children. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel especially for families. All staff work very hard and are so friendly, they are a credit to this hotel. Would love to return if the journey from airport wasn't so long. Thanks again to all at TUI Blue.

We highly recommend this hotel for young families. Restaurant is very good with the staff being extremely helpful regardless of the mess our little ones made. Menu varied each night with food stations suitable for all ages which was to a good standard. Our room was clean and fresh with the hotel being in an ideal location. All the staff were very helpful and couldn’t be more accommodating.

Pros: - all of the staff were incredibly friendly and polite - room was clean on arrival and cleaned daily - a bottle of water was in the fridge when we arrived along with a bottle of wine on the unit - we had a ‘private pool’ which was cleaned most days - food was provided on arrival (sandwich baguettes) which was nice as we arrived around midnight and the latest food is served at the hotel is 9:30pm so we would have had to wait until morning to have something to eat after travelling for quite some time - there is a mini market on site with a wide range of snacks, drinks, pool floats, personal hygiene products, etc… - some nice views to be seen from around the main pool bar area Cons: - the food in the main restaurant was pretty much always cold, their methods of hot holding need some improvement - the drink portions are incredibly small, I was not drinking alcohol as I am pregnant but my husband was drinking beer and after the second day he took to ordering two at a time as they came in half pint glasses with a huge head so effectively 1 beer is approximately 1/3 of a pint. - the hotel is very remote, there is a ‘private beach’ nearby but it’s not really a beach, it’s more like a carpark with a rocky walk to the waters edge - outside of the hotel there are no footpaths so it is not idea for exploring especially with young children as the roads are narrow, bendy, and steep - we had a power cut in the middle of the night and woke up to our daughter screaming in the pitch black, she then would not go back to sleep - for 2 days the weather wasn’t great, very windy and rainy which I know can’t be helped however, the door to our room kept rattling with the wind and rain water found it’s way under the door making the tiled floor slippy (not ideal in the dark!) - the ‘private pool’ we paid for was overlooked by neighbouring rooms on both sides so I believe they need to rethink the naming of this room choice as it is misleading - the flight times were dreadful and the transfers we’re 1h & 25m each way - hotel is full of steep slopes, by the end of day 2 my calves were on fire and I’m a fairly active 30 year old, I imagine some lesser abled people would struggle a fair bit getting about and it is absolutely not pushchair friendly, we took 1 and only used it once the whole week - outside there are ants EVERYWHERE (although there was powder down a lot of the time so they are trying to do something about them) - communication needs improving, when we arrived we were given wrist bands and room keys but no information about the hotel or it’s itinerary, the man who took us to our room pointed out where the main restaurant was on route and where the main bar is but did not give us service times etc. The following morning another guest told us the service times of the restaurant and informed us that information leaflets are available at reception but you have to ask for them so we did. The information in the leaflet was incorrect as it states that the ma

This was our first family holiday, it was amazing and we made some great memories. Our room was perfect, really modern, spacious, and plenty of storage. It was cleaned daily. The resort only opened on the 1st May so it was still really quiet when we got there which was really nice actually. We had the whole pool area to ourselves with only 2-3 other families. There were 4 pool areas so plenty to choose from. The food was incredible, the best I’ve ever had at an all inclusive. Different themes every night so you never got bored of the food. Desserts were so tasty and a large variety to choose from too. The kids really enjoyed the kids club, they wanted to go everyday. They made some great things and came back with all sorts. The TUI ladies were so friendly and reassuring, the kids loved them. A special thanks for TJ, Lilly & Caitlin. The kids and I had a soft spot for them. The hotel is clean, modern and lots to offer, however the location isn’t the best. Elounda is a 20-25min walk. Has some lovely bars/restaurants and shops but not very big. Taxi - €9 one way. Agios is about a 20min taxi ride - €16. A lot bigger than Elounda but still has similar things to offer. We were going to go on the glass bottom boat but someone from the hotel went and said it was a waste of money. Only saw a few fish and were squashed together. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially in early May when it’s nice and quiet.

From check in to leaving this place is amazing. Friendly staff and beautiful rooms. The quiet pool was lovely and overlooked the beautiful Taverna restaurant which was outstanding. Even provided a buggy ride to the restaurant! Where to start we arrived late due to a delay and at 1am the check in was smooth and friendly even a sandwich provided. Room was clean and big and had plenty of storage space. Rooms were cleaned daily and had fluffy towels - nice. Pool towels also provided and body wash and hand wash in the bathroom also a good hairdryer. The pools were clean and big plenty of loungers and parasols. We chose the quiet pool and the lady was so lovely at the drinks area. Kept it really clean all day. The restaurant served high quality food. The choice was outstanding and the staff so lovely each and every one of them. Breakfast and evening meal just perfect all hot choices were hot and fresh and the salads fresh and cool. The desserts were perfectly displayed and a good choice I loved them! The snack bar had an enthusiastic chef who looked so proud of his dishes. There was a lovely choice of quality snacks. The gyros were great. Beautiful snack bar. We went in the lounge area at night I was overwhelmed by the quality of drinks and service. The daiquiri was my favourite cocktail. We played cards in a peaceful surrounding. The outside entertainment looked good although we only watched the fire show as we waited for our outward transfer. The beach inlet is 5 mins away and lovely cove both day and evening and Elounda a 40 minute walk ( we never found a short cut and watch for the traffic) a taxi was euros but worth it. Tui staff are visible around the place s as no always a cheery smile. Lifeguards were around the pool area. It was really relaxed and not busy a perfect couples destination for a pamper and chill holiday and nothing was too much trouble for the lovely staff. The Taverna restaurant oh my days I can’t put into words how amazing img this was. So much food! All cooked to perfection and served by 2 lovely ladies who worked so hard you saw them in the other restaurant during breakfast or evening meal. So to finish the cons… The only con was having to leave this amazing well run exceptional hotel. I have travelled to quite a few places but this one really is an all rounder of excellence. I will visit again both me and my partner want to come back and will choose a quit time once again as I feel it would be a little busy during school holidays. Thank you to management and staff you are all amazing
