A small en-suite room in an unremarkable independent hotel. So close to the chateau, such potential. Nothing intrinsically wrong. It’s just that it needed some upgrading with, maybe, some colourful wallpaper and more vibrant décor. Space for 4, maybe 5, cars immediately outside.

We had a very enjoyable stay in a beautiful village. The hotel was very convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The manager was friendly and did try to accommodate us but we found the room very small for two people to move around. There was no aircon or fan when the temperature was approaching 40C. No kettle in the room or place to make coffee and tea etc. We wouldn’t choose this hotel next time.

The outside looked tired. The reception was clean and the checking in manager extremely helpful and polite.
Our room was very basic but tge bedding and towels were good and spotlessly clean. The big disappoin**ent was the the room had a constant smell of urine, really not pleasant! We left early and I had decided to tell the manager about our stay, but he didn't ask!
Lesson learnt; pleased I'd found a bargain, but you do get what you pay for.☹️

Accueil très sympathique. La chambre est d’une propreté irréprochable, d’une taille correcte avec un lit gigantesque. La salle de bain n’a pas le look tendance mais très propre avec WC séparés. Très bien situé, nuit tranquille. Le petit déjeuner est classique avec des produits de bonne qualité.

Hôtel bien placé dans Azay le Rideau de toutes visites a faire aux alentours a pied ou autres accueillant ,serviable, disponible... Notre chambre correct juste il manquerait un petit meuble dans la salle de bain pour déposer le nécessaire toilette,buffet PdJ👍...
