Port Talbot

Had a lovey stay at this Premier Inn. Room was clean and spacious and the bed is super comfortable. There is also a Beefeater restaurant attached where we had a lovely evening meal and breakfast at. All the staff were friendly, helpful and approachable. I will definitely recommend this place. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

This was a quick layover for a business trip in Port Talbot. Hotel staff were friendly and the room, albeit quite compact, was clean and comfortable. The adjoining Beefeater pub was busy due to the stay coinciding with a Bank Holiday weekend. But their staff were also welcoming and very accommodating. I'll certainly consider the Premier Inn Port Talbot next time I'm in town.

Downside food at the Beefeater (breakfast was cold over cooked) We put some glasses on the tables outside the Beefeater on Saturday morning and they was still there on Monday when we checked out

The location is good and check in was quick and friendly. Bathroom had a window open, yet there was a strong smell of wee. The bathroom itself was clean, I even tried wiping the floor, but still the smell remained for the duration of the stay. Room itself needs a deep clean or a repaint. Walls are scratched and stained, same in bathroom, random stains on the walls. Although worried about noise from the pub opposite, it was quiet. However, as the bedroom was right next to door to the stairs, accessed by card, until midnight and then from 6am, it was constant clicking and door slamming, every couple of minutes! Very loud and impossible to sleep.

Stayed at this hotel at the beginning of February as I was down south wales for a little visit to see an old friend of mine. Firstly, I received a very warm friendly welcome from the lady who was at reception. she helped get me checked in with ease and sufficient timing. The room I was situated in was in they annex building which is situated a very small walk away. First impressions of the room were that it was very clean, very spacious and crisp fresh bedding. The bathroom was a nice size aswell. Had a very pleasant sleep whilst I was staying here as the mattress was very nice and comfy. The room comes with air con which was an added bonus. I had breakfast each morning whilst I stayed here in the beefeater which is right next door and the food which was served was delicious and freshly prepared. Over all impressions of this hotel were to a very high standard. They have very nice staff working there, room and bathroom were really nice, big car park which I felt safe leaving my car. I will definitely stay here again for any future visits to south wales. Also to add, the hotel is situated not far from aberavon beach which I had a lovely walk along and plenty of places to stop for a little coffee break.

Great easy to find location. Lovely staff on reception. Room was lovely and clean with plenty of towels and extra pillows. Windows open to allow a through breeze which was nice as so many hotels now don’t allow windows to open but don’t give you control over the heating either! Bed was a bit bouncy so every time husband moved I woke up. This was the only negative as breakfast the following morning was excellent - if a little slow to arrive. Would stay again but wiuld request twin beds.

We had a really pleasant long weekend stay at this hotel as we were down visiting family. First of all we had such a lovely warm welcome from the receptionist who got us all checked in as quick as possible. All staff that we encountered were all friendly and happy to help with any queries that we had. We booked a family room and it was a lot better than I was expecting with it being our first time staying in a premier inn with our baby. The room had plenty of room, was super clean and plenty of extra pillows which we needed. The bed was so comfy and we all had a really good sleep each night. We had booked breakfast for the full weekend in the beefeater which is right next door. Food was absolutely amazing. So fresh and plenty to choose from. Overall we had such a pleasant stay at this hotel - no complaints at all and will definitely stay here again next time we come visiting family. Highly recommend this hotel!!

We stayed here during the Chris**as period, the staff were very welcoming and festive. On check in the kids were given a selection box (which went down really well with them). We didn’t spend much time in the hotel as we were down visiting family but the room seemed lovely and it was nice a quiet.we look forward to revisiting in the summer 😊

Excellent customer services even phoned to inform us we had forgotten some personal belongings so we could collect them. Will definitely be using them again. Rooms plenty of space and clean and everything works OK. Didn't have breakfast but from what we saw all looked OK.
