This is our second review, as we extended our stay for another night. Our previous review focused on the hotel itself. This one will be about the hotel's restaurant.
Breakfast is not included in any of the rooms and needs to be ordered separately each morning. The menu is extensive and offers a lot of delicious food.
We finally decided to try it on our last evening. We ordered Pho Bo with beef, chicken, poke, and tea. Everything was delivered to our room. We ate, and the next morning, all the dishes were collected, and we settled the bill.
We also wanted to touch upon some of the other services the hotel provides.
Regarding the laundry service, be sure to double-check everything on the spot before handing over your clothes. Even if you know English, it's best to translate everything into Indonesian so that the staff understands you and vice-versa. We marked all the items with the administrator, and the total came out to 292,000 rupiah. We dropped off our clothes, and when we picked them up the next morning, we were presented with a bill for 485,000 rupiah. The math isn't hard; divide by 210. In the first case, that's 910 rubles, and in the second, it's 2,300 rubles – quite a significant difference.
We started comparing the sheet we'd marked everything on that morning with the sheet we were given the next day when we picked up our clothes. The new sheet had different items marked, some of which we didn't even have, like a scarf.
We asked why there were different items marked, and the girl took a new sheet, marked the original items, and we paid for those. She crumpled up and threw away the sheet with the incorrect items. Interesting, isn't it?
