Lovely, small, intimate place in Mushroom Bay. Only 8 bungalows so never feels crowded. Don’t be deceived by the rough, questionable dirt road leading to Walet. Many places in Indonesia are like this: diamonds in the rough. Once we walked through the doors, we were greeted by a beautifully sculpted garden, clean wonderful pool to cool off in, and cute, newly refurbished bungalows. Staff were kind and accommodating. Walking distance to everything you could want in Mushroom Bay. No on site restaurant, breakfast is available to order, but we found the options a bit lean, so opted to simply walk 40 m in the morning to our preferred spots on the water. At this price, Walet is extremely good value, so no complaints here! We even got two adjoining bungalows with a communicating door, a must-have when travelling with our kids (12,14).
